TWELVE DAYS OF BLOGMAS DAY THREE: FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS MUSIC/FILMS

Hello Everyone and welcome to day three of the "twelve days of blogmas" and for today's post i thought i would talk about all things Christmas Music/Film related. Let's face it when it comes to Christmas one of the main features of the whole Christmas experience besides spending time with loved ones and obviously the food, is the Christmas Music and the Christmas Films...

Let's kick things off with music and obviously my favourite Christmas song ever, which happens to be All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey. This has been my favourite Christmas song for as long as i can remember, it is just such a classic!

Next up on my list of favourites is not one but two Christmas songs by Ariana Grande, these two songs are from last year but remain a favourite this year also. First up is Santa Tell Me, which was the first Christmas song i listened to this year and i continued to have it on repeat for around an hour or so (i have no shame in saying that ha). The second song is her cover of Wham's 80's classic Last Christmas, which obviously she nailed...so good!

This next song was clearly a match made in heaven for Sam Smith to do a cover of because it is just simply beautiful, there are no other words to describe it. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas is such a timeless classic to begin with and it always leaves me full of goosebumps.

This next song is by one of my favourite female artists and that is Tamar Braxton and this particular song is from her Winter's Loversland "Christmas Album" she released. The album has a bunch of covers of classic Christmas carols/songs but also a few original songs. My favourite is a track called She Can Have You and all i am going to say is this girl can SING!
So let's talk about all things Christmas Film related, this is such a hard decision to make and actually narrow it down to only a handful of favourite films. Saying that i am one of those people who loves all of the classic favourites a lot of people love, such as Elf, Miracle On 34th Street, Home Alone, The Grinch and Love Actually.

As well as all of those classic favourites i also love The Polar Express, This Christmas, The Holiday, The Family Stone, Serendipity and Bridget Jones's Diary. Talking of Bridget Jones, i don't technically think it is intended to be a Christmas film but it really just reminds me of Christmas. I think it reminds me of Christmas because it is in some parts of the film and it is always on TV around the holiday season. Please tell me it's not just me who thinks that?

I would love to know what some of your favourite Christmas songs and films are?
