Beauty Favourites:
Urban Decay Naked Smoky Eyeshadow Palette -
Let's kick all things beauty related off with the thing i have hardly been able to put down this month as i have been itching to get my hands on this for what feels like forever. This has to be by far my favourite of all the naked palette's. You can check out my blog post on the palette here:
Dove Derma Spa Goodness Indulgent Hand Cream -
I believe this product by Dove is pretty new well i think so anyway, i have only just recently seen it advertised. I decided to give the hand cream a go because i am always on the look out for that perfect one and so far so good with this one. The smell is absolutely amazing and it does have that spa like scent/feel to it, i wouldn't mind giving some other products a go from this line.
OGX KukuĂ Oil Shampoo -
I am so late to the party when it comes to trying out the OGX brand of hair care products, so many other people rave about how amazing the argan oil, coconut oil and macadamia oil infused products are. I decided to give the KakuĂ Oil one a try as it is specifically designed to hydrate and defrizz your hair, which i most definitely need help with for my type of hair. I am obsessed with how soft this has made my hair without it being unmanageable and too fly away.
Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel -
It's October so that means no other than Christmas products have landed at Lush stores and online, which means it's snow fairy time! When you think about it, it kind of seems really sad getting so excited about a shower gel but you just can't get much better than this pink candy-like goodness in a bottle and i am all stocked up for a while.
Batiste Eden Dry Shampoo -
You know for the past year i have been a complete COLAB dry shampoo convert but when this landed on shelves exclusively to Superdrug, i just had to give it a go. This smells amazing as it is sweet melon and honeysuckle scented. For some reason as well this one doesn't seem as powdery as i find some other batiste ones can be.
(Lip product loves of the month) MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in the shade Creme D'Nude & Makeup Revolution Lipstick in the shade Nude -
This month for me it has been all about them nude lips (surprise, surprise). Last month i was straight into those more vampy/autumn shades but this month i have headed back towards the nudes. Creme D'Nude Lipstick by MAC has been a favourite of mine for a while but the Makeup Revolution Lipstick in the shade Nude is a new product for me and i love the matte finish as well as it being a slightly darker nude shade unlike Creme D'Nude which is a much lighter nude shade.
Makeup Revolution Focus & Fix Eye Primer -
When it comes to eye primers for me it has always been the Urban Decay Primer Potion but i wanted to give a more affordable product a try and decided to go with this one. Like i have said in the past i have never been disappointed with any Makeup Revolution product i have tried, so i thought this would be a safe option to go with. I really like the wand it comes with as it makes it easier to apply to your lids, you can just swipe it straight on and then blend in. This is just the original shade which is very similar in colour to my natural skin tone.
MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in the shade NC15 -
I believe i mentioned this concealer a couple of monthly favourite's posts ago and i was almost out, so i went ahead and purchased another one and now i can't seem to pick up anything else when it comes to concealer. The coverage on this concealer is just amazing and it doesn't crease in the slightest, as it is a pro longwear product it also lasts all day on me.
Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil Rosehip Fragrance -
Last but not forgotten for the beauty section of my monthly favourites is this life changing product. Many people might of heard that rosehip is a great product to use on any scarring to the skin, so i decided to pick this one up by chance not thinking it would actually work for me but it has...so much! I am one of those people where if i get a breakout it will take what feels like forever to disappear until i began using this product and i believe i noticed a difference within a couple of days, along with my skin being super soft and hydrated.
Random Favourites:
This month i re-watched all of The Twilight Saga movies and i forgot how obsessed with them i actually was. For me these movies are no matter how many times you watch them it still feels like the first time, even though you know what is going to happen. I still have a huge crush on Edward!
I had mentioned this candle during "Fall Week" and how much this candle is perfect for the time of year as it is super warming/homely. I am also a sucker for sweet fragrances. So therefore i have been burning this since i re-purchased it earlier this month. You can check out my fall yankee candle blog post out here: http://katiebeautyshake.blogspot.co.uk/2015/10/fall-week-favourite-autumn-yankee.html
Music: This month is similar to last month as i am still obessed with the Beauty Behind The Madness album by The Weeknd but i have also been obsessed with anything and everything Chris Brown. I have been loving not only his newest tracks Zero and Liquor but also all of his previous albums, he has been such a favourite artist of mine since day one!
TV Shows: No surprise here but for me Grey's Anatomy once again has been slaying the TV Show game once again, i just can't get enough (once a week is not enough). Another show i have been loving is a new one called Limitless which is like a crime/drama series based around this guy called Brian, i don't want to give away too many spoilers but i definitely recommend checking it out.
