TRAVEL BEAUTY: NEW-IN FOR SUMMER

Hello everyone! So it is coming up to that time of year that a lot of us love (me included), that time being summer/summer holiday time. When it comes to this time of year there are always a bunch of new products available from makeup to skincare and also body products, which are perfect for those summer months. With that in mind i thought i would share a selection of my personal favourite new-in products for this summer...

1. maybelline dream urban cover foundation | click to shop |
So i have always been a huge fan of Maybelline foundations, especially my all time favourite foundation the Fit Me and naturally when they launch a new foundation, i am going to want to try it asap. This foundation is an all new concept where makeup meets skincare, as the foundation is full coverage yet lightweight and has SPF50 which couldn't be more perfect for summer or whilst travelling to a hot climate.

2. mario badescu summer shine body lotion | click to shop |
It is not just the winter months that tend to dry your skin out, the summer months can be just as bad if not worse as your body is more likely to become dehydrated quicker. That being said it is super important to keep your skin super moisturised and hydrated, this Mario Badescu body lotion is the perfect candidate for not only ticking those boxes but will also leave you with a beautiful summer glow.

3. mac cosmetics x aladdin friend like me lipstick | click to shop |
First of all i literally can't contain my excited for going to see the new Aladdin movie at the cinema this coming weekend, second of all this new limited edition lipstick by MAC couldn't be any more perfect if it tried. I am obsessed with nude lip shades in general but when it is the most perfect almost cool neutral beige toned nude, i was sold immediately and the packaging is also beautiful.

4. revolution glow revolution timeless bronze | click to shop |
If you have beauty products on your radar regularly, then you will have probably seen the ever so Instagram famous Iconic London glow spray and you might also know that it isn't the most affordable spray out there. That being said Revolution to the rescue once again, launching a dupe style product which will leave you with the most beautiful glowing skin, bronze finish and with money left in the bank as it costs just £10.

5. fenty beauty pro filt'r instant retouch primer | click to shop |
I have been wanting to try something from Fenty Beauty for a while now, so the fact you can now get your hands on the entire range at Boots now is great. Out of all of the products this is the thing that catches my eye the most, as if you can suffer from shine (and not the good kind) during the summer months then this primer claims to have your back but still leaves your skin looking radiant. Also how stunning is the packaging?

6. charlotte tilbury glowgasm face palette | click to shop |
I know i mentioned before about having a product that didn't break the bank, this new-in face palette by Charlotte Tilbury is the complete opposite but it doesn't stop it from being anything but beautiful. Unlike a spray i feel like powder palettes last a lot longer and give you more value for money, this palette is filled with four equally stunning shades and of course they are encased by the most stunning signature Charlotte Tilbury packaging.

7. rimmel candy queen jelly highlighter | click to shop |
Finally we have another highlighting/glow related product (you can't have enough glow during the summer) this time a jelly formulated highlighter, which is new-in by Rimmel. I already have a jelly formula highlight from Revolution which i love the formula of, so i also think this stunning almost rose gold shade called candy queen. I am hoping this product will be another summer favourite, that will leave me with a lovely natural summer glow.

Want to know what some of the makeup products that i like to travel with? Then you can catch up on some of my previous travel beauty posts for more...

TRAVEL | TWENTY-FIVE MUST DO THINGS IN ROME, ITALY

Hello everyone! Seeing as we are fast approaching the summer holidays, where we all tend to take a trip at some stage before the season is over and even if it is just getting away for a few days, it is still nice to just head off somewhere. With that in mind i thought i would share with you twenty-five must do things if you visit one of my favourite places i have ever been, which is Rome. If you are yet to visit Rome and it isn't on your must-go to list of places, then i highly recommend that you do...

