MY GO-TO BROWN/NUDE LIP LINERS

Hello everyone! So almost a year ago now i originally shared a dedicated post talking all about my three go-to nude lip liners, which you can catch up on here if you didn't do so first time around. That being said during this autumn/winter i have really been enjoying reaching for the slightly deeper/brown tone nude lip liners, to pair up with some of my favourite nude lipsticks. As if you didn't guess by now that i am such a nude lip lover and i barely wear anything but nudes, whether that be a matte, creme or gloss finish...

First up is probably the palest shade out of the four and also the most affordable, at just £2.50 from beautybay. I have tried and loved so many products by L.A girl in the past but this one definitely is my favourite, even though i have barely spoken about it in previous posts. This particular shade is more of a pinky/nude-brown colour, which allows this lip liner to go with pretty much any shade of nude applied on top. The formula of these lip liners are super easy to control, long-wearing and come in a wide range of different deeper shades.

Another great affordable brand of lip liners i love and so much so, i pretty much own every single lip liner by them. This particular shade Cappuccino is the perfect nude/brown colour, which always gives me serious 90's lip vibes. I always like to pair this lip liner with either Yash by MAC or the Nip+Fab liquid lipstick in the shade Biscuit, to create the perfect beige/brown nude lip look. If you prefer a slightly pinker nude/brown shade (cooler in tone) than Cappuccino, then the shade Tiramisu is the perfect shade.

If i was forced to get rid of all of my lip liners from every brand but one, then i would probably keep all of my MAC liners as even though i do love other brands, these are the ones i always go back to and i think it is simply because they nail everything in one pencil. Their liners are long-wearing, easy to apply and come in pretty much any colour you could think of. The shade Spice is the newest in my collection and one that has quickly become an all time favourite, as it is the perfect warmer nude/brown-ish shade. One of my favourite ways to wear this lip liner is actually by itself, which you can get away with when it comes to MAC lip liners and even though they will set you back £14 a pencil, they last a pretty long time.

Last but not least we have probably one of the most popular lip liner shades also from MAC, which is the shade Stripdown. Just like the L.A Girl Natural Creme lip liner, this shade is one of those that pretty much goes well with any other lip colour applied on top or by itself again. Stripdown is one of those perfect nude/beige brown-ish toned shades, which is one of my favourite tones to wear along side the shade Oh Honey! also by MAC and i have gone through a few of those.

EIGHT FILMS TO WATCH THIS VALENTINES DAY NIGHT

Hello everyone and Happy Valentines! So i have never been one of those people to go all out and do something spectacular on Valentines day, i would rather stay in and watch a film of two where it is warm. Saying that last night i was out in the freezing cold at the football, so tonight i will definitely be staying warm. With that in mind for today's post i thought i would do something slightly Valentines related non the less and share with you eight must watch films this Valentines night, whether that be with your loved one, friends or by yourself...

1. fifty shades movie marathon (nowtv fifty shades darker linked)
I have spoken so many times now how much of a fifty shades fan i am and of course this last weekend i was at the cinema watching the last instalment, which was so so so so good just like the other two movies and the books! Valentine's day is the perfect time to have a fifty shades marathon, especially with your girlfriends! (About the film: FSOG - Literature student Anastasia Steele's life changes forever when she meets handsome, yet tormented, billionaire Christian Grey. FSD - While Christian wrestles with his inner demons, Anastasia must confront the anger and envy of the women who came before her.)

2. afterburn aftershock (amazon video linked)
Sticking with the whole romance book turned movie, this time one from an amazing new service called PassionFlix (a little like a Netflix service) or you can watch on Amazon Video. This is a film from a book by one of my favourite authors Sylvia Day, called Afterburn Aftershock and it was everything as good if not more than the book so much so i watched it twice in one week. (About the film:Businesswoman Gia Rossi is determined to be successful in her new job, but when her ex lover Jax Rutledge waltzes back into her life, their passionate connection ignites not only in the boardroom, but the bedroom.)

