BEAUTY FAVOURITES | FEBRUARY

Hello everyone and welcome to the final post for the month of February! In my previous post i talked all about my more lifestyle favourites from the month, so i thought for today's instalment i would share the beauty products i have been loving this month. It is true what they say that even though February is only a few days shorter, it does make all the difference therefor i don't have a huge amount of new products to chat about...

The first one is actually a fairly boring one, as it is just face wipes but that being said i finally tried a different type of face wipe other than the Nivea exfoliating wipes. The reason for this being is i was totally out of my stash, so i picked these up in Tesco as they don't stock the Nivea ones. I actually didn't expect to like them but i really do, i have tried a different pack from Johnson's before but these are so much better because they remove all service makeup quickly and leaves your skin feeling super hydrated. I always like to use a makeup wipe, before going in with my cleanser.

So i actually first tried this eyeshadow palette out a couple of months ago, as i got it as a gift for Christmas after lusting over it for a while because let's face it the shades in this palette are me. That being said i haven't been reaching for eyeshadow all that often, especially day to day as i will usually just use some bronzer for quick. On the days/night that i did make more of an effort though, i have been reaching and loving using this palette. The shadows are pigmented, easy to blend and apply evenly which is why i always recommend Zoeva palettes to people and they aren't going to break the bank either.

I actually first mentioned this mascara that i have been reaching for a lot recently in my quick, easy + affordable weekend no makeup, makeup look post and in that post i mentioned how much of a creature of habit i am when it comes to mascara, yet this one completely took me by surprise. I love so many products from MUA but i have never tried their mascara's and seeing as it was only £3, i didn't expect anything from it but it does everything to my lashes, lengthens, leaves a voluminous finish and doesn't apply clumpy or transfer.

morphe liquid lipstick in the shade sweets
Finally we have my favourite lip combination of the month and is one i have pretty much been wearing non stop. I actually mentioned how much i loved the way Spice lip liner looks paired with a lot of different nude lip products applied on top but especially the Nip+Fab liquid lipstick in the shade Biscuit, in my recent go-to brown/nude lip liners post. This combination is just the perfect warm/brown-beige nude lip with a matte finish. That being said if i am feeling something slightly more pinkish-toned nude then i will go in with Sweets liquid lipstick from Morphe, which was from their holiday collection.

See you in March (Spring is finally on its way yay)!!!

xo.

BEAUTY FAVOURITES: JULY

Hello everyone! So here we are again at the end of yet another very quick month, before you know it summer will be over and we will be talking all things autumn/winter again! This past month i have found myself reaching for a couple of new things but nothing too major (so this won't be too long of a post - unlike usually), that being said i have been trying out a fair few new products but they aren't products i have been using all month long, so you will probably see the newer items some time soon in August.

This particular mascara has bumped itself straight into the contender for my favourite mascara of all time from the drugstore already, i am completely obsessed with how quickly you can achieve long and voluminous lashes without even trying, it literally does everything for you. In my previous post last week, i shared my first impression/review and you can catch that here.

I first discussed this particular MAC lipstick in my handbag essentials post and i mentioned how i picked a few new nude lipsticks from the brand with a gift card i received for my birthday. This is a shade that i have always thought looked stunning whenever someone wore it, but i thought it would probably be similar in shade to honeylove and creme d'nude which i already own both of, now i have tried it out i love it even more than the two of them combined. Peachstock is the most beautiful peachy, light-toned beige nude with a satin finish.

This is one of two eyeshadow palettes that i have reviewed on my blog this month and i have to say out of the two, i am completely obsessed with it so much so i have used it everyday since getting my hands on it and i just can't put it down. The shade i reach for the most is one called deserted, as it is the most perfect sandy/caramel beige colour great for an all over lid shade or transition shade in the crease. Catch my first impression/review on the palette here.

