AFFORDABLE BEAUTY WEEK: EYESHADOW IN A RUSH

Hello Everyone and Happy Monday! In my previous post i mentioned that a goal of mine was to create more posts for you all that included more affordable/accessible and that this week's set of post's would be "affordable beauty week". The last time i did this type of themed week was back in September last year and it proved to be quite popular, as well as that i really enjoyed creating them for you all. So without me rambling on for too long let's get into things, kicking off the first post discussing all things eyeshadow in a rush...

When it comes to doing our makeup a lot of us have two different moods, the first being taking almost two whole hours creating a full face of makeup, with a cut crease eye-look along side winged liner and the second being i really can't be bothered but i need to look semi-presentable but fast. So just hypothetically let's go with the second option, there are so many different eyeshadow's in all forms available what look stunning by itself and you can just simply apply in a matter of seconds.

Milani Shadow Eyez in the shade 03 Champagne Toast -
First up we have the stick form eyeshadow option, where you can simply just draw the amount you want onto your eye lids and just blend out using either your finger or a blender brush. These ones from Milani are by far my favourite that i have ever tried, especially this shade as it is the perfect everyday/champagne pink colour. Two other bonus's to these are that they are under £5 and they also last all day without creasing or smudging. Another tip for all my fellow UK people, if you have always wanted to get a hold of any Milani products (as shops in the uk don't stock the brand) you can get a hold of the brand online easy at either beautyjoint or beautycrowd.

KIKO Cream Crush Eyeshadow in the shade 06 Pearly Chocolate -
If you have read many of my previous post's you will probably already know how obsessed with these cream crush eyeshadow's i am, so it will come to no surprise that i had to mention one of them. This shade is a newer one to my collection i am building up of them and it probably the one that looks absolutely stunning by itself, i just can't get enough of it.

L'Oreal Color Riche Mono Eyeshadow in the shade 201 Café St Germain -
Where do i even start when it comes to the formula of these eyeshadow's by L'Oreal, except for the fact they have amazing pigmentation, long-wearing and probably one of the most buttery soft powder eyeshadow's i have ever tried. This particular shade is a beautiful taupe colour and an almost dupe for Satin Taupe by MAC (another eyeshadow i love to wear by itself), the only difference is that i think the L'Oreal ones are almost that bit better because of the buttery formula.

NYX Hot Single Eyeshadow in the shade HS13 Coquette -
These eyeshadows are the most affordable ones of the bunch coming in at only £3.50 and i got my hands on mine from Feel Unique rather than the NYX site as it is just easier and faster shipping. I have around four of these eyeshadow's in total now and i want to continue to build my collection, as i love them that much. This shade i tried to purchase on several occasion's but it was forever sold out, so it must be a popular shade to many. This shade is perfect for just simply applying all over the lid and blending out as well as being the perfect transition shade in the crease.

Maybelline Color Tattoo 24HR Cream Eyeshadow in the shade 35 On and On Bronze -
Before the cream crush eyeshadow's from KIKO came along these cream eyeshadow's by Maybelline were my absolute favourite (also another product loved by many), These eyeshadow's make a perfect shade either by themselves or as a base for other shadows on top. I still always continue to reach for this shade as it is my type of shade, i love me some neutral's/bronze/gold shades.
