DRUGSTORE VS DRUGSTORE FOUNDATION #2

A little while ago i did a "drugstore vs drugstore foundation head to head" post, you can check that out here: http://katiebeautyshake.blogspot.co.uk/2015/09/affordable-makeup-week-drugstore-vs.html
So for today's post i thought i would share with you another head to head with two different foundations, one i have tried before (as you will read below) and one that i haven't...

The the two drugstore foundations which i chose to go head to head are:

L'Oreal True Match in the shade N1 - £9.99
Bourjois Healthy Mix in the shade Light Vanilla - £9.99
(I decided to go with two foundations which were similar in shades, what would match me perfectly at the moment).

Let's kick things off with the L'Oreal True Match Foundation, if you have been reading my post's for a while now you will know that this is probably my holy grail drugstore foundation and i have gone through endless bottles of it. So just by reading this you obviously know that this foundation is already a winner for me and i must say i absolutely love the new packaging, it still has a pump the same as before as well as it containing 30ml (standard foundation size). This foundation is super long wearing and has great converge which is build-able all depending on the type of coverage you are wanting. I would rate this product a four out of five.

Next up is the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation and surprisingly enough a foundation i have never tried until just recently. A few years ago my go-to foundation used to be the 123 Perfect also by Bourjois and i loved that although it does feel a little heavier than this one. This foundation is super lightweight feeling on the skin and leaves the most beautiful finish, it also blends out really well and also has a really pleasant scent to it fresh and fruity. This foundation also comes with a pump and contains 30ml. I would also give this foundation a rating of four out of five.

Now after trying both of these foundations and i could only limit to purchasing one out of the two i would probably go for the Bourjois Healthy Mix as it does have something slightly over the L'Oreal True Match that i just can't put my finger on, although i prefer the True Match packaging but it is all about the product inside that counts in the end.