Finally something i didn't expect to be loving as much as i am this month and that is stick on nails, i used to wear these type of nails a few years back when the whole french manicure style was on trend. That being said i had seen a few people on my instagram stories/youtube picking these ones up from primark and i was shocked at how beautiful they are and they are only £1 per box (i swear i used to pay up to £10 when i wore them). For a £1 i picked up a few of the nude pairs in the square shape (which i am wearing now) and this pointed shape as well. I am also surprised at how long they are lasting on my nails, as i have had this pair on for almost a week and they still look new.

BEAUTY & RANDOM FAVOURITES: JUNE EDITION

Hello everyone! Can you seriously believe that is will be July tomorrow already, where has this month gone? It feels like months and months since i last did a traditional "monthly favourites post", as the last couple of months i have done them in a different style like my favourites from the week and my mid-2017 most read posts. With that in mind and seeing as we are at the end of another month, i thought why not bring things back to basics and share with you my beauty/random favourites from the month of June.

At the beginning of June i did a post all about the best of beauty: coconut talking about all of the coconut infused products that i have tried and loved, when i posted that post my sister said to me "you need to try this Lee Stafford coconut spritz" it's a leave in conditioner/de-tangling spray. So of course i took her advice and picked one up, now i love it even more than the ogx nourishing coconut oil mist as it is super lightweight. This product also works super well in conjunction with a set of coconut products, which i will be doing a review on.

So this month i was lucky enough to give these brushes from Freedom, which i have tried and loved a fair few products from now. First of all these brushes are super affordable, as we all know makeup brushes can be quite hefty in price so i wasn't sure what to expect but i was literally blown away with how amazing they actually are. Both the eye brushes and face brushes are super soft/fluffy, pick up products easily, apply evenly and blends product out effortlessly. The brushes i have are multiples of the FE103FF104FE102FF103 and the FE101, the brush prices start from £2 and non of them are above £5 in price which is insane.

This month i have pretty much been wearing the same lip combination because i am that obsessed with how perfect it is. Starting with the pro artist lip liner in the shade nude to line my lips, yet another Freedom product that is amazing and is honestly so comparable to the MAC lip liners, yet these lip liners only retail for £2 each. Next up is the liquid lipstick i haven't been able to put down, which is Naked by Anastasia Beverly Hills and is one that i featured in a recent post that you can catch here and followed by the gloss also by Anastasia Beverly Hills in my favourite shade of all time Gilded, to add the perfect golden sheen to a perfect nude lip combination.

Another product from Anastasia Beverly Hills that i haven't been able to put down all month, even though it isn't a new product i have recently tried out it is one that i have fall in love with all over again. If you want to know more about this palette/my thoughts on it, then i recently shared a post talking about my go-to palettes for summer but what i will say is that i have mainly been reaching for three particular shades, which are raw sienna, burnt orange and primavera.

Last of all for the beauty items i have been loving this super skinny eyeliner pencil from Maybelline, this eyeliner is one that has been shown/loved by so many US beauty guru's for a while now and finally it launched in the UK. It is literally everything it claims to be, not to mention super long-wearing, as well as making it effort free to tight-line your eyes as well as the waterline. The only complaint i have is i wish they would bring it out in brown in the UK, like they did in the US as i prefer brown liners these days.

I have been so ready for this dvd to be released since the last time i went to the cinema to watch it in February (i went multiple times, sorry not sorry) and finally on Monday it was released on dvd, but i was super lucky for it to land on my doorstep the Saturday before. Now you all know what my plans were on that Saturday night, as i was so excited to see the extra scenes included.

Whilst on a similar subject to fifty shades, my favourite book out of the two i have read this month has to be this novella by my favourite author Jodi Ellen Malpas and i actually mentioned this book first of all in a books i want to read in 2017 #2 post. First of all i tried to saviour it and not read it too fast but it was just so addictive and i finished it in two sittings, the ending also got me even more excited for her next book the forbidden which isn't released until August, as we got given a little teaser of the character/s and a snip-it from the book.

