2016 MAKEUP FAVOURITES

Hello everyone, i hope you all had a lovely Christmas and Happy New Year! Back in June i shared a "mid 2016 favourites" post, which you can catch HERE and now that we have started a new year, i thought why not kick things off by talking about some of my makeup favourites from the whole of 2016...

As this is my 2016 makeup favourites, i won't go on for too long about each item because if they are included in this post, then i have probably already rambled about them a lot already.

ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS THAT GLOW GLOW KIT -

This ABH highlight palettes have been well talked about over the year, as they are all built up of beautiful and diverse glowing shades. For us in the UK this palette was a once it was gone it was gone palette, but just last week ABH finally launched a UK based site stocking every single product in the range (including liquid lipsticks: currently out of stock).

JOUER POWDER HIGHLIGHTER IN THE SHADE TOPAZ - 

This highlighter now might just be my favourite highlighter ever, i know insane that i could just love one single highlighter that much! This particular highlighter is so finely milled pressed powder, which gives you the most stunning warm bronze-y, rose golden glow.

THREE BRONZER FAVOURITES -

Apart from a good highlighter and a nude lip or two, bronzers are probably one of my favourite items of makeup and i tend to be super fussy when it comes to finding the perfect one. Saying that last year i found three particular favourites two from Makeup Revolution (vivid baked bronzer/bronze, shimmer, highlight) and one from ARTDECO (here comes the sun bronzer).

KIKO 30 DAY LASH TREATMENT MASCARA -

This mascara has been my go-to mascara for most of last year and will probably continue to be this year also, as it is like nothing else i have ever tried. I had previously mentioned when i first bought this mascara, i didn't have any expectation from it but i was surprised as it has definitely made my lashes longer. I love the type of wand, the formula of the mascara itself as well as how black it is.   

 TOO FACED SWEET PEACH PALETTE -

It was a toss up between two palettes for my favourite eyeshadow palette of the year, this one and the ABH modern renaissance but this one just won the first place prize. I love Too Faced eyeshadows in general but this palette is filled of my personal favourite types of shades and as a bonus it smells amazing of peaches (obviously).  

MAYBELLINE FIT ME MATTE & PORELESS FOUNDATION -

I have tried and loved so many different foundations last year, but this one has to be my favourite out of the whole bunch. I also won't ramble on for too long about why i love it, instead why not check out my first impression/review post all about the foundation HERE.

BOURJOIS RADIANCE REVEAL CONCEALER -

Just like foundation i have tried a whole lot of concealers as well, but this one has to be my favourite. I love how brightening, full coverage, lightweight and radiant it leaves your under-eye. The main selling point for me is that it doesn't crease on me at all and it is something that i tend to struggle with, from time to time.

MAYBELLINE MASTER DRAMA THE NUDES EYE PENCIL -

I love the formula of all of the Maybelline Master Drama kohl eye pencils, as i have quite a few shades but the shade Brownie Glitz has to be my favourite of them all. I always used to be a simple black kohl pencil kind of girl but now i much prefer the softer brown/bronze shades.

LIP FAVOURITES FROM THE YEAR -

I am definitely not going to go into too much detail just yet about all of my lip product favourites from the year, as i plan on doing an in-depth post on them soon but i thought i would just share a few favourites, such as liquid lipsticks from NYX and LA Splash.
