CUSTOM CREATING MY PERFECT NEUTRALS PALETTE

Hello Everyone and Happy Friday! The other day i tweeted saying that i had finally made a purchase i had been meaning to do for the longest time and i am so late to jump on this. Getting to the point i finally purchased some Makeup Geek eyeshadows, these eyeshadows are talked about/loved by pretty much everyone in the beauty community and now i can see for myself why. In total i purchased five Makeup Geek shadows, they are all shades that i have been drawn to the most/wanted to try out the most and shock horror they are the neutrals. So when my BeautyBay order came in, i was just playing around with them in a Z Palette and i also added some other favourite pan shadows of mine, to create my idea of a perfect neutrals palette...

So these are the nine different shadows i decided to put into my Z Palette, which i also purchased in the same BeautyBay order, along side some other bits. I decided to get a Z Palette as they are super simple to store your pan eyeshadows, the bottoms are magnetised and are so much easier to switch and swap about unlike the pro palettes that i own from MAC. This particular size of Z Palette is the small size which retails for £8.95, i just thought this would be super handy for travelling and like you can see it fits nine shadows.

1. MAKEUP GEEK SHIMMA SHIMMA
First up we have the shade Shimma Shimma, which is the most gorgeous metallic champagne shade and is perfect for highlighting those inner corners and brow bone for me personally. If you read my previous blog post, you will know that an inner corner highlight is a must do for me.

2. MAKEUP GEEK PEACH SMOOTHIE
Next up we have the shade Peach Smoothie, which is this beautiful/summery light peachy matte shade and is perfect as a light transitional shade/to aid blending out harsh lines. I think this would look stunning used as part of a warm peachy/dark bronze eye look.

3. MAKEUP GEEK CRÉME BRULEE
Next is probably my favourite purchase of the whole bunch, which is the ever so famous shade called Créme Brulee. This is the most perfect matte medium almost beige shade for the crease, it almost has this sandy bronze tint to it similar to a bronzer and they are also perfect for doing that job.

4. MAKEUP GEEK FRAPPÉ
Another gorgeous medium matte shade in the form of a warm brown, in the shade Frappé. This would be the perfect shade as an all over shade for that wash of colour blended out and also to add some extra dimension to the crease area. Also super pigmented and buttery soft/easy to blend.

5. MAKEUP GEEK MOCHA
The last shade from Makeup Geek is the shade called Mocha, which is perfectly named and describes this shade perfectly. It is the most gorgeous deep matte brown shade (coffee coloured), this would be amazing for creating a smokey eye look or even an eyebrow shade for some.

6. MORPHE BRUSHES COAL
So i decided to get this shade in loose pan form, as i use this shade in particular so much for a softer upper lash line look (rather than using a liquid/gel liner) but i only had this particular black in palette form and obviously they can't be de-potted. This shade is basically just a matte black shade and placing the pan version in a palette is so much easier than carrying around a huge palette. Morphe palettes in general are super in-expensive for such amazing quality and this loose shadow was £1.95.

7. MAC COSMETICS NYLON
Another shade that i love and that is perfect for creating that bright inner corner highlight/brow bone look. This is the shade Nylon and it is the most stunning pigmented pale gold shade, with almost an icy effect finish and it is a frost finish. Such an oldie but a goodie!

8. MAC COSMETICS ALL THAT GLITTERS
This is a perfect lid shade to complete any neutral eye look, that you don't want to look completely matte. This is the shade All That Glitters, it is this beautiful light beige shade with gold pearl reflex incorporated and it is a veluxe pearl finish. If you want this to look super intense, use a little setting spray to your brush and that will make the shadow pop a lot more.

9. MAC COSMETICS SABLE
Finally i just had to add my favourite MAC eyeshadow of all time, which is the shade called Sable. Sable is the most stunning golden shade with a hint of plum/pearly bronze (hence why it's a favourite of mine) and it is a frost finish, so it is perfect a put together yet easy all over the lid shade.
