RIDE OR DIE MAKEUP TAG: PART ONE

Hello Everyone and Happy Monday! I have seen this "ride or die makeup tag" floating around for a couple of weeks now and it is a tag created by the amazing Jaclyn Hill. The aim of the tag is to get you to select your holy grail/ride or die products that you always go for/go back to, from foundation right down to lip products. So i decided to go through my collection and select my personal ride or die products, some products were easy to choose, some not so much but i finally narrowed it down. I thought i would split this post into two parts, as i will be discussing my reason for choosing each product...

RIMMEL GOOD TO GLOW HIGHLIGHT IN THE SHADE SOHO GLOW -
This particular product has been a go-to product for me used as a primer for the past couple of years, i always used to opt for the shade Notting Hill Glow but now i always gravitate towards Soho Glow more. I just love how it gives the most natural all over glow to the skin and it is super affordable.

ESTÉE LAUDER DOUBLE WEAR FOUNDATION IN THE SHADE 2N1 -
I just couldn't not pick this foundation for this post and if you have read my posts from pretty much day one, then you will know this is a firm favourite as it just never lets you down. This foundation has a medium/full coverage, is sweat proof, shine proof, basically a bullet proof foundation.

MAYBELLINE ANTI-AGE REWIND CONCEALER IN THE SHADE LIGHT -
This is a product that i wouldn't like to say how many tubes i have gone through over the years and thankfully for this image i had a new one, because the previous one looked like it had seen better days. This concealer is super hydrating, full coverage and because of its applicator easy to blend out as when you apply it, it blends some of the product out for you as you apply.

URBAN DECAY NAKED SKIN CONCEALER IN THE SHADE LIGHT NEUTRAL -
I had to mention this concealer also, as i love it equally to the one shown above and i just couldn't choose the one being the concealer junkie that i am. This is one of those products that pretty much everyone loves, i have honestly never seen a bad word said about this product. It is super lightweight feeling, yet super full coverage, brightening and easy to blend out.

L'OREAL INFALLIBLE 24H MATTE POWDER IN THE SHADE WARM VANILLA -
So far for the base products the decisions were pretty easy to make, then it came down to choosing a powder. I was stuck to either choose this one, Rimmel Stay Matte or the NYX HD Studio finishing powder and i decided in the end to go with this one. It is a powder that adds a tiny bit more coverage to your skin but doesn't look cakey at all and it keeps those areas that tend to get shiny matte all day long.

NARS BRONZING POWDER IN THE SHADE LAGUNA -
Another product that if you have been reading my posts for a long time, you will already know that i would choose this bronzer as my ride or die. It is honestly just the most beautiful bronzer i have ever tried/always go back to, it just works as it is the most gorgeous almost diffused brown/bronze shade that isn't fully matte nor fully shimmery either and is one that would work for every single skin tone.

NARS ILLUMINATING BLUSH IN THE SHADE ALBATROSS -
This was probably the second hardest decision to make next to deciding an eyeshadow palette, which was the hardest one to make. I am such a highlighter junkie and i have so many firm favourites in my collection but i decided it was only right to go with an OG favourite, this one is super pigmented and although in the pan it looks white once on the skin it gives the most beautiful golden shimmery glow.

SLEEK POWDER BLUSH IN THE SHADE ROSE GOLD -
Deciding what blush to choose for this post was super easy, even though i have so many blushes to choose from. This is the most beautiful shimmery golden rose/pink blush shade and the identical dupe for Orgasm blush by NARS. If i am unsure on what blush to go for i always gravitate between this one and then the shade palace door from the Zoeva rose golden blush palette.

Don't forget to stay tuned for Wednesday's blog post as i will be sharing all of my ride or die brow, eyeshadow (which was super hard), liner, lashes and lip products.
