ORDER OF APPLICATION: EVERYDAY MAKEUP

Hello Everyone! When it comes down to the application process applying our makeup, we all have different techniques/uses for brushes and of course the order in which we apply our makeup. With that in mind i thought i would share with you a step by step, into the order that i always do my makeup on an everyday basis...

Kicking things off once i have applied my usual skincare products and a good spritz of my Freedom Pro Studio Priming Water, i like to go straight in with my foundation of choice that specific day. I usually apply my foundation with a dampened beauty blender, before moving onto the next step. That next step happens to be my brows, as i like to do my concealer/remaining face makeup after i have done my eye makeup. I always do my brows the same way using a pomade with an angled brow brush, cleaning/sharpening the brows with a concealer and then going in with my favourite trusty brow gel.

Moving onto eyes i always like to use some sort of neutral/almost skin-toned concealer or paint pot, just to even out my eye lids removing any discoloration and creating a blank canvas for any eyeshadow look. Once i have applied this i always set it straight away using a pressed powder or a skin-toned colour eyeshadow to prevent creasing. Next i always apply some form of matte eyeshadow as a transition shade in the crease, before applying anything else.

Once i have finished applying my eyeshadows of choice, i like to go straight in with my eyeliner and mascara to my top lashes. Then i like to go in with my concealer of choice and blending it out with my beauty blender. Next i always go in with a brightening yellow pressed powder to set my under-eye area and then my normal pressed powder for the rest of my face. Then i will apply mascara to my bottom lashes, to complete the eyes.

Moving on to the rest of my face makeup and probably my favourite part, which is contouring/bronzing, followed my blush of choice and then making myself glow from the gods in the form of this beauty of a highlighter from Jouer. All that is left to do is set my face with setting spray before moving on to the final step.

That final step i am talking about is some sort of nude lip combination (you know the drill). I will always start off lining my lips with a lip liner, before going in with a lipstick or liquid lipstick. Sometimes i will leave it there and sometimes i will go in with a gloss on top, all depending on if i want a matte or glossy lip that day.