1. visit inside and outside the Colosseum
2. visit the Pantheon (it is simply beautiful)
3. visit Vatican City
4. toss a coin in the Trevi Fountain
5. visit and climb the Spanish Steps
6. try as many different Gelato's as you can (chocolate hazelnut is a must)
7. pizza for lunch, pasta for dinner is a must
8. order a cappuccino at a café (but not after 11am, any time after that is considered a no no to the Italians, after that time order an espresso)
9. visit the shops on the Piazza di Spagna (at the bottom of the Spanish steps)
10. visit the Piazza Novona (popular restaurant/café spot)
11. take in the sights at St.Peter's Square
12. visit St.Peter's Basilica
13. whilst in Vatican City, visit the Vatican Museums
14. visit the Roman Forum (located near the Colosseum)
15. visit/tour the Sistine Chapel
16. visit Villa Borghese (large beautiful park away from the city bustle)
17. climb Paletine Hill for the beautiful view
18. climb the Janiculum hill (steep but worth it for the view alone)
19. take the Pope's secret escape route at Il Passetto di Borgo
20. wander the ancient Thermal Baths at Le Terme di Caracalla
21. visit inside Santo Stefano Rotondo (the first circular church in Rome)
22. take in the sights of the Arch of Constantine (next to the Colosseum)
23. when in Europe (out of the UK anyway) always visit a Sephora
24. never skip dessert, when in Rome isn't just a saying
25. take as many pictures of the beautiful architecture as you can

TRAVEL BEAUTY | TEN PRODUCT WEEKEND MAKEUP BAG

Hello everyone! I know i only shared a "what's in my travel makeup bag" post just last month, but i am going away for the weekend and i didn't want to take too many products with me (literally just the bare essentials). So as i was thinking of what products i could pack, as well as knowing what products would be compact/used for multiple things and i managed to get it down to a ten product makeup bag which for me is quite a challenge, as half of the time i love to over-pack and bring about five too many lip products that i don't end up reaching for...

Seeing as i was only taking a small amount of products and i didn't need a huge wash/makeup bag, i decided to go with one of the smaller sized skinnydip makeup bags and you can get them from the skinnydip site/stores, ASOS, topshop and now beautybay.com too. I personally always use these makeup bags, as they always come in cute patterns yet are still see-through and you can not only see what you are looking for but also you can fit so much inside of them. Another thing i did to cut down on the amount of products i needed to take, by doing my eyebrows the night before using the revolution brow tint in the shade dark brown leaving it on for the full two hours and this way i know my brows are going to be good for the whole weekend.

nuxe huile prodigeiuse (sample/travel size)
So something that i use every single day is this dry oil by Nuxe and i love to apply it right before i do my makeup, so this is an essential for me. The only downside was when i was to travel with it, it is huge as it comes in a 50ml glass bottle and i was always scared it was going to smash. That being said i recently received a bag full of mini Nuxe products, including a mini version of this perfect for taking away with me.

l'oréal infallible pro-glow foundation in the shade 205
My foundation of choice for the weekend is the pro-glow by L'Oréal, not only because it comes in a squeeze-y plastic compact tuble, rather than a glass bottle but also because i know it is going to look good/last all day.

ps my perfect colour concealer in the shade nude beige
This concealer is pretty much my everyday go-to concealer, so i know that it is going look good and last all day long without creasing etc. This concealer is also super slim and compact.

bareMinerals invisible light powder duo
So my powder of choice is probably not the most travel friendly size-wise but by taking other things that are more compact, does make for some room and i know this powder is going to do what i need it to do. As this is a powder duo, it has one side that is a matte powder perfect for the t-zone area to control shine and a glow powder side on the other for other areas of the face.

bareMinerals gold obsession chandelight glow illuminator
This is actually a product that i mentioned in my previous post, which is also a good one for travelling with as it is a cream to powder product and there is no need to pack two individual products.

bronze bronze queen bronzer in the shade sunset
This bronzer has pretty much been my go-to everyday bronzer for both warming up the face and used on my eyes, for a quick bronzed eye look ever since i picked it up last month. Skipping on the hefty eyeshadow palettes and just using bronzer is perfect for travelling, as you are multi using products and cutting down on space.

ps pro hd mascara in the shade black
Another everyday favourite from Primark is this ps pro HD mascara and i have mentioned before how it is a great dupe for my favourite KIKO 30 day lash treatment mascara, yet this one is only £3. I would normally take a sample sized mascara i have from MAC but i seem to have miss-placed them so this one has to be packed.

