CHRISTMAS COMES EARLY: YANKEE CANDLE HAUL

Hello Everyone! So a few posts back i did a high-street homeware picks post (which you can catch here: HIGHSTREET HOMEWARE PICKS FOR AUTUMN/WINTER) and in that post i mentioned that autumn/winter candle scents were a favourite of mine. After sharing a specific Yankee Candle from their new Festive range, it really made me want to place an order for a candle or two. All that i have to restrain from doing now is to not burn them all, until at least the middle or the end of November...

When it comes to Christmas or more specifically Christmas candles, i am all about the baking/sweet treats scents. Snowflake Cookie is great if you love this type of fragrance but aren't a huge fan of the sweet vanilla notes. Tea lights are a great way of sampling a smell of a candle, as well as using for decoration inside of a tea light holder/ornament which look so homely dotted around. Snowflake Cookie is definitely more of a modern fragrance over your typical traditional Christmas scent.

You are probably thinking, why have Snowflake Cookie and Christmas Cookie? Well because both scents are actually quite different, as i mentioned before Snowflake Cookie doesn't have the sweet vanilla notes and Christmas Cookie does. I decided to opt for a medium jar of Christmas Cookie, as it is literally in the top two of my favourite Christmas scents ever. This candle is great if you love those sweet, rich, vanilla scents and also the shade of the candle is neutral perfect for any room colour scheme.

Candy Cane Lane since last year became my favourite Christmas scent, hence the reason for a large jar and tea lights (plus i still have a couple of sampler's left from last year). Candy Cane Lane's fragrance is mixture of peppermint and sweet vanilla/cookie/biscuit scent. I must admit it is quite a strong smelling candle, but it isn't too over powering. This candle also looks perfect thrown in for a traditional red themed Christmas decoration scheme.

So finally we have the new Christmas candle i was talking about at the beginning of the post, i have been so excited to see what this candle was like and i had to burn it straight away (i just couldn't wait). All Is Bright is one of four from their new festive range, it is the most beautiful citrus-y fresh fragrance with a slight hint of warm musk notes. This is also another candle that would go with pretty much any colour schemed room. Now that i have been burning the candle, i wish i had picked up a larger jar.
