L'OREAL INFALLIBLE SCULPT: BASE PRODUCTS REVIEW

Hello Everyone and Happy Monday! So this post has been a couple of weeks in the making, as last week was in fact this month's "themed week". Saying that it has worked out better as today i am bringing you a review and as i have had these products for a couple of weeks now, i have been able to try them out a little bit more than i initially would before giving my opinion on something...

So let's get into things, the three items from the Infallible Sculpt range i have been trying out are all of the face products. First up we have the Contouring Base foundation and this is suppose to add a light coverage/even out the skin ready for contouring. The base product is suppose to allow applying/blending contouring products on top a lot easier. Next we have the Contour/Highlight Palette, which is a cream to powder formula and designed to be applied after the Contouring Base. The light shade in the palette is designed to highlight the cheekbones, forehead and chin, then the contour shade is for the hollows of the cheeks as well as the temples. Finally we have the Blush Sculpt Trio Contouring Blush palette, this contains three different "blush" shades which can be used swirled all together for a natural look or even individually for a more precise glow. The lightest shade in the blush palette is also the perfect shade for being used as a highlighter.

L'Oreal Infallible Sculpt Contouring Base in the shade 01 Light - £8.99 GBP
L'Oreal Infallible Sculpt Contouring Palette in the shade 01 Light/Medium - £9.99 GBP
L'Oreal Blush Sculpt Trio Contouring Blush in the shade 102 Nude Beige - £7.99 GBP

The Look:

So this is look i created using the three products from above. My first impression of the final look is that i really like how fresh and natural it looks, as well as literally feeling like nothing on the skin. First of all after priming i applied some of the Contouring Base Foundation as if i would any other foundation, i was so surprised at even though it states it's a light coverage product how well it actually covered up and evened out my skin tone. Next i went in with a concealer just to conceal/brighten under my eyes before setting those areas. I then moved onto the Highlight/Contour Palette, first of all i tried it out with a flat contour brush but that didn't really work as well with the product so i switched to a buffing brush from Real Techniques and that worked wonders. I have always been scared of cream contour products but this is definitely the one for me, it is simply stunning and my favourite product from the three. I also applied a small amount of the highlight shade to the center of the forehead, nose and chin. Finally we have the Trio Contouring Blush Palette and i went with the darkest peachy shade in the palette, simply applying it to the apples of my cheeks. I learned that this blush is more pigmented than i first thought, unlike when it came to using the lightest shade to highlight i found that wasn't pigmented enough for me. My over all thoughts on these products as you can probably tell that i am completely sold, especially with the Highlight/Contour palette.

Just in case you were wondering on my eyes is Mythology eyeshadow from MAC all over the lid and on my lips is MAC lipstick in the shade Sunny Seoul and Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss in the shade Sunset Strip over the top, for a super glossy look.