3. hollywood dirt (amazon video linked)
Another film by the same PassionFlix service, also on Amazon Video and one i had never actually read the book before hand, but i love love loved the film! About the film: Based on the novel by Best Selling author Alessandra Torre, abandoned by his superstar wife, Cole Masten is Hollywood's Sexiest Bachelor. Arriving in small town, Georgia, to film a passion project, he meets Summer Jenkins. Sassy and strong willed, he casts her in his movie, resulting in an entertaining enemies-to-lovers scenario.)

4. the lucky one (amazon video linked)
If you are in the mood for a classic romantic love story, then The Lucky One is definitely one to watch and even more so if you are a fan of Nicholas Sparks books turned films in general. Definitely one needed to be watched with a tissue or two. (About the film: A Marine travels to Louisiana after serving three tours in Iraq and searches for the unknown woman he believes was his good luck charm during the war.)

5. the age of adaline (netflix linked)
This is a film i only watched for the first time recently and i felt like i went into watching it not expecting much, but i absolutely loved every minute of it and i might of cried a little bit ha. (About the film: A young woman, born at the turn of the 20th century, is rendered ageless after an accident. After many solitary years, she meets a man who complicates the eternal life she has settled into.)

6. the best of me (netflix linked)
Another film also taken from a novel by Nicholas Sparks and another tear filled love story, which has a bitter sweet ending. Definitely one to watch, if you loved The Notebook, then you will love this. (About the film: A pair of former high school sweethearts reunite after many years when they return to visit their small hometown.)

7. the wedding planner (amazon video linked)
Next up is a throwback to the early 00's and a film that i just have to watch whenever it is on the TV (which in the uk that is a lot) but it is a favourite of mine. This film is perfect in every single way and one of my favourite quotes of all time is in this film, just listen for the reference about brown m&m's. (About the film: Mary Fiore is San Francisco's most successful supplier of romance and glamour. She knows all the tricks. She knows all the rules. But then she breaks the most important rule of all: she falls in love with the groom.)

8. pretty woman (amazon video linked)
Finally we have another throwback film but this time from the 90's and one that will forever be the most iconic romantic comedy. Every time i watch Pretty Woman it's like the first time, yet you repeat the lines from the film as it goes ha ha! (About the film: A man in a legal but hurtful business needs an escort for some social events, and hires a beautiful prostitute he meets... only to fall in love.)

SIX HIGH-END PRODUCTS I PROBABLY COULDN'T LIVE WITHOUT

Hello everyone! We all have those certain products in our makeup collections that we are always reaching for and re-purchasing over and over again, simply because we are that obsessed with that particular product. With that being said i thought i would share with you the products i probably couldn't live without in my collection, as part of a two part series and kicking things off with the six high-end products.

Out of all of the "high-end" foundations i have tried and loved over the years, this is the foundation that i always have to keep a bottle in stock (along side another foundation). I have reached for this foundation and loved for so many years now, as it honestly never lets me down and is great if you are really wanting a full coverage/bulletproof base. This always lasts all day long on me, in fact more often than not it still looks freshly applied when i come to remove it. It is definitely one of those sweat-proof, shine-proof and weather-proof foundations, which retails for £32.50GBP.

Ever since i first tried this product out years ago now, i have constantly reached for it on an everyday basis and nothing else. Even though recently i have been reaching for a fair few newer products, i still keeping going back to this. That being said even though you might think £19GBP for such a small brow product might seem a little steep, don't be fooled as a tiny amount goes a long way and it will last you for a really long time. As this is a pomade it is each to work with, pigmented and is another one of those bullet-proof products.

If you remember earlier on in the year i mentioned that i tried to get my hands on this particular bronzer in the shade medium, for the longest time but finally i managed to get one and ever since then i have barely put it down. It straight away went to the top of my favourite bronzer of all time list, as it is just simply stunning with its natural finish and effortlessness to blend. I honestly thought my much loved NARS laguna bronzer, would take some beating but how i was wrong. This bronzer retails for £25GBP and comes in four shades.

So this was probably the hardest decision to make, as i am a complete highlighter addict and i have so many favourites. That being said it would definitely be between this one by MAC and the topaz powder highlight by Jouer, which is currently broken up into a million pieces so i definitely need to pick up another soon. I love how fine-milled/lightweight the formula of the extra dimension skinfinishes are and the shade oh darling is simply the most beautiful metallic gold shade, which is my favourite tone of highlighter. The extra dimension skinfinishes retail for £24.50GBP and come in seven different shades.

