DRUGSTORE WEEK: MY FAVOURITE NUDE GLOSSES

Hello Everyone and Happy Monday! For this weeks set of posts i thought i would discuss all things drugstore makeup, including some of my favourite products/looks etc. To kick things off, i thought i would share with you a selection of my go-to/favourite lip glosses available at the drugstore. Nude lips are my thing (if you hadn't already noticed) so it wasn't an easy task narrowing it down to just a few...

Milani Brilliant Shine Lip Gloss in the shade Bare Secret -
I know this product isn't available to pick up in a Boots or Superdrug in the UK, as it is in fact a drugstore brand in the US but it is still super affordable and quite easy to get a hold of if you are from the UK or other countries. I get my Milani products from Beauty Joint online and these glosses retail for just under £5 (all depending on the exchange rate at the time). Getting down to the actual formula of these glosses, they are definitely a more opaque gloss so not just a slight wash of sheer colour. They are long wearing on the lips, not sticky, they don't fade patchy or anything like that and they come in a bunch of different shades.

LA Girl Glazed Lip Paint in the shade Elude -
This is another American drugstore brand but they are available on Beauty Bay and they retail for £4, which is a bargain for such a great product. These glosses come in a squeeze tube rather than your usual gloss with a dofus applicator but they still apply evenly, whether you use your finger or a lip brush. Like the Milani lip glosses these are also more of an opaque gloss and come in a ton of gorgeous shades, this one has to be my favourite by far as it is the most perfect pinky/nude shade.

L'Oreal Infallible Mega Glosses in the shades Protest Queen, Girl On Top & Disco Ball -
As you can tell from this picture this particular formula of gloss is a firm favourite, especially when it comes to the nude shades. These glosses come in several different finishes, the shades Protest Queen and Girl On Top are a cream formula and the shade Disco Ball is a dazzle formula. The shade Protest queen is a creamy/milky pink nude, the shade Girl On Top is more of a sheer baby pink shade and the shade Disco Ball is more of a golden nude with specks of glitter inside. These glosses retails for £6.99 at Boots/Superdrug and come in a ton of different shades.

NYX Butter Glosses in the shade shades Éclair & Vanilla Cream Pie -
These glosses are another firm favourite of mine and they have been for so many years now, the thing about these glosses is that they are super easy wearing and are that perfect handbag gloss. The consistency is super smooth, easy to apply and they smell so amazing like desserts (hint the titles of the glosses are all dessert names). The shade Éclair is the most gorgeous pinky/nude/beige shade and then the shade Vanilla Cream Pie is more like a pure creamy pink based nude. These lip glosses retail for £5 and are available in-store and online at Boots.

Tanya Burr Lip Gloss in the shade Lunch Date -
When describing the perfect nude shade for me this lip gloss sums that up, as it is the most gorgeous beige/pink toned nude shade. This particular shade from her range is definitely more of a sheer finish but i suppose that comes with it being more of a pale shade. These glosses don't feel sticky on the lips and are super easy to apply, definitely another perfect handbag gloss. These retail for £5.99 from Superdrug or Feel Unique online.
