EMPTIES | JANUARY

Hello Everyone and Happy Monday! Today i am bringing you a post that is so overdue, that being said i literally can't remember the last time i did one. So this year i am making it my mission to share with you if not every month then most month's all of the products i have completely used up, all depending on how many products i work my way through in a month. If you are unfamiliar with an "empties" type post, they are just me sharing my opinions on products i have used up and whether i would purchase them again or not...

Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Texturising Spray -
If you are looking for a good product to add some much needed texture to your hair but don't want to splash the cash on the famous one by Oribe, then this is for you. In fact down to personal opinion, i actually prefer this Charles Worthington one and i repurchase it over and over again. Saying this my local Boots seems to be out of stock which is annoying, but i am trying another one out by Batiste and it isn't bad at all.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in the shade Light Vanilla -
This is a product that went head to head on my blog against another drugstore foundation and this one came out on top. It is a really nice lightweight/healthy looking foundation giving you great coverage. I would definitely purchase it again, but not straight away as i have a new "drugstore foundation love" and i am completely in love with that.

MAC Prep+Prime Highlighter in the shade Bright Forecast -
This is a product i have purchased a couple of times now, as i really like it combined with their pro longwear concealer if i am wanting a super highlighted/bright under-eye area. I really like the way it is in a twisty pen with a brush applicator, it just makes it super easy to apply. Comparing it with another similar product i would say it is similar to the Double Wear BB Brush-On Glow by Estée Lauder looks wise but the one from MAC is a little less expensive and doesn't crease on me.

Rimmel Brow This Way Brow Palette in the shade Dark Brown &
Benefit Gimme Brow Gel in the shade Medium/Deep -
This was my holy grail go-to eyebrow duo for 2015 and it will more than likely stay that way in 2016 also, as these two products together are just a perfect match for me. I have mentioned before it is hard to get a good dark brown shade in eyebrow products to match me as the majority can make my eyebrows appear with a red tint and the palette from Rimmel doesn't do that at all. The most amazing thing about this product is that it's super affordable at under £4. After filling in them brows it's all about setting them for me and i always alternate from Benefit Gimme Brow and Make Me Brows by Essence, which is a lot more affordable than the Benefit one. Saying that i do love both versions equally, it's just that i tend to reach for the Benefit one a lot more.

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser -
I have spoken about this product so much already on my blog and it is literally one of the best cleanser i have ever tried so far, so i just keep repurchasing it over and over. Saying this i have recently been using another one and i am also loving that. It literally gets rid of every scrap of makeup on your face as well as getting rid of any obviously unwanted blemishes. You simply just smear some all over your face and wash off with the muslin cloth that comes with the cleanser and you are done, so simple!

Dermalogica C-12 Pure Bright Serum -
Dermalogica products seem to be loved by many, but in all honesty none of them have ever done anything for me. This serum is to be used to help combat hyper pigmentation and balance uneven skintone (aka clear the skin of any scarring etc), this didn't work at all for me and i hated applying it as the scent is so unpleasant. I definitely won't be in a hurry to buy it again anytime soon.

L'Oreal Skin Perfection Serum -
This is a product that i always seem to go back to and purchase over and over again because it is great for adding instant hydration to your skin, bringing it back to life. The Skin Perfection range by L'Oreal is designed to be used for people in the 20-30's category, which obviously fit into perfectly. The only downside to this product is as it is in a pump form you can't get it all out.

Dove Derma Spa Goodness Hand Cream -
If i was to marry a hand cream (i would firstly be insane) but i would want to marry this one by Dove. I am completely obsessed with how amazing this range is and i also can't stop using the matching body lotion. The way a tiny amount leaves your hands feeling velvety soft and a lot more healthy looking, i know that sounds crazy because it's our hands but they are usually the thing that get's used the most, so they need to be taking care of. Thanks Dove for creating this range, gold star for you.

LUSH Santa's Lip Scrub -
If you have read many of my post's before you will already know that the lip scrubs by Lush are something i use so often, because let's face it who hates having chapped/dry lips? I know i don't and especially as i wear some sort of lip product on a daily basis. These come in several different flavours and they all taste amazing but this one along side the bubblegum flavour are constant favourites of mine. The annoying this about these is as you only need the smallest amount you can't use it all up before the use by date, as all Lush items are fresh made products and i hate waste.

I hope you enjoyed this very long yet very overdue empties post!