There is no shock that the rest of the products in this post are all from MAC, because they are probably my favourite brand for lip products. I have so many different lip liners from the brand and if i could only keep a select few, they would definitely stay unlike ones from other brands. Out of the regular formula and the pro longwear formula, the pro longwear liners are by far my favourite as they are super pigmented, longer wearing and easier to apply. A particular favourite shade of mine is the shade oh honey! (warm nude shade), this particular formula of lip liner retails for £15.50GBP and the regular formula ones are £13.00GBP.

Finally if you know anything about me, then you will probably know that i am a complete nude lipstick/lip product hoarder in general and i actually always say if i was to completely get rid of all of my lip products but only keep one kind, it would be my MAC lipsticks. MAC lipsticks are just those cult classic favourite loved by many people, me especially as they are pigmented, come in so many different shades and they last for quite a long time on the lips. Just like any person i definitely have my favourite ones in my collection (shock horror the nudes), such as yash (deep neutral matte), honey love (light beige tone matte) and peachstock (creamy beige peach satin). The MAC lipsticks retail for £16.50RRP.

MY FAVOURITE PICK-ME-UPS

Hello everyone! So we all have those moments from time to time where you are feeling down, not ourselves, stressed from work etc or you are just having one of those bad days when nothing is going right and feel like you need a serious pick-me-up. We all have those go-to little things that we do to, either shake off the bad day/mood or simply just to make ourselves feel better. With that in mind i thought i would share some of my personal favourite pick-me-ups, that always help me out when in need.

1. have a relaxing pamper night.
There is honestly nothing better sometimes after a tough day, than having a nice relaxing pamper night and giving yourself the full works when it comes to beauty treatments. Kicking things off with a nice hot shower, bath bomb filled bubble bath and a good face mask.

2. giving yourself a mani/pedi.
Sticking with the beauty/pamper theme another thing i like to do to not only relax but also to give myself a boost of confidence is giving myself a manicure and pedicure, because there is nothing like having nice and freshly painted nails. I always tend to be the happiest when my nails are a nice nude shade or a vampy autumnal shade, which is very fitting at the moment.

3. applying fake tan.
Another confidence booster for me is being tanned, as i always tend to feel a lot happier in the way i look when i am tanned/have some colour and not feeling ghostly pale. You might think this is more of a time consuming pick-me-up but honestly it is totally worth the up keep, even in the autumn/winter months.

4. listening to music.
Music for me is definitely the quickest form of a pick-me-up if i am feeling down, as i will simply put one my favourite artist/songs/albums at the moment. So i will either listen to music whilst doing other things about the house, or with headphones in. I have so many new artists/tracks that i am loving at the moment, so expect an updated "music at the moment" post sometime soon.

5. scents: candles/room sprays.
Something that is so simple yet so relaxing to me is simply by being in a beautifully scented room, whether that be from lighting a candle or spraying the room with a scented spray. Seeing as we are in autumn at the moment, those are the scents i am opting for such as the "warm cashmere" scented candle by Yankee Candle and the Frosting With Love room spray by Glade that i picked up recently at Home Bargains.

6. reading a book/magazine.
Reading a good book is a great way to help you relax and get out of your head for a little while. For me there is nothing more relaxing sometimes than lighting a candle, putting on some cosy pyjamas, making yourself a hot drink/glass of wine with a good book. When it comes to books i am a suck for a romance book and The Forbidden by my favourite author Jodi Ellen Malpas, is definitely the read of the year for me.

7. binge-watching your favourite show/movie.
I love to binge-watch tv shows, i have always been a season a day kind of girl (well not so much these days) maybe more like two or three episodes now. I always have those specific tv shows that i watch/re-watch to cheer myself up and that is usually some form of sitcom like Will & Grace, Friends or Full/Fuller House. Another go-to of mine and a show i have re-watched from start to finish probably as many times as Friends and that is Sex and the City, because lets face it you can't beat the classics.