mac pro longwear waterproof brow set in the shade brown/ebony
Talking of products from MAC, the only thing when doing my makeup to my brows is to brush through them with some brow gel once my makeup is all done. This has become my favourite brow gel i have ever used, it also happens to be super travel friendly sized.

mac lip pencil in the shade stripdown
So for the final two items, they were probably the two hardest items to choose and know what to pack and this is probably why i usually end up packing way too many. That being said when i reached a decision i decided to go with stripdown liner, as it looks good on its own as well as with pretty much any other lip product applied on-top because of its creamy beige/brown colour.

charlotte tilbury hot lips lipstick in the shade KKW
Finally for lipstick i decided to go with a trusty handbag favourite of mine, which happens to be a perfect shade of nude for the time of year. Another reason why i decided to go with this lipstick is because i know it is super pigmented, creamy/hydrating on the lips and of course long-wearing. I also love the way it looks paired with stripdown liner, as it adds a touch of pink to the beige/brown liner creating a beautiful nude.

EIGHT PRODUCTS TO KEEP YOU SMELLING BEACH-Y THIS SUMMER

Hello everyone! Following Friday's instalment where i talked about all things Travel lusting, which you can catch up on here if you didn't do so already. It really got me in the mood for talking all things summer, as well as getting in the summer mood (especially with all the lovely weather we have been having recently). One of my favourite things about summer is those typical beach-y scents, especially coconut scented products. With that in mind for today's post i thought i would share you eight products that will keep you smelling beach-y this summer...

When it comes to hair, a lot of us tend to be made up of at least 85% dry shampoo come the end of the week and more so during the summer months. Not only does this dry shampoo leave your hair smelling all tropical and coconut scented, it will also leave your hair looking and feeling fresh/sweat-free. The best thing about this dry shampoo is you aren't left with that annoying white powder finish, some other brand dry shampoos have.

Who doesn't love a good tan during the summer? in-fact i love a good tan all year round and there is a way to have a tan without smelling like biscuits. There are so many different brands on the market at the moment launching coconut scented tanning products but this one from Freshly Baked London, is a lot more affordable than some others costing just £14 compared to over £30 from those other brands.

If taking the more natural/raw products are more your thing, you can still keep yourself smelling beach-y with this limited edition coconut oil with argan oil. How genius this this oil? as it is the perfect mix of two of my favourite go-to formulas that i know work wonders for my skin and hair. This will also not break the bank as it retails for just £2.49 for a 125ml tub.

4. bath & body works copper coconut 3-wick candle
Keeping the beach-y themed scents alive beyond the way you smell personally, you can also keep your home smelling summery also simply by switching up your candles. This copper coconut candle is the perfect mix of coconut and a day at the beach type of scent, with the added warmth in its notes. Another favourite of mine is the coconut splash candle by Yankee Candle, which i featured in my latest must-try spring/summer candles post.

5. being by sanctuary spa hibiscus and coconut water body mist
I have always been a fan of Sanctuary Spa products, but i am completely obsessed with this Being range from the brand. First of all how cute is all of the packaging? Second of all they have a wide range of different products, several scented body mists included and this one hands down has to be my favourite because of the summery scent it throws off. This body mist is the perfect mix of sweet, yet exotic/slightly fruity with a hint of warmth.

6. primark bronze dewy glow gold face & body butter
I have mentioned a couple of these products from the Bronze collection at Primark in a recent testing primark beauty first impressions post and in that post i mentioned how obsessed i am with this range, especially the dewy glow face and body butter. I have been wearing this every single day since i picked it up, i love how dewy yet natural this makes your skin look as well as adding the perfect golden glow and what makes this product that much better is that it smells like coconut.

7. palmer's coconut oil formula products
One of my favourite coconut scented ranges definitely has to be the one by Palmer's and for so many different reasons. Not only do the brand got the scent of coconut perfect, the products actually work especially for me and my normal-dry skin type. Some of my favourite go-to products which i reach for a lot are the weightless shine dry oil, the body lotion and the leave-in conditioner. I actually recently switched up my "everyday tan" to a palmer's one and i am really enjoying using it.