If you follow me on social-media then it is going to be obvious that i was going to mention this song, because i just can't get enough of it and Bryson Tiller's verse is everything to me. I am also really loving the Greatful album, especially the song Don't Quit and of course Wild Thoughts. I am thinking of doing an updated "music at the moment" post soon, as it has been a hot minute.

NOVEMBER BEAUTY FAVOURITES

Hey guys, i hope you are all having a great day whatever you are up to! I literally can't believe we are at the end of another month yet again and it will be December in a couple of days. I have mentioned i a post that i will be doing "Blogmas" again this year and for those who might not know what that is, it is basically where you blog everyday up until Christmas. I have so many different types of posts planned from baking to craft/gift ideas and also some beauty things obviously thrown in there too. So back to today's post here it is my favourites for the month of November...

1. MAC Keepsakes Eyeshadow palette (Smoky eyes).
First things first i had to start off with the newest thing that i have been obsessed with since i purchased it during this month. The MAC holiday collection this year is so nice, from all the cute packaging and the detail that has gone into it. I have pretty much been using this palette everyday since i got it and you can create a wide range of different looks with it from an everyday natural look to a smoky/sexy eye look for an evening or special occasion.

2. Dashing Santa Lush Bath Bomb.
My last post was a Lush haul where i shown you all the Christmas items i bought and this has got to be my favourite one out of them haul as i am on my second one. The scent is what sells it for me which is hard to describe, on the website the description says orange but i don't particularly smell that myself. All i can say is if you go into a Lush store smell this!

3. NARS Highlighting Powder in Albatross.
This is a product that i had actually forgotten about for a little while as i tend to use my MAC Soft and Gentle highlight on a day to day basis, but whilst looking through my collection i realized that i hadn't used it in a while and now i have i keep thinking why did i stop? It gives you the most amazing golden glow when the light hits the highest points of your cheeks and a little goes a long way.

4. NYX Blush in Angel.
Yet again another product i had forgotten about but i wanted to switch my everyday blush up for pink to peach and this is the perfect peach shade for me. NYX blushes are super affordable yet they have that high end finish for me as they are so pigmented and sits so naturally on the skin.

5. Milani Color Statement Lipsticks in Sangria and Nude Créme.
I did a whole blog post dedicated to these particular lipsticks during this month as i am OBSESSED with them and have pretty much been swapping between them everyday. Sangria is that perfect berry winter shade if you want to go for a bolder lip look and Nude Créme is the most perfect pinky nude.
You can check my review on these lipsticks here:

OCTOBER BEAUTY FAVOURITES

Hey guys, i hope you are all having a great day whatever you are up to! Here we are YET again at the end of another month, this year is just going way too fast. So seeing as it is nearly November i think it's time to talk about my favourite things i have been loving throughout the month of October...

1. Estée Lauder Take It Away make up remover.
My usual go to makeup remover is the camomile cleansing oil from The Body Shop but this month i have been trying out this travel size makeup remover which i received to try and i love everything about it. It removes eye makeup so easily which is always a bonus. I just love to use this and then follow up with my usual facial wash.

2. Lush Snow Fairy shower gel.
Of course this had to be in my favourites this month as it is hands down my favourite Lush product/scent ever, it is just pure heaven! For those who have never smelt the Snow Fairy scent before it is a very sweet fragrance just like bubblegum/candyfloss. It is a limited edition product and only comes out as one of their Christmas lines, so i always like to pick up the largest size!

3. Makeup Revolution Run Boy Run eye shadow palette.
I have mentioned this eye shadow palette in a few previous blog posts now and it has been a palette that i have pretty much been using every single day since i bought it. It contains 18 eye shadow's with a good mixture of matte and shimmer shades, it is also a very versatile palette where you are able to create so many different looks all from one place.

4. Milani Brilliant Shine Lip Glosses.
This is another product i have already mentioned in a couple of previous posts. I mentioned that i have been wanting to try out Milani products for the longest time and i finally managed to get my hands on some. These two shades that i have are Mauve Fetish and Black Cherry. Everything about these glosses win for me just as the butter glosses by NYX do, they are long wearing, not too sticky and the colour pay off is amazing. I have already placed another order on Beauty Joint to get my hands on some more shades.

