SKINCARE ROUTINE: CLEANSE/HYDRATE

Hello everyone! So last week i shared with you all the first instalment of an updated skincare routine, by talking about two key products in my evening skincare routine. That being said for today's post i thought i would talk about all things makeup removing/cleansing and face masks, as part of the cleanse stage of my skincare routine. The moisturising stage of my skincare routine in the morning time is pretty much the same as what i mentioned in a previous skincare post, where i talked about four skincare products i can't put down.

So i have mentioned these particular face wipes on many occasion now, in fact i don't buy any other kind except for these as they are my favourites. As they are more of an exfoliating wipe they remove so much makeup from the surface, which is great for those in a hurry or any lazy moments. Even though they are more of an exfoliating wipe, they are in no way harsh on the skin.

Last month i mentioned how obsessed i had been with the manuka doctor apinourish hydrating facial cleanser, which i am still am but i am currently all out of until i make another online order. Until then i have been giving the new pure clay cleansers a try from L'Oreal, which are the cleanser version of the face masks that they released last year. Out of the two i have i do favour the glow scrub cleanser, as i feel as you get a deeper cleanse and your skin is left feeling/looking hydrated.

Months have passed since i first tried these masks out and i have not missed a week of using one of these, in fact i always keep a good stock of them. They are the type of face mask, perfect if you are needing/wanting a super quick hydration fix as the results are instant. I always use one of these a week (usually mid-week) and then another type of mask in-between (at the weekend).

So just like the cleanser, the pure clay glow is my favourite out of all of the masks for the exact same reasons. The formula of this mask leaves your face feeling/looking brighter, exfoliates without drying the skin out and because of the clay it will help illuminate/draw out any imperfections. This is the mask i will use more towards the weekend, along side another one that i switch from all depending what i feel my skin needs at that specific time.

This is the other mask i tend to reach for at the weekend, if i still feel my skin needs instant hydration as this one does just that in a similar way to the tissue mask. Rather than being a heavy clay/cream texture, this mask is more of a clear gel that can be left on for either 10 minutes or even over night for a more intense treatment. This particular mask is also great for anti-ageing as it contains wrinkle plumping ingredients.