8. bath & body works island white sand super smooth body lotion
One of the most effective ways to leave you smelling all beach-like and "coconutty" is probably going to be from smothering yourself in lotion, which is not only going to make your skin smell delicious, it is also going to keep your skin super soft and hydrated. Your skin need moisture all year round, as the cold can draw out the moisture but so can the sun and warmth. There are so many different coconut scented body lotions available to buy from as little as £1, favourites of mine are the Boots own brand, the Palmer's one and also the M&S essentials one.

TRAVEL WISHLIST #4 | SUMMER EDITION

Hello everyone! So just under a year ago now i shared the third instalment in my travel wishlist series and since then i have added to the list some more, especially those perfect summer holiday destinations. I also feel like a bunch of the items i shared in my recent things i'm loving on prettylittlething right now post, would be perfect for some if not all of these destinations in part four...

I have been to Italy and several places in Italy but they were all "city break" type of holidays, like Rome, Florence and Pisa. There is obviously so much more to Italy than just those places, like Positano for example which is a beautiful looking cliff-side village on the Amalfi Coast. Positano looks like once of those places for perfect views out into the ocean, sight seeing and beautiful little streets and stores.

Sticking with the whole town/village in Italy type destination, another place which i am itching to visit is Sorrento and another place which has a coastal view. Just like Positano, Sorrento has this super beautiful view looking out at the ocean for miles, yet it is a town full of culture, history and beautiful buildings. My parents have been to Sorrento and that made me so jealous, making me want to go even more.

Capri is probably one of those places that i would visit on a day trip (which i believe most people do when on holiday in Sorrento), Capri is a beautiful looking island located in the bay of Naples, filled with stunning views, beautiful little side streets and from what i have heard some yummy seafood dishes. Also talking of food a trip to anywhere in Italy is worth it, simply for their Gelato as it is honestly the best gelato ever.

Finally somewhere that isn't located in Italy, this time in Portugal and somewhere i have never really thought about going to until recently. I have noticed one or two people have uploaded vlogs from trips to Lisbon and it honestly looks so beautiful, kind of similar to Italy in some way with the beautiful old buildings and stunning views. The main reason i really want to go is to try a proper authentic Portuguese Custard Tart, because i love them whenever i have had them in this country, yet i have heard they are out of this world there and let's face it...don't we all want to visit certain places just for the food?

WHAT'S IN MY MAKEUP BAG | TRAVEL EDITION

Hello everyone! When i was recently thinking what to pack into my makeup bag, i suddenly realised that it has actually been a hot minute since i last did a "what's in my makeup bag" post and the reason for that being i don't usually use a makeup bag unless i am travelling somewhere. So i thought this would be the perfect opportunity to share with you, what i decided to pack as well as a couple of makeup items that i can't seem to put down...

So the makeup bag that i am using is the same one that i featured in my previous "what's in my makeup bag" post, simply because i am still obsessed with everything about it. Even though i picked this up last year, you can still get your hands on it here (peachy wash bag). It is super spacious, easy to clean if you get anything on it or in it and even thought it has a super cute peachy design you can still see inside for what product you are searching for. Moving on to the makeup that i decided to pack, i went for products that i know work well together and mainly focusing on the base as i always do. What i did do though is pack a couple of different lip options, from matte nudes to gloss and even a brighter lip in case i feel like switching things up.

TRAVEL WISHLIST #3

Hello everyone! So just a little over a year ago (last summer) i posted two specific posts talking about the places on my to go list, which you can catch here and here if you haven't done so already. Saying that it has been over a year i thought it was time for an updated version, as some new places have been added to the list including places over seas and places that aren't too far from home, as well as somewhere i want to re-visit.

Even though i have already been to Ibizia, i have only ever gone to San Antonio which is notoriously known for being lively with numerous café's, bars and clubs and that was totally fine for me a few years back. Now i want to head back and see the Old Town and have more of a scenic/relaxing holiday on the island.

