FAVOURITE FOUNDATIONS

Hey guys, i hope you are all having an amazing day whatever you are up to! Today in the UK is a bank holiday, so which meant no monday morning blues for some of us. For today's post i wanted to share with you four of my favourite foundations which i am currently loving, i usually do a "top five favourites" when i do these types of posts but i honestly just wanted to keep it even with two high end and two drugstore foundations...

NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation in the shade Fiji -
I wanted to start things off with probably my favourite of the bunch, and also the most expensive coming in at £32. In all honesty this foundation ticks all of the boxes and does as it suggests it does, giving you a full natural looking coverage (doesn't look cakey) and feels weightless on the skin as the formula is super lightweight. Another added bonus is that the smallest ammount of this product goes a long way you literally only need 1/2 tiny pumps for your entire face and it blends out like a dream. This foundation is perfect for those days where you would be wearing makeup for a long period of time and didn't want to worry about touching up as it is long lasting, i'm not sure whether it would last 16 hours as the foundation claims it does as i never tend to wear my makeup for that long, the maximum time would proably be about 12 hours.

L'Oreal True Match Foundation in the shade N1 Ivory -
This foundation is another light weight foundation with a fuller coverage but obviously a lot more affordable coming in at £9.99 from either Boots or Superdrug. I have gone through so many bottles of this i can't even tell you as it was such a holy grail foundation for me for the longest time. This foundation also blends out like a dream but i must say unlike the NARS foundation, i do find that i have to touch up through the day maybe adding some more concealer or powder.

Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place Foundation in the shade Bone -
This foundation is another holy grail staple for me and if you have read my posts for a while you will already know that i am a huge fan of all things Estée Lauder, they just always seem to get it right. The consistency of this foundation is a tad thicker than all of the others but when you apply it to the skin is feels weightless and blends out so easily. What i have found with this foundation is that you look the same at the end of the day as you did at the start, it does not budge! This foundation comes in at £29.50 with a semi-matte/natural looking finish.

Maybelline Dream Flawless Nude Foundation in the shade Ivory -
This foundation is that perfect foundation for those no makeup makeup days as it is super natural looking but you still have that bit of coverage, it is defintitly not a full coverage product. I love how easy it is to apply with it's teardrop applicator which is handy for when you are in a rush. This foundation also blends so easily and doesn't require a lot of effort of having to buff it into your skin. This is the cheapest foundation out of all four coming in at only £8.99 from either Boots or Superdrug.

I hope you have all enjoyed this blog post and i would love to know what some of your favourite foundations are at the moment?
