DRUGSTORE VS DRUGSTORE: CREAM BLUSHES

Happy Monday Everyone! For today's post i am back with another "drugstore vs drugstore" but rather than having a foundation going head to head with another foundation, i decided to put two cream/liquid blushes to the test. These two products have so many different qualities to them although the packaging form is very similar...

The two cream blushes that are going head to head against each other are:

Makeup Revolution Vivid Blush Lacquer in the shade Desire - £1 usually £1.99
Bourjois 12hr Aqua Blush in the shade Ingé-nude - £8.99

Let's kick things off with the bargain of the post, the Makeup Revolution Vivid Blush Lacquer in the shade Desire, this is only £1 currently over on the Makeup Revolution website. This is a product that you literally only need the tiniest amount of (not even half a pump) as it is super pigmented and the most beautiful pink shade what gives your cheeks this beautiful healthy flush appearance. Just like any other product i have tried from Makeup Revolution i am not disappointed and i would definitely give it a four out of five rating.

Next up is the Bourjois 12hr Aqua Blush in the shade Ingé-nude, this product like the Makeup Revolution one also comes in a pump form but is a lot thicker in consistency and harder to pump out. I applied this blush the same way i apply all cream blushes with a stippling brush but this one does need more blending in than the other cream blush does and didn't look as flawless as the other did. Once i finally got the product blended in probably it did have a really nice finish, it just is a lot harder to work with than the Vivid Blush Lacquer. I would rate this product a three and a half out of five.

Out of the two products i will definitely be reaching for the Makeup Revolution blush over the Bourjois one, i also can't get over that it is super affordable at only £1 which is crazy for a product that definitely has a higher end finish to it.