Considering Scotland is only a few hours drive away or a short plane/train ride away, it is a fact a place i am yet to visit and i even have family there. Edinburgh seems like such a beautiful city full of history and culture, but i think the Harry Potter fan inside of me is most excited about going to the graveyard where Tom Riddle is ha ha.

San Francisco is one of those places every time i see a picture or something on TV, i lust after going there because it just looks so beautiful. I would love to do all the generic touristy stuff like seeing the golden gate bridge, the painted ladies, riding through the city on one of the trams and visiting lombard street of course.

Finally on this list we have Budapest, please tell me i am not the only person who gets the George Ezra song stuck in their head when i hear the place mentioned? Budapest is another one of those cities that i can't wait to visit for its beautiful buildings, culture and of course the ever so famous snéchenyi thermal bath (spa).

MY HANDBAG ESSENTIALS

Hello everyone! One of my favourite types of videos to watch and posts to read, hands down has to be the "what's in my bag" type i just can't get enough and i have done my fair share of them on my blog through-out the years also. Seeing as it has been a while since my last what's in my... post, i thought why not do an updated version but with a little twist. That twist being just focusing on the essentials, those i can't cope without them being in my bag items (excluding the obvious phone, money and keys ha).

apple earPods aka headphones
One thing i can't cope without is headphones, in fact i am wearing them right now as i type this post out ha ha. So if i am on the go (not whilst i am driving) but on the tram or the train, i have to have my headphones so i can listen to music and of course watch the odd Instagram and Snapchat story.

I spotted this a while back on Birchbox i believe and thought how much it looked like the old school Bath & Body Works hand gel, but then whilst i was browsing in Topshop one day i discovered they sold it when at the tills paying and i picked one up. This has got to be one of the best ones i have every tried, as it not only kills the germs but it also moisturises your hands unlike some sanitizers that dry out your hands. So far i have tried the lollypop one and the flower powder one, but i have to say flower power is my favourite out of the two.

Sticking with the hand theme, the next item i can't deal without having in my bag is a hand cream because my hands do get dry quite quickly and i know that is down to me being an over hand washer. This mini Caudalie hand cream is perfect to keep in your bag, as it doesn't take up any room at all and a little goes a long way. I picked these mini ones up a couple of times, as part of my Feel Unique Pick 'n' Mix Beauty sample service.

Not the most exciting item but still an essential that is probably in most peoples bags, as much as your keys or wallet would be and that is chewing gum. Carrying gum comes in handy for so many reasons, especially if you have eaten something garlic-y at a restaurant ha! I usually carry around the pots of gum around but last time i went to get one, they didn't have any one the Extra Ice ones in pot version so i just picked up a single packet.

This particular scent was in my previous what's in my handbag post and i had mentioned how handy these are to just throw in your bag, they don't take any room up and you don't have to worry about the bottle smashing. So i always just pick up one of these from primark once i am running low, as they are so in-expensive but it also smells insane for a cheaper scent and that is hard to come by.

Finally moving on-to the good stuff and i try so hard to keep my handbag lip products to a minimum these days, unlike before when more than half of my bag would be lipsticks. Seeing as this lip liner is one of my favourites of all time, i had to go and do a repeat performance like i used to do with Créme D' Nude lipstick and have one in my collection and one in my handbag. This lip liner is super creamy, easy to apply, long-wearing and literally the most perfect nude that goes with every nude.

For my birthday i got a MAC voucher so i picked up a few new nude lipsticks that i had my eye on and wanted to add to the collection, this shade called Peachstock being one of them. I didn't expect to fall in love with this colour as much as i have, i now love it more than Honeylove and Créme D' Nude. Peachstock is just the most perfect peachy, light beige toned lipstick that you can just pop on quick and easy.

Finally the last lip product that i always have to take out with me in my handbag and currently along side Peachstock, is one of my favourite go-to nude lip colours. The shade Naked by ABH is honestly my perfect nude in a tube, which i mentioned when i did a finally trying ABH liquid lipsticks post last month and i haven't been able to put it down since.

