Last year Jodi Ellen Malpas became one of my favourite authors and i ended up reading four of her books (the this man trilogy and the protector, both must reads). She recently announced that she is releasing a new book later this year titled the forbidden, which i already can't wait for!
Sticking with the same author, this series is the only three books by her that i am yet to read and i have already placed my amazon order for all of them. I am intrigued to find out if it is similar or better than the this man series, as i was obsessed with it and read all three within a couple of weeks.
I had spotted this book back in the summer whilst in Waterstones and it completely slipped my mind to go back and pick it up. The book at first glance left me feeling intrigued, as it is the typical genre of book i usually reach for. This book is going to be the first on my list after the one night trilogy.
I am really excited for this book release in a couple of months i believe, as it pretty much ticks all of the boxes of what i look for in a book. Not only for my love of anything french but also because i am a sucker for the typical single girl/romance style book.
This particular book was recommended as a must read by a friend of mine, as she said it was a really good/funny romantic read and from what she told me about the story it sounds like one that is perfect for me. Whilst researching the book online, i noticed this author has a range of similar books that also look like good reads. Apparently some of the location of the book is based in Nottingham, which happens to be my home town!

I have heard so many amazing reviews about this particular book, which has left me super intrigued as apparently it is a really captivating yet disturbing read. So many people have said it is a super easy one to get into, as it has you hooked from the start and is one you can't put down.

The last two books for this post happen to be two books i know i should of read in 2016, but once again it was a case of i forgot to. I am yet to watch the movie, as i feel like i want to read the book first does anyone else get like that? I have heard that both book and film are equally as gripping.

Another read that i am waiting to watch the movie until i have read the book (which now has a sequel) and apparently is a story that will pull firmly on your heart strings, have you laughing, crying and feeling all sorts of feels which to me is the making of a good book!