8. shopping/online shopping.
Finally probably the most dangerous pick-me-up of them all but sometimes the most effective and that is going shopping/online shopping. I am pretty sure we have all looked into our wardrobes full of clothes, shoes, makeup and accessories and thought "i have nothing to wear", then you spend the whole night/whole of your bank account on buying new things. Then the added little pick-me-up you get when the package arrives at your door.

THINGS TO DO WHEN YOU WANT A LITTLE BREAK FROM THE INTERNET

Hello everyone! The majority of us human beings now spend more time in the day on the internet than we do sleeping at night, me included. Obviously when your job revolved around the internet/social-media you are spending a lot of time online, as well as spending time online "off-duty" so to speak. With that in mind as much as we all love the internet, it is still nice to take a step back and have a little break from it for a while (even if it is just an hour). For today's post i thought i would share with you some great things to, when you need to escape and take that break (trust me it will do you good from time to time).

1. read a book, whether that be a paperback/hard back or kindle.
2. watch your favourite feel-good movie, or a new movie you haven't seen before.
3. go to the cinema with your friend/loved one.
4. listen to music.
5. give yourself a manicure/pedicure, i like to do this and listen to music.
6. go for a walk, whether that be simply down the street or in the woods/park.
7. give your wardrobe a clear-out/re-organise.
8. re-organise your makeup collection.
9. try out different hairstyles/makeup looks for fun.
10. binge-watch your favourite tv show/a new tv show.
11. have a gathering with friends/family with great food or drink and company.
12. read your favourite magazine.
13. write a journal, whether that be for work ideas or personal goals.
14. go on an adventure with someone to somewhere you are yet to visit.
15. bake or cook something.
16. have a relaxing bath with a bath bomb and light your favourite candle.
17. do a face mask.
18. colouring in an adult colouring book.
19. go grab a coffee from your favourite coffee shop.
20. take a nap (i mean we need to catch up on the sleep we miss from being online).
21. read a cookbook and take notes on what recipes you want to try.
22. go out for a few drinks with a friend and have a good gossip.
23. look through old pictures/create a new picture album.
24. have a family/friends board game night.
25. make a playlist filled with your favourite songs (technically this requires going on the internet but try to stray from spotify, iTunes or amazon ha ha).

BEAUTY & RANDOM FAVOURITES: JUNE EDITION

Hello everyone! Can you seriously believe that is will be July tomorrow already, where has this month gone? It feels like months and months since i last did a traditional "monthly favourites post", as the last couple of months i have done them in a different style like my favourites from the week and my mid-2017 most read posts. With that in mind and seeing as we are at the end of another month, i thought why not bring things back to basics and share with you my beauty/random favourites from the month of June.

At the beginning of June i did a post all about the best of beauty: coconut talking about all of the coconut infused products that i have tried and loved, when i posted that post my sister said to me "you need to try this Lee Stafford coconut spritz" it's a leave in conditioner/de-tangling spray. So of course i took her advice and picked one up, now i love it even more than the ogx nourishing coconut oil mist as it is super lightweight. This product also works super well in conjunction with a set of coconut products, which i will be doing a review on.

So this month i was lucky enough to give these brushes from Freedom, which i have tried and loved a fair few products from now. First of all these brushes are super affordable, as we all know makeup brushes can be quite hefty in price so i wasn't sure what to expect but i was literally blown away with how amazing they actually are. Both the eye brushes and face brushes are super soft/fluffy, pick up products easily, apply evenly and blends product out effortlessly. The brushes i have are multiples of the FE103FF104FE102FF103 and the FE101, the brush prices start from £2 and non of them are above £5 in price which is insane.

This month i have pretty much been wearing the same lip combination because i am that obsessed with how perfect it is. Starting with the pro artist lip liner in the shade nude to line my lips, yet another Freedom product that is amazing and is honestly so comparable to the MAC lip liners, yet these lip liners only retail for £2 each. Next up is the liquid lipstick i haven't been able to put down, which is Naked by Anastasia Beverly Hills and is one that i featured in a recent post that you can catch here and followed by the gloss also by Anastasia Beverly Hills in my favourite shade of all time Gilded, to add the perfect golden sheen to a perfect nude lip combination.

