AFFORDABLE LIP PICKS FOR AUTUMN

Hello Everyone and Happy Friday! Seeing as we are now into September and summer is almost over, i decided to go through my collection and select some lip products that are perfect for the autumn time. I found this super exciting because as well as summer, autumn is in fact one of my favourite seasons from pumpkin spice lattes to crunchy leaves, scented candles and obviously a darker lip option or two...

L'OREAL INFALLIBLE MEGA MATTE GLOSS IN THE SHADE SMOKE ME UP -

I love love love red lip colours but personally i find that there is only a select few that actually suit me, for some strange reason. If you have read my posts for a while then you will know i already love the L'Oreal Infallible Mega Gloss's and this particular shade is one of the matte formulas, this shade is more of a berry red which tends to suit me more than a true red. These retail for £6.99, are available in 23 different shades (at boots/superdrug) and come in three different finishes.

NYX SOFT MATTE LIP CREAM IN THE SHADE MANILA -

This particular lip colour could pass for a summer red as well as an autumnal red as it is more of a coral red, which is another type of red that actually works for me. The soft matte lip creams are super comfortable to wear, which is probably why i own so many and the colour range/pigmentation is amazing. These retail for £5.50, are available in 34 different shades that range from nude to dark.

NYX LIQUID SUEDE CREAM LIPSTICK IN THE SHADE SOFT SPOKEN -

I mentioned this lip colour in my August favourites post and about how perfect it would be as an autumnal inspired lip colour. I really like how comfortable these are to wear just like the soft matte lip creams but obviously these are more of a liquid formula. This shade in particular is the most gorgeous mid-rose/brown almost brick shade very similar to whirl from MAC. These retail for £6.50 and are available in 12 shades. 

MAYBELLINE COLOR DRAMA IN THE SHADE STRIPPED DOWN -

This is a new in product that i spotted in Superdrug recently and i must say i am never the biggest fan of Maybelline lip products, which might come as a surprise seeing as i love pretty much all of their other products. That being said i actually really like this lip product, the colour is very similar to the one by NYX but i would say this is one maybe two shades lighter. The applicator is super similar to the Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipsticks but slightly smaller. These retail for £4.99 and are available in 5 shades.

NYX SOFT MATTE LIP CREAM IN THE SHADE LONDON -

Another soft matte lip cream but this time in the shade London, which is the most perfect light brown nude shade and is one of those shades you can just throw on and are good to go. Like i mentioned with the shade Manila, the soft matte lip creams are super easy/comfortable to wear. These also retail for £5.50 and are available in 34 shades. I also saw on Instagram that NYX are launching two new shades of the soft matte lip creams and the shade Los Angeles looks stunning.

 PRIMARK LIP LINER PENCILS -

(TOP TO BOTTOMS SHADES: WINE, BROWN AND BERRY)

I first mentioned these bargain lip liners in my august product switch up post, the quality of these lip liners is amazing and they come in so many different shade ranges. The shade wine is the most perfect red/purple almost burgundy colour, the shade brown is the perfect warm toned brown shade that looks stunning paired with honey love by MAC and then the shade berry is this muted purple/dark rose pink shade. These retail for only £1 and are available in most if not all Primark stores.
