MY THREE GO-TO TRAVEL FRIENDLY HIGHLIGHT PALETTES

Hello everyone! When it comes to packing makeup i pretty much always opt for a makeup bag by skinnydip, as you can fit a ton of stuff in such a small place. That being said when i travel i always take a couple of additional palettes that don't fit inside my makeup bag, one being an eyeshadow palette of some sort and the other being a highlight palette, rather than using just one product for the whole weekend or week. With that in mind for today's post i thought i would share with you three of my go-to travel friendly highlight palettes.

I have spoke about this particular palette on so many occasions (it even featured in my 2016 favourites) as it is such a handy highlight palette to have and it isn't the only type of glow kit/highlighter palette the brand stocks, they have a wide range of kits in various shades retailing from £39. What i love the most about this palette, isn't just that it gives you the most amazing pigmented glow but it is perfect for so many different skin-tones. The glow kits are super slim/compact, so travelling with one of these won't take up much room in your luggage/bag at all.

If you are looking for a more affordable highlight palette to travel with, then this is probably the best one available at the drugstore. For £15 you get seven different highlight shades, that are all super pigmented. Just like the Anastasia Beverly Hills glow kit, this palette is also super slim/compact. Whenever i reach for this palette whether i am just at home or travelling i always tend to reach for the three bottom shades, as they are my favourite three from the palette.

If you are looking to slim down your travel makeup even further, then this palette is definitely a must buy as you have your bronze/contour, blush and highlight all in one place for only £13. The highlight shade in the palette is the most perfect dupe for the albatross highlight by NARS, as both look pure white in the pan but when applied they give the most beautiful golden sheen to the skin.

Along side my three go-to travel palettes, i thought i would add in another great palette hack/tip. If you are like me and have a lot of eyeshadow pans from either makeup geek or morphe, you could invest in a z palette to keep the specific shadows you want to travel with in. If you have a large/extra large sized palette, you can keep both eyeshadows and highlighters in once place taking up even less space. If you have a glow kit by Anastasia Beverly Hills you can remove what shade you want to take with you and place it in you z palette, as the bottom of the pans are magnetic just like pan eyeshadows.
