LIQUID GLOW FOR UNDER £7: BARRY M LIQUID CHROME

Hello everyone! It is no secret that i am a self-diagnosed highlighter wearer/hoarder, so whenever there is a new product launching i am down for getting my hands on it asap. With that in mind and seeing as Barry M have launched a new collection of liquid highlighters, i thought why not pick one up and give you my first impressions. I also have the perfect budget friendly powder highlighter, to take that glow to the next level.

When i first started out with makeup, i was super scared to even go anywhere near liquid illuminators/highlighter or cream contour products but i did manage to push past that and now i am just like what was i even worried for. There are so many different liquid highlighters out there that are so easy to work with, which is great for beginners and those who prefer a much more natural looking highlight. So for me Barry M is such a under-rated brand when it comes to makeup, because so many of us just associate the brand with nail polishes and myself included also did this for a while. That being said i gave a fair few of their makeup items a go, i wasn't disappointed with any of them so far and these liquid chrome highlighter drops are no different. Just like many other highlighter drops this product also comes with a pipette applicator, which allows you the ultimate control when it comes to applying the product to the areas you wish. That being said the only negative thing i have to say about the product is the way the pipette works, you have to really squeeze the lid to suck up enough product, maybe that is because the consistency is a lot thicker than some liquid products but once you have done that, it does disperse well so you can't really complain too much.

Moving onto the actual formula of the product, which gives your skin the most beautiful natural looking healthy glow as the texture/finish is more radiant than sparkly/glittery. The product blends out flawlessly, easily and more important evenly which is good because everybody dreads something that blends out patchy. My favourite way to apply/blend is by dotting the product to the highest points of my cheeks, tip of my nose and cupids bow before bouncing the product in with a damp beauty blender. These liquid chrome highlighting drops are available in five different shades, moon potion (blue), at first light (rose gold), precious pearl (pink), beam me up (light gold) and liquid fortune (bronze). Also whilst on the subject of budget glow/highlighting products, i just thought i would mention how amazing these MUA undress your skin highlighters look either worn alone or on top of the liquid chrome to set it into place and i still can't get over the fact these are only £3. So much so i pretty much own every single shade now, apart from the black/blue toned ones (they are a little crazy for me). I have previously done a full review on these highlighters, which you can catch here if you haven't done so already.