5. Eyelure Naturalites 101 False Eyelashes.
False eyelashes aren't something i tend to wear as often anymore unlike a few years ago where i used to wear them all the time. From day to day i don't think i actually need them as my lashes are naturally quiet spidery looking but for a special occasion or a night out they are always nice. These particular ones are my favourite as they are still natural looking but give you that extra volume.

Random Favourites:

TV show: I have two different tv shows that i have been loving this month the first is Gotham and the second is Revenge (which is always a favourite of mine). Gotham for those who don't know is a new tv series based on the DC Comics mainly James Gordon but also Batman "the early years" and several other villains from the original Batman series. SO GOOD!

Music: This month i have been obsessed with an artist i have mentioned in previous favourites blog posts, which is Justin Garner. I have been listening to his new album "We Only Have Forever" none stop since it was released earlier in the month.

AUGUST BEAUTY FAVOURITES

Hey guys, i hope you are all having a great day whatever you are up to. Yet again here we are at the end of another month and also the end of summer is very near, so for today's blog post i thought i would share with you my beauty favourites of this month...

1. Galvin & Galvin OH! Organic Head Detox & Purify Shampoo.
I mentioned this shampoo in one of my recent posts and how much i loved the instant results and change in my hair. You can read that post here:

2. Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Clearing Gel.
This has been a savior for me this month as for some reason i have been getting breakouts (which is never fun) but this product is amazing at drying out and reducing the appearance of blemishes.

3. Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation in the shade Bone.
I got given a sample of this foundation to try out and i'm so glad i got that sample as i've always been put off from trying it because it's a lot of money if you don't like it. Although at the back of my mind i knew it would be good as it is raved about by many. Everything about this foundation i love the way it looks/feels and the packaging is so luxurious looking.

4. Sleek Blush in the shade Rose Gold.
To be completely honest i forgot i even had this blush in my possession but when i was digging through my collection looking for a different blush to use i came across this and i have been pretty much using it everyday since. The colour is a stunning pink with gold shimmer and this is a perfect cheaper alternative blush shade to NARS Orgasm!

5. Wild Argan Oil Body Lotion by The Body Shop.
I also mentioned this in a couple of previous posts recently and how amazing and luxury this makes my skin feel, i like to apply this day and night. You can read that post here:

GOODBYE JUNE, HELLO JULY

Hey guys, i hope you are all having a great day! Here we are again at the start of a new month, they just seem to keep coming quicker each time around. I have been loving so many different products this month, so without further a do here are my favourites from the month of June...

I have been loving so many new eyeshadow palettes this month and i have been switching between them all but my custom MAC palette is probably my favourite because i mean what beauty lover doesn't love MAC? This is a custom eyeshadow quad that i created myself  the shadows are:

Top Left - All That Glitters
Top Right - Satin Taupe
Bottom Left - Mythology
Bottom Right - Espresso

At the beginning of June i finally discovered that i could get my hands on the brand Essence from Wilko's of all places and i did a haul blog post on the items i bought here:
I bought two lip liners from the brand to try out and they are really nice lip liners, super pigmented and not drying on your lips. I loved them that much i had to go back and get a couple more and for 99p you really can't go wrong can you? The shades i have are:

06 Satin Mauve (My Favourite)
07 Cute Pink
11 In The Nude
12 Wish Me A Rose

Since i purchased this item i hadn't really tried it out much but then i ran out of my usual primer (L'Oreal Lumi Magique Base) and i reached for this. I love how soft this makes my skin feel as well as it minimizing the size of my pores which is what it's job is suppose to do. I don't think i would wear this product on itself but as a primer it does an amazing job.