Another product from Anastasia Beverly Hills that i haven't been able to put down all month, even though it isn't a new product i have recently tried out it is one that i have fall in love with all over again. If you want to know more about this palette/my thoughts on it, then i recently shared a post talking about my go-to palettes for summer but what i will say is that i have mainly been reaching for three particular shades, which are raw sienna, burnt orange and primavera.

Last of all for the beauty items i have been loving this super skinny eyeliner pencil from Maybelline, this eyeliner is one that has been shown/loved by so many US beauty guru's for a while now and finally it launched in the UK. It is literally everything it claims to be, not to mention super long-wearing, as well as making it effort free to tight-line your eyes as well as the waterline. The only complaint i have is i wish they would bring it out in brown in the UK, like they did in the US as i prefer brown liners these days.

I have been so ready for this dvd to be released since the last time i went to the cinema to watch it in February (i went multiple times, sorry not sorry) and finally on Monday it was released on dvd, but i was super lucky for it to land on my doorstep the Saturday before. Now you all know what my plans were on that Saturday night, as i was so excited to see the extra scenes included.

Whilst on a similar subject to fifty shades, my favourite book out of the two i have read this month has to be this novella by my favourite author Jodi Ellen Malpas and i actually mentioned this book first of all in a books i want to read in 2017 #2 post. First of all i tried to saviour it and not read it too fast but it was just so addictive and i finished it in two sittings, the ending also got me even more excited for her next book the forbidden which isn't released until August, as we got given a little teaser of the character/s and a snip-it from the book.

If you follow me on social-media then it is going to be obvious that i was going to mention this song, because i just can't get enough of it and Bryson Tiller's verse is everything to me. I am also really loving the Greatful album, especially the song Don't Quit and of course Wild Thoughts. I am thinking of doing an updated "music at the moment" post soon, as it has been a hot minute.

THE £3 HIGHLIGHTERS YOU NEED IN YOUR MAKEUP COLLECTION

Hello everyone! If you are anything like me then two things when it comes to makeup that you lust after the most, are nude lip products and highlighters. Last month i first mentioned in my powder highlight: golden glow post a particular highlighter that was new to my collection and this particular highlighter took me by surprise, as it is super pigmented and not to mention super inexpensive costing only £3.

mua undress your skin highlighter in the shade golden afterglow
This particular shade called golden afterglow, is the shade that i had initially picked up and is the same shade i mentioned in the golden glow post. As i had mentioned in that post, the pigmentation of this highlighter is insane and if you blind tested this range of highlighters you would think it would be the pigment of a high-end product, in fact they are more pigmented that quite a few of my higher end highlighters. Golden afterglow is the most beautiful golden/bronze toned shade, perfect for those with deeper skintones or used in a multi-purpose way on any eye lid (which is the way i love to use this shade). MUA is such an affordable makeup brand and i have tried so many products by them over the years, but hands down these are the products that have blown my mind.

mua undress your skin highlighter in the shade golden scintillation
So once i had discovered how much i loved the shade golden afterglow, i decided to pick up a couple of different shades to try out and what makeup addict doesn't do that? I mean you need 1000+ nude lipsticks that are all different shades, so why wouldn't you do the same for highlighters? I decided to pick up the shades golden scintillation and peach diamond, but out of the two golden scintillation is the one i am literally living for right now. Just like the shade golden afterglow, this one is equally as pigmented, buttery soft in consistency and applies/blends like a dream. It is no secret that i am all about glowing to the gods, so my favourite thing to do right now is apply some of the Topshop glow pot in the shade gleam, before setting it with some of this on top and as simple as that you have a blinding highlight. I just can't seem to put it down right now!

FINALLY TRYING LIQUID LIPSTICKS BY ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS

Hello everyone! So if you are from the UK you will know that we have been able to get our hands on the majority of the products from Anastasia Beverly Hills, all except for the liquid lipsticks...until now that is. Earlier this year ABH finally launched a UK website, where you can buy every single product from the brand. This was super exciting to me and i was straight in there to try and finally get my hands on some liquid lipsticks, but there was a slight drama because all of the nude shades sold out in rapid speed and they seemed to be out of stock forever.

As i mentioned above the liquid lipsticks were obviously the most wanted items (just like i wanted them) which resorted in them selling out super quick and every time i checked the site over weeks to come, they were still out of stock. Anyway to cut a long story short, i happened to randomly click on the site for a link to post and what do you know, they were in stock...every single shade! First of all i did a little happy dance and second of all i placed two of the shades that i have been lusting after for so long, straight into my online cart.

