EASTER TREATS WEEK: CHOCOLATE NESTS

Hello Everyone and welcome to this month's themed week on my blog. Seeing as Easter is in a week or so i thought why not do a "Easter Treats Week" with five different yet yummy Easter treats, as there is nothing better than biting into something sweet or chocolaty during this time and so much better than a normal/boring chocolate egg. So let's kick things off with probably one of the quickest and easiest treats to make, chocolate nests...

To make the nests you will need:

12 cupcake cases
2 x 100g milk chocolate, broken into pieces
85g shredded wheat, crushed
2 x 100g bags cadbury chocolate mini eggs

Method:

First of all you are going to want to melt the chocolate into a small bowl, placed over a pan of slightly simmering water. Once melted pour the melted chocolate into the already crushed shredded wheat, then stir well to combine covering all of the shredded wheat with the chocolate mixture. Next you are going to want to spoon your combined mixture into the 12 cupcake cases, using the back of a tea spoon press into the middle to create a nest shape. All that is left to do then is place 3 mini eggs on top and place in the fridge to chill for 2 hours. It's that simple and not to mention tasty!