As i have mentioned in a couple of previous blog post's i had fallen back in love with Soap & Glory products. I used to use this scrub religiously a while back and then my sister got me this as well as a Scrub of your Life for part of my birthday present and i am hooked again. This stuff leaves your skin feeling so soft afterwards as well as smelling amazing!!

Another body product i have been using everyday in June is The Body Shop Coconut Body Milk. Firstly this stuff smells so so so good (coconut always reminds me of holiday time), secondly it leaves your skin feeling really moisturized but it doesn't sit heavy on the skin it just sinks right in quickly and thirdly as it has a spray top it is super easy to apply.

If you have been reading my posts for while you will probably know that the Nivea face wipes were my go to favourite facial wipes well... that has now changed! Whilst i was in Wilko's buying the Essence items i thought i would pick up some more Nivea wipes then i noticed these and thought it couldn't hurt to try them. They remove your eye makeup so easily as well as them being really moisturizing on your skin, they have a really nice scent to them and you could get 4 packets of these for the price of one pack of Nivea at 75p for 25 wipes BARGAIN!

Last up for my favourites is this Beauticology Vanilla Frosting hand and body lotion. I have bought this in a set just after Christmas in the sale and had completely forgotten about it, so i dug it out and decided to try it out. I have mainly just been using this as a hand cream, it is quiet a runny consistency and a little goes a long way but it is super hydrating and smells so good like cake.

Random Favourites:

TV Show: This is an obvious one seeing as Pretty Little Liars has started back, such a great show. I am so happy it has been picked up for two more seasons after this one.

Food: Not so much food but i have been obsessed with Starbucks Soy Coconut Mocha Frappuccino.

Music: This month i have been listening to "Change Your Mind" by Trey Songz pretty much everyday and more than once a day i am obsessed.

What is your favourite product of this month?

GOODBYE MAY, HELLO JUNE

Hey guys, hope you have all had a great week! May is over in another day or so already and we are heading in to June, which is my opinion is the best month of the year.. my birthday month. So here we are again it's that time of the month, favourites time...

Lets kick off the favourites with hands down the best thing i have been using this month, the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth 7 Day Smooth System which is a heat activated treatment to help your hair stay straight even after washing (which actually works). Since i have been using this product along with my other Keratin products the time it takes to do my hair has cut in half... LOVE LOVE LOVE!

The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil, if you hate spending a long time removing your makeup this product is for you. All you need is 2 to 3 pumps of this onto your finger tips and massage the oil into your eye and face makeup and then wipe away using either damp cotton cosmetic pads or a damp flannel which i prefer and every piece of makeup is removed as easy as that.

Soap & Glory Butter Yourself Body Butter is another rediscovery this month which i had forgot was in my possession. Soap & Glory products never disappoint me, they always smell and make your skin feel great.

Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Eraser Concealer in Light. I had been after tracking down this product for a while after seeing so many people saying how amazing this product is and every Boots and Superdrug i went in to i had no look but i finally got my hands on it. I have been using it everyday, it applies easy and is super easy to blend as well as not creasing.

Another product i have been using most days since i got is the NYX Butter Gloss in Éclair. I literary don't have a bad thing to say about this lip gloss,  it has great colour pay off, lasting power and also it smells so delicious. I need to get my hands on some more!

I had mentioned in a previous couple of posts that i have been wanting to buy this bronzer for the longest time, it is probably one of the most talked about bronzers on YouTube and it deserves to be. I have been using NARS Laguna also everyday since i got it and has become my go to bronzer and also i love using it as a transition shade in the crease of my eye.

Random Favourites:

TV Show: This month my favourite show has been The Vampire Diaries hands down, i just think the show has got better and better as each season has gone on. Can't wait for the next season in the Autumn!

Food: Food favourite this month has got to be Pesto with Pasta, pasta or Italian food is favourite in general but i have been eating Pesto so much!

Music: Music favourite this month has been Mariah Carey's new album Me. I am Mariah even though it only came out last week it has gone right to the top, i am such a fan of her music. Another favourite has been Mya's EP Sweet XVI.

What products have been your favourite this month?