So first up we have the shade called milkshake, which is described as a milk-y shade with a hint of peach and is honestly so beautiful. Obviously this particular shade is on the lighter end of the nude scale, so it is obviously not going to for everyone but i personally think this type of shade suits my colouring and everything like that. Moving onto the actual formula of the liquid lipstick, obviously they all have a rich matte finish that claims to be long-wearing yet comfortable to wear and honestly so far i am not disappointed in the slightest, so worth the wait. If you are from the UK, the shade milkshake retails for £20.

Obviously i always knew i wanted to get the shade milkshake, but the next shade was a toss up between this shade called naked and the shade pure hollywood. So what i had done previously is search a ton of different swatches online and i decided naked was 100% the shade for me, which i am so glad about now because it is honestly my perfect nude in a tube. I have the biggest feeling that this is going to be the satin ribbon lingerie liquid lipstick by NYX, go-to nude all over again and i won't be able to put it down. Just like the shade milkshake, naked is a peachy toned nude but a lot more nude with a slight beige base to it over the milky base that milkshake has. The formula is also a rich matte finish that is long wearing and if you are from the UK this shade also retails for £20.

MY FAVOURITE PLACES TO SHOP ONLINE

Hello everyone! I know i am not on my own for online shopping more than actually going out shopping, it is just so much easier as you don't have to put up with other shoppers, queues and you can do it in your pyjamas if you want to. With that in mind for today's post i thought i would share with you all, some of my favourite places to online shop, from makeup to miscellaneous items, clothing and even candles.

It is very rare that i actually pop into a Superdrug store these days, as i would much rather order it all online especially if i am needing dry shampoo, face wipes, hairspray or anything heavy i want to stock up on (as well as makeup items obviously). That isn't the only reason, the other reason being that they have so many more offers online than they do in-store and if you have a beautycard you can get free delivery, as well as extra offers on-top of other offers. Thursdays are a good day to shop if you are a beautycard holder, as they have a "treat thursday" section of offers for members, for example 10% off a brand/product or triple points.

Another place i love to shop on for more high-end and some affordable makeup is Beautybay, as they sell so many amazing brands and some of my favourites such as Anastasia Beverly Hills, Makeup Geek, LA Girl, LA Splash, Morphe and Milani. More often than not they will have offers such as upto 30% off, 3 for 2 on certain brands and delivery is free on orders over £15. The shipping is also crazy fast which i love because i am such an impatient person, i am literally that meme of the cat sat waiting at the window for the delivery guy ha! Another store similar to Beautybay that i love to shop on is cultbeauty.co.uk.

It was a toss up between Look Fantastic and Feel Unique, as they are similar sellers but i would say that i order a lot more frequently from Look Fantastic now. I like to get my L'Oréal Professionnel hair products from there, as well as bareMinerals, NARS and it's where i get my brow tint from. I love how they constantly have great discounts on so many different brands, discount codes such as 10% and 20% off, free and fast delivery.

Moving on-to clothing and shoes, i get quite a lot of things from missguided because there is always something that i see and love on there. The quality of the clothing and everything is amazing for the price-tag and the sizing of products are accurate, they don't run small or big. The site is also another place where there is always some form of discount going off, such as free next day delivery, 20% off everything and 30% off when you sign up to their newsletter. Every time i go on i always find myself lusting after something new, even just getting the link for the site i got distracted and ending up placing an order! Other places i get clothing from quite frequently are asos.comprettylittlething.com and boohoo.com.

Being the complete candle addict that i am, Candles Direct is a site that i order from quite a lot as it is were i usually get my Yankee Candles from. They also sell so many other brands such as Village Candles, Burts Bees, Baylis & Harding and Bomb Cosmetics. The great thing about this site is there is always some form of discount on candles, as well as fragrance of the month discounts and they stock everything from tea lights, pillar candles and small/medium/large jars.

