DRESSING TABLE ESSENTIALS THAT WON'T BREAK THE BANK

Hello everyone! So my dressing table is probably one of my favourite places to sit, not only to play around with makeup on a daily basis but also as it is where i sit on my laptop to work. I have a pretty spacious dressing table/desk area as i have the white micke desk from ikea, with the white nissedal mirror placed on the wall above it. The desks storage drawers/shelves is where i keep the majority of my makeup but there is still products i have no home for, which is where dressing table accessories come in handy. With that in mind for today's post i thought i would share with you some great dressing table pieces, that won't break the bank.

asos beauty extras beauty stacking boxes - £6 each
ASOS forever seems to surprise me on what you can actual buy from them now, you can even pick up makeup storage from their "beauty extras" section of the site and the pricing is pretty affordable. These two items are great for storing cotton pads, because having them stored this way looks so much tidier and they are easy accessible. The beauty stacking boxes could be used for so many different things from square cotton pads, cotton buds and even some smaller sized makeup/skincare products.

In the middle of my dressing table is where i keep my acrylic storage, i have two of these specific drawers then one of the acrylic box narrow two drawers and this is where i keep all of my liquid lipsticks/glosses and some bullet lipsticks. You could just opt for the acrylic box five drawers but the only downside to these drawers is that you can't fit larger products inside, unlike the wide drawers where you can even stack products.

3. h&m scented glass jar candle - £3.99 each
Candles are the perfect accessory for any dressing table, not only do they make your room smell amazing, they also look good. You can get amazing scented candles from pretty much anywhere but i am a sucker for a h&m candle, when it comes to picking up something affordable. Another amazing use for these particular glass jar candles, is that when you have finished burning it you can simply re-use it for storage purposes.

4. argos danielle creations chrome beauty mirror - £9.99 each
No dressing table would be complete without one of these beauty/makeup mirrors, as they are literally perfect for doing your makeup at your dressing table. There are so many great versions of this specific mirror ranging from next to nothing all the way up to almost £100, it honestly comes down to what type you are looking for. I personally have the no7 illuminating version, which i picked up when it was on a half price promotion (currently full price). Saying that this particular from argos is pretty identical and it is under £10, such a bargain!

If you just have a handful of essential brushes or a selection of spare brushes, then mugs are the perfect alternative to your typical brush holder. Etsy have so many cute different quote/makeup related mugs and i am obsessed with the selection the linked seller has. Another mug brush holder alternative that is definitely not going to break the bank is the alphabet letter mugs from matalan, which only retail for £5 in-fact i couldn't resist ordering one for myself. Mugs like this don't have to be used for drinking/brush holding purposes, they would also look cute with some of your favourite liquid lipsticks/glosses or even pencil form products.
