FAVOURITE AFFORDABLE BRANDS: L'OREAL

Hello Everyone! So last month i decided to start a new mini series on my blog, breaking down and talking about some of my favourite affordable products by brand and not just all mixed together. The first instalment was all about my favourites from Freedom (which you can catch here: Favourite Affordable Brands: Freedom). Up next is probably one of my favourite if not my favourite brands at the drugstore, which is L'Oreal and this was so hard to decide just a handful of favourites as i love pretty much every single thing i have ever tried by them...

TRUE MATCH HIGHLIGHT IN THE SHADE GOLDEN GLOW £6.99 -
This is one of the newer products available from L'Oreal and it is one i have been obsessed with the past couple of months. This product is very similar to my well loved liquid illuminators from Rimmel, but this one is the most beautiful glowing gold shade (hence it's shade name). This product can be applied either on the high points of the face, mixed into foundation or even as a base before your primer for a dewy/glowing from within finish.

TRUE MATCH FOUNDATION IN THE SHADE N3 £9.99 -
I have a handful of favourite foundations from L'Oreal but when it came down to it, i just had to go with an old favourite and one i have used for years. The foundation is great if you really want to control the type of coverage you get, as it is medium but build able to a full coverage yet it is extremely lightweight on the skin and still natural looking. Another thing i love from this foundation, is that is extremely long wearing and it doesn't budge/fade.

INFALLIBLE 24H MATTE IN THE SHADE WARM VANILLA £4.99 -
For so many years the Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder was my go-to, until i tried this one out and now i can't tell you how many of these i have gone through. It literally does everything it suggests it does, which is to keep you matte in the areas you want to all day long. The selling point for me though is the fact that this powder isn't heavy or cake-y looking on the skin, as you can barely tell it is even there and this shade is perfect for me no matter how pale or tanned i am as it doesn't effect the shade of foundation placed underneath.

INFALLIBLE MEGA DAZZLE GLOSS IN THE SHADE DISCO BALL £6.99 -
I am particularly fussy when it comes down to lip glosses and there is only a selection of brands i actually like. With that in mind the infallible glosses from L'Oreal are probably my favourite, next to the ones from Anastasia Beverly Hills, as they aren't sticky or patchy-looking on the lips and they also last a long time. This particular shade is a beautiful nude/gold-like shimmery shade, making it the perfect lip topper to any nude lip combination.

BROW ARTIST PLUMPER IN THE SHADE MEDIUM/DARK £5.99 -
I will not rave on about this product for too long, as if you have read my posts for a while then you will know i rarely use anything else but this brow gel to set my brows. This brow gel is literally like hair spray for your brows, they would survive through strong windy/wet weather ha! I also like the fact that it is a tinted brow gel.

VOLUME MILLION LASHES EXTRA BLACK MASCARA £9.99 -
This is that mascara that i always go back to if i am stuck on a new one to give a try, it is also the mascara i put in my ride or die makeup tag post because i have used it for years. It separates, volumizes, lengthens and is like the name suggests makes your eyelashes extra black.

COLOR RICHE MONO EYESHADOW IN THE SHADE GOLD MANIA £5.49 -
If you are a sucker for gorgeous golden/metallic eyeshadows, then this is the one for you. It is literally so beautiful applied to the lid with a matte transition shade in the crease. I also love a shade called Little Beige Dress, which is perfect for highlighting the inner corners of the eye or even as a brow bone highlight.
