CURRENT DRUGSTORE FAVOURITES: MAKEUP, SKINCARE & HAIR PRODUCTS

Hey guys, i hope you are all having an amazing day whatever you are up to! As i mentioned in a previous post i had been rummaging through my makeup collection and had dug out a few items that i had even forgotten i had and ever since i have been reaching for these things a lot more. So for today's post i thought i would share with you my current favourite drugstore favourites, including a few of the items that i had forgot about...

Batiste Dry Shampoo Nourish & Enrich -
There is not a lot you can say about batiste dry shampoo except for the fact it is possibly hands down a lot of people's essential beauty item because it ticks all of the boxes, i have tried out so many different brands but i always go back to batiste and lately i have been loving the "nourish & enrich" version. I love this because it not only tackles the job it was made to do, it also makes your hair look super glossy and healthy.

L'Oreal Skin Perfection Anti-Fatigue Perk-Up Cream -
I had left this moisturizer alone for a few weeks as i had been trying out a different one which i was not impressed with at all compared to this one, so i am back to it and loving it. A lot of skincare products claim to do so many things especially drugstore brands but this one actually does brighten the appearance of your skin and it goes hand-in-hand with the advanced correcting serum from the same L'Oreal range.

Stick Eyeshadow -
(Milani Shadow Eyez in the shade Champagne Toast and Rimmel Kate Eyeshadow Stick in the shade Rose Gold).
In all honesty i don't tend to usually be a fan of stick eyeshadow's as i think a lot of them can crease really easily but recently when i found these in my collection and remembered that these two particular ones are pretty good. A good thing about these sticks are they are an easy way to get an eye look within seconds by simply applying these sweeping some across the lid and blending the edges with a brush, just like you would with any other cream eyeshadow.

Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette -
This palette is one of my latest drugstore purchases, i picked it up a couple of weeks ago and have already been using it a fair amount. This palette is really good if you are into neutrals (like me) and don't want to spend a ton of money on a decent quality palette as it is only around the £10 mark. It would be perfect if you are just starting out with makeup also.

Sleek Matte Me Ultra Smooth Lip Cream in the shade Petal -
I mentioned this lip product in my previous post (i will link it below if you want to check it out) but i love how non drying the formula of these lip creams are and this shade is stunning, the perfect pink nude shade.

Milani Brilliant Shine Lip Gloss in the shade Bare Secret -
This is probably my favourite nude lip gloss in my whole collection. I just love everything about Milani glosses as they smell so amazing and sweet like vanilla, as well as them being super pigmented and not sticky in the slightest.

Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Blush in the shade One For Playing Games -
I mentioned this blush in my "spring blushes" blog post last month and you can check that out here: http://katiebeautyshake.blogspot.co.uk/2015/05/spring-blushes.html
I am a huge fan of baked blushes possibly because i am a sucker for super glowing cheeks and sometimes a regular blush can give you that colour in your cheeks but still look a little flat and you don't get that with baked blushes. These are also a steal at only £2.50.

Estée Lauder Illuminating Perfecting Primer -
Ok so technically Estée Lauder isn't classed as a drugstore item price wise but you can get Estée Lauder products in a lot of larger boots stores, so does that count? If you read my posts on the regular you will already know that i am a huge Estée Lauder junkie but this primer is second to none and the glow this gives off is so beautiful and doesn't look too shiny.
