HIGH END VS DRUGSTORE: BROWS

Hey guys, i hope you are all having an amazing day whatever you are up to! So if you have been reading my posts for a while now you should know that the gimme brow by Benefit is my holy grail eyebrow gel to keep my brows in place through out the day... well until now! I have a new contestant in the brow gel ring meet make me brow by Essence...

I discovered this little beauty randomly whilst browsing the Essence section and thought to myself wait a minute... this looks exactly like gimme brow and i didn't have a more affordable brow gel in my collection so i thought why not pick this up. Not only is the product a steal at only £2 but you actually get slightly more product than the gimme brow and that comes in at £17.50, so technically you could get almost 10 of the make me brow for the price of one gimme brow. Now down to the actual consistency and staying power test, unlike gimme brow where you can't actually feel the product on your brows, you can slightly feel the make me brow on them. Saying that this isn't a huge difference to me as i do actually think my brows stay in place slightly better when using this product over the gimme brow. As for the shades in these two products seeing as i have dark hair, the darkest shades match me perfectly (make me brow - browny brows and gimme brow - medium/deep). So overall so far so good the make me brow is a new favourite for me, although i'm not saying i won't ever reach for gimme brow again as it will always have a place in my heart ha ha!