Finally moving onto probably one of the best places to online shop for so many different things in the same place and such reliable/quick delivery and customer service response. I buy everything from makeup brushes, makeup, books, dvd's, gadgets and pretty much everything basically. Also if you have amazon prime you can watch tv shows, movies, listen to music and get your online orders the next day. Something i do a lot on Amazon is pre-order pre-released things such as dvd's and books, that way you won't forget when they are released and you will get them on the day of the release without having to leave the house.

CURRENT EVERYDAY MAKEUP FAVOURITES: BROWS, EYES & LIPS #2

Hello everyone! In my previous post i shared part one to my current everyday makeup favourites, where i talked about all of the base products i have been reaching for day in day out. For today's post i am bringing you part two to that post, this time talking all things everyday brows, eyes and lip products.

Kicking things off with brows, there is no shock in the fact that i always use this to fill them in and i have done so for well over a year now. I just love how easy the product is to control and how long it lasts through anything as well, like i mentioned in my recent what i use to fill in my brows post. Once i have filled my brows in i like to go in with concealer which is the same concealer i have been using for the rest of my face, the morphe brushes concealer in the shade oats and i use a morphe Y21 brush to do so.

For so long i had always been using my favourite/holy grail l'oréal brow artist plumper in the shade medium/dark but i really wanted to switch things up, as i mentioned in that same recent brow-date post. So i decided to give this one a go from milani and so far i am really loving the way it sets your brows in place, like hairspray would without looking clumpy/obvious as it is a clear finish product.

I honestly don't know what has been wrong with me but it is almost half way through the year and this is the first eyeshadow palette i have bought since the end of last year, which i believe was the too faced chocolate bar palette. That being said i have been lusting after this palette ever since it launched, but it was unavailable in the uk and then when it was, it was forever out of stock until now. I love love love everything about this palette, from the shades, the pigment of the shadows and how easy they are to blend out. I tend to keep things simple by using the matte brown shade on the top row in the crease, the third highlight shade in on the lid and the forth shade on the outer corners and the lower lash-line.

Last month i did a post talking about all of the drugstore mascaras that i have been trying out so far this year, as i wanted to make it my mission to try new/different ones out each time i finished one. That being said this specific mascara is the one that i am loving/reaching for everyday, i love how uplifting it is and does as it suggests it does. Paired with the mascara the eyeliner pencil that i have been reaching for a lot recently is this bargain sleek twist up eye pencil in the shade chocolate, as i prefer to opt for a brown liner over black these days. Another great thing about this liner is that it is a twist up pencil, which is a life saver when you can't find/forget your sharpener or those times when you simply can't be bothered ha!

Finally we have everyday lip products, which is something i do switch up pretty much daily but you know me it will always be something nude. That being said i really love this particular lip combination at the moment, all three products together create this beautiful pink based pale beige-nude lip that is long-wearing.

TOP FIVE FAVOURITE BRONZERS

Hey guys, i hope you are all having an amazing day whatever you are up to! Let's all just take a moment to appreciate the beauty of bronzing/contouring, i mean even the smallest amount applied can make a massive difference to any makeup look as well as adding warmth/shape back into your face. So for today's blog post i thought i would share with you my top 5 favourite bronzers, some are old favourites and some are just mind blowing go-to products...

I have to start off with my favourite favourite favourite bronzer of all time... Yep you guessed it NARS bronzing powder in Laguna! I honestly can't deal without this bronzer and you can probably tell that from the huge dent i have made in it.

Next i have to mention the Define & Conquer Contour Kit by Seventeen, if you read my posts often you will know this has become a recent favourite of mine especially along side NARS Laguna. I will use Laguna to contour and then the bronze shade in this kit to bronze/warm up my face. The highlight shade in this palette is perfect for setting your under eye area also.

Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder (aka the chocolate bronzer) is probably one of my favourite drugstore bronzers besides the one from Seventeen. It is a perfect bronzer for an everyday look where you don't want anything to harsh but still a little something something ha ha. Another bonus to this product is it smells incredible!

Topshop Bronzer in the shade Sandcastle is one of those bronzers that i will always hold a place in my heart as it was my holy grail bronzer of mine way back. In fact after choosing which bronzers to place in my top five, i have been reaching for it a little more. I love re discovering products i used to love and forgot about.

