MY EVERYDAY NUDE LIP COMBINATION

Hello everyone! So over the past few weeks i have been obsessed with my current everyday lip combination, so much so i have worn it everyday. Seeing as it has been a hot minute since i last shared a current favourite nude lip combination, i thought for today's post it would be the perfect opportunity to give you a little update...

For me when it comes to lip liners i always tend to favour MAC liners, as they are so fool proof and you know they are never going to let you down. They are a really easy to apply as the formula is perfect, as some lip liners can be too creamy and some can be too dry and this is the perfect in-between. My go-to shade everyday through-out the winter months has been Stripdown, as it is a slightly darker more brown/beige nude shade.

So for lipstick i have been reaching for one of my all time favourites from Charlotte Tilbury, which of course is the famous KKW. KKW for me is my perfect kind of nude, as it is light, creamy and has that beautiful pink/beige tone to it. I like to apply it on top of the Stripdown liner before blending the two together slightly with my finger, by doing this it creates the most beautiful beige nude lip look.

Finally to finish the look off is something that i have been loving ever since i picked it up a couple of weeks ago, which is this gorgeous lip topper by Revolution. What i love about lip toppers is they add that slight shine to your lips without leaving them feeling sticky and they can be worn either alone or on top of your lipstick of choice, as i do. I have the shade Luxurious, which is this beautiful sheer pink with gold glitter and it pairs so well with the lip liner/lipstick base underneath. I have also been reaching for a jelly highlighter from the same jewel collection and that is equally as stunning, especially for such an affordable brand.

FINALLY TRYING LIQUID LIPSTICKS BY ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS

Hello everyone! So if you are from the UK you will know that we have been able to get our hands on the majority of the products from Anastasia Beverly Hills, all except for the liquid lipsticks...until now that is. Earlier this year ABH finally launched a UK website, where you can buy every single product from the brand. This was super exciting to me and i was straight in there to try and finally get my hands on some liquid lipsticks, but there was a slight drama because all of the nude shades sold out in rapid speed and they seemed to be out of stock forever.

As i mentioned above the liquid lipsticks were obviously the most wanted items (just like i wanted them) which resorted in them selling out super quick and every time i checked the site over weeks to come, they were still out of stock. Anyway to cut a long story short, i happened to randomly click on the site for a link to post and what do you know, they were in stock...every single shade! First of all i did a little happy dance and second of all i placed two of the shades that i have been lusting after for so long, straight into my online cart.

So first up we have the shade called milkshake, which is described as a milk-y shade with a hint of peach and is honestly so beautiful. Obviously this particular shade is on the lighter end of the nude scale, so it is obviously not going to for everyone but i personally think this type of shade suits my colouring and everything like that. Moving onto the actual formula of the liquid lipstick, obviously they all have a rich matte finish that claims to be long-wearing yet comfortable to wear and honestly so far i am not disappointed in the slightest, so worth the wait. If you are from the UK, the shade milkshake retails for £20.

Obviously i always knew i wanted to get the shade milkshake, but the next shade was a toss up between this shade called naked and the shade pure hollywood. So what i had done previously is search a ton of different swatches online and i decided naked was 100% the shade for me, which i am so glad about now because it is honestly my perfect nude in a tube. I have the biggest feeling that this is going to be the satin ribbon lingerie liquid lipstick by NYX, go-to nude all over again and i won't be able to put it down. Just like the shade milkshake, naked is a peachy toned nude but a lot more nude with a slight beige base to it over the milky base that milkshake has. The formula is also a rich matte finish that is long wearing and if you are from the UK this shade also retails for £20.

MY GO-TO PERFECT NUDE LIP COMBINATION

Hello everyone! So if you have read my posts for a while now/know me in person, then you will already know that i am a nude lip kind of girl and a firm believer that not every nude is the same. The huge hint in post form that nude lip products dominate my lip product collection, is my makeup de-clutter/how i organise my makeup #2 post. With that in mind for today's post i thought i would share with you my foolproof/go-to nothing will fail me nude lip combination, that i tend to opt for on an everyday basis.

So when it comes to kick starting my perfect nude lip combination, i always have to start by using a lip liner to not only line the lips giving them definition but also i like to slightly overdraw my top lip. This particular formula of lip liner as it's title suggests is super long-wearing, which is something you need if you are going to overdraw your lips slightly. Moving on-to the actual shade of the liner, which i shared in my three go-to nude lip liners post and i mentioned how this lip liner is a warm toned nude, that will pair well with pretty much any other lip product applied over top. (RRP £15.50)

Moving on-to what i always opt for, lip colour-wise and that is usually a liquid lipstick. This particular liquid lipstick is a new favourite go-to of mine, from the nip+fab makeup range and a product that completely took me by surprise. The formula of this liquid lip is so lightweight and hydrating on the lips considering its matte formula, this is probably from the vitamin e and shea butter it is enriched with. What probably sold me the most with this liquid lip is that it is literally my idea of a perfect nude, as it is a pale pinky beige-toned nude. (RRP £7.95)

nyx lingerie liquid lipstick in the shade satin ribbon
I am such a huge fan of these lingerie liquid lipsticks by nyx, as my lip product collection shows and there is still a few new shades that i have my eye on. When they first launched in the uk i was quick to snap some up and of course i did a first impression/review post that proved to be a popular post. This particular shade though has always been a favourite of mine, as it is my kind of nude that pink-y nude shade with a slight beige undertone to it. The formula of these are super comfortable/long-wearing and they come in pretty every shade/undertone of nude you can think of, making them suitable for every skin-tone. (RRP £7)

anastasia beverly hills lip gloss in the shade gilded
When it comes down to my perfect nude lip combination, i always tend to go with lip liner followed by liquid lipstick and topped off with a gloss. This particular gloss by ABH has been a favourite of mine for a while, as it is that perfect semi-sheer gold shade and will complete pretty much any nude lip look. I love the formula of these glosses because they range from semi-sheer to opaque, they are long-wearing, non-sticky and apply smoothly/evenly. (RRP £16)

bareMinerals gen nude buttercream lipgloss in the shade far out
Finally we have my new favourite gloss at the moment/of all time, because once again it is that perfect pink-y nude with a slightly gold/shimmery finish to it and just like the ABH gloss, it pretty much pairs well with any other nude product. The formula of these glosses are so beautiful, comfortable to wear and very long-lasting, i just can't stop myself reaching for it. The thing i would say about this gloss is that it is slightly on the pale side of nude, so unlike some other nudes it wouldn't work as well for some skin-tones. (RRP £17)
