JULY FAVOURITES: BEAUTY

For today's post i am back with the second part of my July favourites, which is going to be all about beauty. This month i haven't really been using many new products that i haven't talked about before but there is still one or two things that are either new or discovering forgotten favourites...

Colgate Max White Expert White Toothpaste in Soft Mint -
Not the most exciting product to discuss in a beauty favourites but saying that i had heard nothing but good things about this toothpaste, so obviously i had to give it a try. It is the first toothpaste in the UK to apparently contain a professional whitening ingredient (hydrogen peroxide) and claims to whiten teeth after just 5 days using it twice a day. I can honestly say i have noticed a huge difference and i will most definitely be keeping this in my everyday routine.

MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in the shade NC15 -
This concealer is an old favourite of mine and until recently it had fallen out of favor to my Estée Lauder Double Wear Concealer. To me these concealers are very similar as they have such a high coverage and i have been using Pro Longwear this month since my Double Wear ran out and i am yet to go and replace it. I am now almost at the end of this concealer also, so i might splurge and restock both into my collection. I definitely recommend this if you are looking for a high coverage concealer and it is slightly more affordable than the Estée Lauder one.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar H Soothing Moisturiser -
Being a lover of all things beauty you are always looking to try new products, so i decided to give a new moisturiser a go and decided to give this one a try. I tend to have a pretty normal skin type except for the odd dry spot now and again in colder months. I had heard from someone that if you are prone to breakouts which i have been over the last few months that using a moisturiser that is more gentle and targeted for oily skin types as the ingredients contained help keep your pores clear unlike products for dry skin can cause your pores to clog up causing the breakouts (which will move on to my next product in my favourites).

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser -
This cleanser is a life changer for me, it literally melts every bit of makeup off my face so easy as well as stubborn mascara and gel liner. I have also noticed since i have been using this cleanser my scarring from breakouts have cleared up so much easier than they usually would of. I am one of those people that when they get a breakout anywhere it takes what feels like forever to go. So this cleanser mixed with the La Roche-Posay Moisturiser and the Clinique Anti-Blemish Clearing Gel into my daily routine is the perfect combination for my skin.

Manhattan Intense Effect Eyeshadow Duo in the shade Peach Party -
I have been obsessed with this duo eyeshadow this month, as i have mentioned in a previous post i have been loving peachy bronze shades. I seriously couldn't believe how stunning this duo was when i swatched it and as well as how pigmented it was for the price. If i remember rightly it was under £3 which is a complete bargain, i need more of them in my life.

Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Eye Pencil in the shade Lush -
I have been after a eye pencil for ages which wasn't black, as i always tend to opt for black or white/nude liners for the waterline. I opted for this gorgeous brown shade one from Urban Decay as i thought it wasn't as dark as black but it still had that smoky/sexy vibe to it and it really makes my eye colour really pop. I love the formula and how long lasting they are, so i am definitely going to add some more of them to my collection.

Sally Hansen Nail Polish in the shade Cute-Ture
&
No7 Stay Perfect Nail Polish in the shade Spice -
I have been obsessed with these two nail polishes this month mainly for my toes, they are definitely that perfect summer "toes shade". I have also been loving the Sally Hansen polish on my finger nails, not only for the colour but for how long lasting it is. Pinks/Corals have been my nail vibes for this month unlike the month before where it was Nudes.