To finish up this top five post we have my HD Brows Bronzer in the shade 002, this is the most perfect bronzer in summer time as it gives you that perfect sun kissed glow but still looks very natural. The only downside to this bronzer is the packaging is so fiddly to get into and then it has a lid with in a lid (which i broke off because it was that annoying). Saying that i think they have changed the packaging slightly since i purchased the product.

MAKEUP REVOLUTION AWESOME DUAL EYELINER: KOHL & FLICK*

Hey guys, i hope you are all having an amazing day whatever you are up to! So the other day i was out shopping and whilst browsing at drugstore makeup how you do (can anyone go shopping without looking at makeup? I CAN'T) and i noticed that my local superdrug now stocks makeup revolution, which is amazing as i am obsessed with their products as they are amazing quality and so in-expensive. I had been looking for a new felt liner as they are my favourite kind to create winged liner with, i am no good with an angled brush and gel liner, felt liners are just so easy to me...

I decided to pick up this dual eyeliner from their range which has a retractable kohl liner on one side and the felt liner on the other, which to me is such a cool idea to me...you basically have two products in one place which is always handy for traveling or throwing in your makeup bag. Another plus side to this product as well as its handy packaging is the fact it ticks all the boxes: pigmentation, easy to apply, long lasting oh and the fact it's a bargain at only £3.50.

To see more products available from makeup revolution check out their website here:

NON BEAUTY FAVOURITES

Hey guys, i hope you all had a great weekend whatever you got up to! Just recently there has been so many non beauty related things i have been loving and seeing as i haven't updated you all on them in a while, i thought it was about time that i did. A couple of the items do have a festive feel to them but it is that time of year and who doesn't love "christmassy" type things...

1. Christmas Socks.
A winter essential for me is Christmas themed socks, i am obsessed with these from Primark which is part of a 5 pack but this pair is my particular favourite. They are super warm without being too thick and they are so inexpensive which is always a bonus.

2. Hot Chocolate.
Another winter essential is a Hot Chocolate, i just can't seem to get enough. My favourite type of hot chocolate is actually from Starbucks (Soy Hot Chocolate with a shot of Peppermint) but when i am home and i am craving one, i like this particular one "Cadbury Wispa Gold" which you just add hot water to it and it is so amazing!

3. Movies.
If you have been reading my posts for a while you will know by now that i am a huge tv show/movie lover and when it comes to movies i love a good romantic comedy. I wanted to watch this film "The Other Woman" for the longest time since it was out in the cinema but never got round to it. My sister bought it when it was released on dvd and honestly it is the funniest romantic comedy i have seen in so long, all i am saying is two things a) check it out and b) never mess with a woman haha!

4. Notebooks.
I bought these two cute notebooks last week as all of my others were full and i also wanted to get a new one to write down all of my ideas for Blogmas. These particular ones are from Wilkos and was only £1 each, a bargain or what? Also my favourite out of the two is the one with the cute little dog on it, i believe the range is called "Beau Chic" in their stationary section.

5. Christmas Candles.
Last week whilst in Asda i picked up some of the Simply Home range candles from Yankee Candle. I am a hug Yankee Candle fan and noticed this range was slightly less expensive than the classic range and they had so many different scents to choose from. This is the Christmas Treats fragrance and it literally smells like Christmas Cookies/Baking - So good!

What non beauty items are you loving at the moment?

HALLOWEEN WEEK: PAMPER EVENING

Hey guys, i hope you are all having a great day whatever you are up to! So for the second installment of "Halloween Week" i am going to be showing you more than likely the Halloween evening i will be having and my favourite things to do...

There is nothing better than a good pamper session by having a nice hot shower or bath using your favourite products. You could also treat yourself to your very own "Halloween Mask" aka a face mask, i am still obsessed with this one by No7 it's my holy grail! Why not go all out and light your favourite candle, i'm loving this Ghostly Treats one by Yankee Candle.

Once you are done in the bathroom and you've gotten yourself into your favourite pjs, make yourself your favourite hot chocolate and add marshmallows (why not it is Halloween after all).

Last but not least it's time to relax and freak out by watching a horror movie or if you are like me and aren't into horror movies, just stick on your favourite TV show. I will most definitely be watching some Pretty Little Liars...
