FACE FRIDAY: "NO MAKEUP, MAKEUP" PRODUCTS

Hello Everyone and welcome to the first "Face Friday" of 2016. So like me if sometimes you are in a rush either first thing in a morning or you need to be somewhere fast like work or even school (where sometimes you necessarily shouldn't be wearing makeup) but still want to look put together all the same. By saying this for today's post i thought i would share with you all some of my favourite "no makeup makeup look" products what i always reach for and for an added bonus they are all affordable/drugstore items...

Rimmel Good To Glow Liquid Highlighter in the shade Notting Hill Glow -
Since discovering this product i barely ever go without using it as a base under my foundation, i just find that it really helps when wanting to achieve a natural/healthy glow to the skin. You can simply just apply a small amount and work it into your skin with your fingers, quick and easy.

L'Oreal Infallible 24-H Matte Foundation in the shade Vanilla -
I am obsessed with this foundation recently, since i have only just decided to give it a try even though so many other self confessed makeup addicts did a while back now. If you are looking for a foundation that has great coverage, lasts all day and doesn't feel heavy on the skin this foundation is a must try for you!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in the shade Fair -
Concealer is a must even if you decide to skip the foundation step, applying concealer to the under-eye area will brighten the surface making you appear so much more awake and will conceal any dark circles you might have lurking under there from late nights or lack of sleep.

L'Oreal Infallible 24H Matte Powder in the shade Warm Vanilla -
After applying all the products above, a next step must is setting it all down and making sure everything you already applied stays put and lasts a longer period of time.

Rimmel Brow This Way Palette in the shade Dark Brown & Essence Make Me Brows Brow Gel in the shade Browny Brows -
Brows are such an important step to achieving any look but just that one step further when a natural look, as your brows shape your faces appearance. You could either use both powder to fill in any sparse gaps in the brows and brow gel to set or simply just brush through a small amount of tinted brow gel to get a similar look.

NYX Highlight & Contour Palette -
This palette is pretty amazing as you can basically cover so many steps all from one place. Apply some of the Soft Light shade all over the lid as a simple eyeshadow/but no eyeshadow look, apply the shade Cream to set the under-eye area or simply to brighten even more. Tan and Sculpt can both be used to bronze/naturally contour your face.

L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Mascara in the shade Black -
Apply either a generous or small coat of mascara (down to preference) to both top and bottom lashes, this will make your eyes appear more open and stand out more.

Essence Kajal Eye Pencil in the shade White -
By using a white eyeliner or any flesh toned eyeliner is going to make your eyes look super awake and bright even if you are still half asleep in theory, It is also always a good idea to reach for those shades of eyeliner over black as they are way more natural looking when trying to achieve that "no makeup, makeup look".

KIKO Colour Veil Blush in the shade 01 -
Simply just by adding blush you are giving some colour back into your cheeks, after applying foundation/powder before. This blush by KIKO is perfect for any natural look as it is the most beautiful yet natural shade of pink, with a tiny hint of shimmer for that natural glow to the cheeks,

Rimmel Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Liner in the shade Eastend Snob -
The lip part of the makeup look is pretty much down to preference, you could simply once completing the rest of the look apply some clear/tinted lip balm. Unless you are like me and you do like that something extra, the lip liner is perfect for that as it is a your lips but better shade as well as being very long lasting without feeling dry when applying all over the lip.

As i mentioned in my first blog post of 2016 i am making it my goal to be a much more positive person in all things. Another goal i wanted to work towards is by blogging about more affordable/accessible things/products, so saying this next week i will be back with another "affordable beauty week" which i first did back in September last year.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend!
