WHAT I ATE IN A DAY

Hello everyone! Welcome back to another "what i ate in a day" post and the second one i have done this month. I am so proud of myself for not forgetting to do updated versions of this type of post, also if you want to check out any of my other recent "what i ate in a day" posts i will link them at the end of this post.

So this particular day was definitely a breakfast on the go type of breakfast and i always opt for a similar type of thing to eat when i do. That being said rather than having some type of yogurt, i tried one of these new blueberry flavoured muller rice five grains pots and it was so yummy. I also had one of these graze protein bites, which i have had before but in the cocoa vanilla flavour and i actually ended up preferring this flavour over that one. Finally i also had a coffee from Starbucks, because i am completely obsessed with ordering either a soy toffee nut latte or a soy gingerbread latte.

Lunch time and i am still trying to switch things up now and again, instead of having the same thing every single day. This day i had one of my favourite flavoured soups, which is butternut squash soup and this one also had coriander, cumin and chilli. This type of lunch is definitely the perfect winter lunch.

Dinner time and for once on a "what i ate in a day" i am not having pasta. In fact i had veggie burger which i have featured in a what i ate post before, i love these particular ones as they have a bunch of different veggies inside like pepper, carrot, sweetcorn, onion, green beans and spices. This time as i had only had soup for lunch, i had some sweet potato fries baked in the oven and some garden peas on the side.

WHAT I ATE IN A DAY

Hello everyone and welcome back to another "what i ate in a day" post! Earlier in the month i finally posted my first post like this of the year, which is crazy seeing as we are nine months into the year. Today's instalment is very much so an at home day, where i actually ate everything at home rather than a breakfast on the go, or lunch out. Also catch up on my last "what i ate in a day" post if you didn't so already here.

As i mentioned in my previous what i ate post i mentioned how i would sooner have something a little later once i have got ready for the day, rather than as soon as i wake up but as soon as i do wake up i always have a coffee. So for breakfast seeing as i am having it at home and not on the go, i decided to opt for some granola with berries, pumpkin seeds, cinnamon and almond milk.

For lunch i was really craving something on toast, so i decided to opt for scrambled egg. The toast i had was ciabatta bread which i grilled and then two free range eggs that i scrambled in a pan with chilli seeds, then to add some further chilli i topped it with more chilli flakes, dried parsley and some sweet chilli sauce - can you tell by now that i love anything chilli?

It was mid-afternoon and i was really craving something sweet for a snack, so i decided to have one of these danone light and free coconut greek style yogurts, another one of the graze cocoa vanilla protein bites that featured in my previous what i ate post and of course a coffee. Also how cute is my Sophie Allport heart mug, click to browse here.

Finally dinner time and shock horror on two different things, yes by chance i am having pasta again just like last times, i promise i don't have that every single day and second of all i am having chilli on something again. This particular pasta dish is super quick as it literally takes about 15 minutes, easy and tasty to make, especially if cooking isn't your strongest point (like me ha ha). I know pesto is a either love or hate thing but i love it, so i made mine with rigatoni pasta, olive oil, basil, garlic, parmesan cheese, pine nuts and topped with chilli flakes.

I hope you enjoyed another what i ate in a day post, i would also love to know what is your favourite type of pasta dish to eat?

WHAT I ATE IN A DAY

Hello everyone! Something i didn't even realise until i was prompted the other day, is how we are in September and i am still yet to do a "what i ate in a day" post this year. This is a type of post that i love to personally watch/read about myself, because lets face it who doesn't love food? and who doesn't love snooping at what other people are eating? With that in mind for today's post i thought i would share with you everything that i ate in a specific day, from breakfast, lunch and dinner.

A lot of the time now my breakfast is usually an on-the-go type of breakfast, as i would sooner have something a little later rather than straight away when i wake up, doing this fills me up until lunch rather than wanting something in-between. So for breakfast i had one of my favourite types of yogurt by SKYR and this was a blueberry and elderberry flavour, i love these yogurts as they are quite thick in consistency. I also had one of these Graze cocoa vanilla protein bites, which was my first time having this particular one and they are so yummy much like most of the Graze products. One of my favourite parts of breakfast is a smoothie or juice and i usually opt for a green juice, but they didn't have any this particular day so i had to go with a different one.

For lunch this particular day i ate out at Loch Fyne, which is a seafood restaurant. Seeing as i went there i just had to get my favourite thing to get whenever i go and i believe i have shared that in a previous post at some point. So as you can probably tell i opted for one of my favourite dishes to have and that is king prawn spaghetti, with roasted chilli oil, lemon and garlic. You could also choose a side to go with dish, so i decided to be naughty and double up on the carbs with some french fries ha (which i did share). I also had a desert which i completely failed on and forgot to take a picture for it, but i had créme brulée.

Seeing as i ate out at lunch time and had both a main and a desert, i didn't want too too much to eat in the evening time. So i decided to just have something that i have been loving having for lunch a lot recently and that is a veggie burger, these particular ones have a bunch of different veggies in from red pepper, peas, carrot to sweet potato, onion, beans and some spices.

I hope you enjoyed my first "what i ate" post in a long time and i hope to do more soon...
