THE BEST NEW-IN BEAUTY GIFT SETS

Hello everyone! Christmas is already only a couple of months away and brands/stores are starting to stock their shelves/online stores with new-in gift sets. With that in mind for today's post i thought i would share with you a selection of my best picks for new-in beauty gift sets, which would be perfect to get an early start on your Christmas shopping, for a birthday gift or even just to treat yourself.

bareMinerals send nudes trio | £32 bareMinerals |
If you have read my posts for a while now, you will probably know i am obsessed with these from bareMinerals and this matte lip trio is the perfect gift for a nude lip lover.

This Christmas season Dior are selling exclusive ready gift wrapped perfumes, which is great for those who's wrapping skills aren't on point and also this scent is simply beautiful.

If you know someone who is a complete makeup addict, then a beauty blender is probably their best friend and this blender and cleaner bauble duo, is the perfect stocking filler.

Another great stocking filler but this time one that is a little more on the affordable side, Soap and Glory know how to do Christmas sets and every year they get better and better!

The NEOM gift sets for Christmas this year are simply beautiful, from the products inside and the packaging which makes for a perfect luxury gift for so many different people.

neom luxury organics christmas wish candle | £30 Selfridges |
I always think if you are stuck on what to get someone, get them a candle right? NEOM candles are one of my favourites anyway but this Christmas limited edition candle is simply beautiful.

nuxe my dream gift set | £20 Look Fantastic |
If you know someone who loves their skincare then this NUXE trio gift set is surely a winner, as it doesn't break the bank, looks beautiful and also the products inside are too (i love the dry multi-purpose oil).

starskin #maskboss face mask set | £27 Selfridges |
Another great one for those skincare lovers/mask addicts in the form of a sheet mask set, this gift is the perfect mix between luxury and practical for somebody.

pixi skintreats duo | £28 Look Fantastic |
This skintreats duo is the perfect gift for those who love anything that will achieve glowing looking skin, stocked with the ever so famous glow tonic by PIXI.

glamglow multi-masking kit | £39 M&S |
Sticking with the glowing/skincare theme, this glamglow minis set is such a great idea and not just for giving as a gift but also if you just want to give a bunch of different masks a try before buying the full sized version.

I received a sneak-peek to buy email for this years holiday collection by MAC and once again they have "wowed" me, this is the perfect luxury gift for those lipstick lovers.

Another collection that is even more beautiful than last year is Tanya Burr's Christmas range, these palettes make such a great gift to people of all ages and are super affordable.

Finally we have another perfect luxury themed gift, perfect for those bath lovers that you know, in fact this Christmas Laura Mercier have so many beautiful gift sets!

AFFORDABLE DUPES FOR HIGH-END SKINCARE

Hello everyone! Through out the years i have discovered so many different affordable dupes for higher end products, along side a few finds discovered by others and i have posted a ton of different dupes from makeup, haircare and skincare. With that in mind, i thought this would be the perfect time to do an updated version of some affordable dupes for high end skincare that i have discovered recently/have yet to share.

Facial pads are such a great product to reach for after cleansing, not just to help make sure all your makeup is removed but also to help brighten the skin and give it a natural radiance. These two particular pads from two different brands are probably the most popular of their kind, which is ironic because they are the perfect dupe of each other and the only difference between the two in my opinion is the price. The first aid beauty pads retail at £24 for 60 pads and the nip+fab pads retail at £12.95 for 60 pads, so that is a price difference of £11.05.

These two products are a well talked about dupes for each other and is an oldie but a goodie, as the two products have been well loved by many for years now in the beauty community. Using micellar water is a great way of removing any stubborn makeup such as eyeliner, waterproof mascara and long-wearing lip products. I have personally gone through so many bottles of the garnier version, yet i only purchased the bioderma one once as i honestly see no difference. The bioderma solution retails at £19.10 for 500ml and the garnier cleansing water retails at £3.29 for 400ml, so that is a price difference of £15.81.

I actually mentioned this particular moisturiser by peter thomas roth in a pre-fall wishlist post last month and a lovely lady sent me a message saying she had tried this moisturiser and the garnier moisture bomb cream was an exact dupe, because it has all the same hydrating benefits and texture. That being said i definitely think i am going to save the pennies and opt for the moisture bomb cream, as i know i will love it because the moisture bomb sheet masks are a favourite of mine. The peter thomas roth water drench cream retails at £42 for 48ml and the garnier moisture bomb cream retails at £7.99 for 100g, so that is a price difference of £34.01.

One of my go-to skincare/bodycare products is argan oil, as it has so many amazing benefits especially when it comes to brightening and hydrating the skin. That being said over the years i have tried so many different versions from different brands, some high-end some affordable and the two that are complete dupes for each other as they are both just pure argan oil (no other ingredients) are the one by john masters which retails at £32.50 and the one by the ordinary which retails at just £6. The fact that one company can over charge so much for something that is 100% the same product, always blows my mind and is something that deciem took into consideration. The price difference between the two oils is £26.50.

Finally we have another affordable dupe that has been discussed widely across the beauty community recently and it is actually a face mask you can pick up from aldi, yes you heard right aldi. Personally i didn't even know aldi sold beauty products but apparently they do, which definitely makes me want to get my hands on this mask asap as i have tried the glamglow youthmud mask and loved it, so if i can save myself some serious money i am down for that. Even though i am yet to try the affordable dupe, i think from other peoples recommendations it is worth the dupe title and i can't wait to give it ago for myself. The glamglow youthmud retails at £42 for 50g and the lacura exfoliating mud mask retails at just £6 for 50g, so that makes the price difference £36.
