FEBRUARY BEAUTY & RANDOM FAVOURITES

Hello Everyone and Happy Friday! I can't actually believe that i am saying this but... March is just a few days away and we won't be long before we are heading into spring (if the weather decides to be good to us ha ha). So typically what do we discuss at the end of every month? Yep, you got it favourites...

Nivea Men Aftershave Balm in Sensitive -
If you have ever seen/heard or watched Nikkie Tutorials aka the queen of everything makeup, then you will know that this product is probably used more by women now than men. The reason for that is it acts as an amazing primer and the perfect base for your makeup, it makes everything just apply easier and makes it last all day. I am totally sold and can't but it down, another bonus to this product is that it is so inexpensive and will last for ages.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in the shade Dark Brown -
I apologize to my beloved Rimmel Brow This Way kit as i have instantly replaced you with this slaying the eyebrow game amazing product. I had initially gone on beautybay to get the brow definer but they didn't have my shade, so on a whim i just went ahead and purchased the pomade instead and i am so glad i did. Since using this product i feel as if my brows not only last so much longer but also look a lot more precise and put together.

Maybelline The Falsies Push-Up Drama Mascara -
When i first tried out this new mascara by Maybelline, my first words word "wow you killed the mascara game Maybelline". I have always been a fan of their mascara's and in the past i have tried the majority of the different ones, for the longest time i thought the Lash Sensational one would always be my favourite of them all but no this one is. All there is to say about it is firstly, you need to try it and second of all it lengthens, volumizes in matter of seconds and it doesn't clump at all.

Nip+Fab Dragon's Blood Fix Cleansing Pads -
I have recently switched up my skincare routine and these things do wonders for my pores, which i mentioned in my recent "2016 skincare routine" which you can check out here for my details about all the products that i am loving at the moment:

Zoeva Pink Spectrum Blush Palette -
I have always been a fan of Zoeva blushes, as they are crazy pigmented, gorgeously formulated. as well as being pretty affordable too. So naturally when they bought out their Spectrum Palette range, i had to pick one up to try and i wasn't disappointed. I did a in-depth blog post about the palette, that you can check out here:

Maybelline 24HR Color Tattoo Matte in the shade Créme De Nude -
Another product that i have always been a fan of and then they bought out this Matte collection. This specific shade Créme De Nude happens to be the most perfect dupe for the MAC Paint Pot in the shade Soft Ochre, it is perfect for applying as a base for any eyeshadow look. I now apply this every single time i wear makeup, i just find that it makes apply any shadow on top so much more pigmented and easier to blend out/blend together.

MAC Pigment in the shade Tan -
I did a post previously on my "current go-to makeup look" and this is one of the things i have been wearing on my eyes constantly this month. It is literally one of those pigments you can either wear it by itself and it looks stunning, or even with a slightly darker matte transition shade in the crease.

Sleek Matte Me Ultra Smooth Matte Lip Cream in the shade Petal -
I have really been loving wearing pinkish lips this month and this is probably one of the shades i have been reaching for constantly, the formula is really lightweight and not drying in the slightest on the lips, as well as it being a long wearing product.

MAC Lip Liner in the shade Soar -
I really like the combination of this lip liner and then the Sleek Matte Me Lip Cream on top, they just compliment each other so well. So this month i have either been wearing one or the other or even both together, all depending on my current mood.

MAC Cream Colour Base in the shade Pearl -
In the pan this looks like one of the most boring/plain product shades ever, but don't let that fool you because this product when applied is simply stunning. As it says in the title it is a cream based product and my favourite ways to use it are as a base for a powder highlight, which makes any highlight look that extra bit more reflective. Another way i like to wear it is also in the inner corners of the eyes, it just pops and makes your eyes look instantly brighter and more awake.

OPI Hello Kitty Nail Lacquer in the shade Super Cute in Pink -
I still can't get over how bloody cute the packaging is for this limited edition range and also how beautiful this shade looks on the nails. I have been switching between this shade and another one which i will get onto next, i also did a "mani monday" post featuring this nail polish here:

Barry M Nail Paint in the shade Ballerina -
This is the other nail polish i have been reaching for this month, which happens to be yet another stunning pink shade but obviously a little more on the pastel side compared to the OPI one. Barry M nail polishes are always a winner for me, they are so inexpensive, have great shade ranges and great staying power.

Zoeva 317 Wing Liner Brush -
This is the first of two new brushes i have been loving this month and both are new to my excessive collection of brushes. Lately rather than applying eyeliner in pen form i have been opting for either a gel product or a shadow, which needs to be applied using a brush and just prefer to do eyeliner that way now i am a complete covert. Getting to the point this brush makes doing that so easy and effortless, it's just the perfect angle to create both and perfect line and flick also.

Freedom Flat Contour Brush -
This brush came included with the cream strobe contour palette by Freedom and that didn't work out too well for me as the shades were a little too warm for a contour of my liking, on the other hand the brush that came with it is amazing for getting that perfect/precise contour definition and it has made me push my other favourite contour brush to the curb.

Random Favourites:

Music: So let's kick things off with music and this month i have been loving so many different songs. The number one favourite song for me this month has to be Pillow Talk by Zayn, this song is so addictive and just amazing in so many different ways. Second of all we have that much talked about song from Queen B herself, Formation another catchy song that will stick around in your head for hours on end. I have also been loving the Eventually EP by Eric Bellinger this month especially a song called Repeat, although i like all of the songs included. It is much better as i was kind of disappointed with his Cuffing Season 2 album, there was only a few i liked unlike the first Cuffing Season album which i was and still am obsessed with.
TV: I know i mentioned Shadowhunters in last month's but i just had to mention this show again, i am obsessed with how good this show is and everyone happens to be ridiculously attractive. Another show that i have started watching this month is The Fall, i have held off from watching this show for some time as i love me some Jamie Dornan and i didn't want to see him as this type of character he is in this show. Saying this i am really glad i have because it is such a gripping show and it hasn't ruined my perception of him.