THINGS TO DO WHEN YOU WANT A LITTLE BREAK FROM THE INTERNET

Hello everyone! The majority of us human beings now spend more time in the day on the internet than we do sleeping at night, me included. Obviously when your job revolved around the internet/social-media you are spending a lot of time online, as well as spending time online "off-duty" so to speak. With that in mind as much as we all love the internet, it is still nice to take a step back and have a little break from it for a while (even if it is just an hour). For today's post i thought i would share with you some great things to, when you need to escape and take that break (trust me it will do you good from time to time).

1. read a book, whether that be a paperback/hard back or kindle.
2. watch your favourite feel-good movie, or a new movie you haven't seen before.

5. give yourself a manicure/pedicure, i like to do this and listen to music.
6. go for a walk, whether that be simply down the street or in the woods/park.

SUMMER CANDLE LUST LIST: CANDLES DIRECT

Hello everyone! So if you have read my posts for a while now or you know me personally, then you will already know what a candle addict i am. A couple of months ago i shared with you all my favourite spring time candles, which you can catch here if you missed it first time round. Now that we are moving into the more summer months, i have my eye on so many of the summer scents/limited edition candles on Candles Direct, which if you read my favourite places to shop online post you will know that it is the site where i get all of my Yankee Candles from. With that in mind for today's post i thought i would share with you my summer candle lust list.

1. yankee candle riviera escape large jar
First up is actually a candle that i recently purchased, which i just had to mention because this smells incredible. It was one of those purchases where you take the plunge without even smelling it first, which i was so unsure about but i am so glad i did now because i am obsessed. The scent is a mixture of like beach home-like scent with a slight floral undertone to it and it is the perfect fresh summer fragrance.

2. yankee candle summer scoop large jar candle
Next up on my lust list is actually a summer candle that has been a favourite of mine for so many years, as it is a classic summer line candle. There is literally no other way to describe this candle other than that is smells like a fruity flavoured ice-cream, which is perfect to burn when you are in the mood for something sweet.

3. yankee candle lake sunset large jar candle
Another candle that i have actually just re-purchased before typing up this post ha, as i had one last summer and i really enjoyed burning it from start to finish. The scent of this candle is simply beautiful and fresh smelling with the perfect mix of musk, this candle to me is perfect for burning on summer evenings.

4. yankee candle delicious guava large candle jar
I believe this specific candle scent is new in for the summer, which has me super intrigued to smell as i really love any tropical scent, even though i am not a complete fan of pure fruit scented candles, i would sooner they have that sweet dessert notes incorporated through-out. But that being said as it is more of a tropical scent, i have a feeling i will love it.

5. village candle summer slices large candle jar
I have mentioned in a post before that i am actually yet to try the Village Candle candles, but this summer they have a couple of scents available that have left me lusting after them. Village Candles packaging/fragrances are super similar to Yankee Candle yet a couple of ££ cheaper. Like i mentioned before with the delicious guava candle i am not a complete fruity fragrance fan (except for tropical) and watermelon couldn't be more summer.

There is a funny background story to this specific candle, a couple of years ago we had one in the house and it accidentally got smashed, so we ended up taking it out of the jar and burning it on a candle tray. Obviously because the candle wasn't in a jar, the scent filled the whole house with this beautiful warm vanilla-y, fresh beach scent for so long which now whenever i smell this candle it makes me think of summer at home.

Another candle from the brand Village Candle and another scent that screams summer to me, this time in the form of a citrus-y scent of lime and lemons and the best part tequila. This candle just reminds me of a summer vacation in a jar, sitting in the sun sipping a cocktail or two. I actually mentioned this specific candle scent in a tropical trend for summer post last month.

Finally another candle by Yankee Candle but this time one available on the actual site, as it is one of the USA limited edition exclusive fragrances. There is just something about this candle that really makes me want to pick one up, i think it is as it would be super calming smelling with the notes of lavender but also it has a sweetness to it with the honey and vanilla of the gelato.

WHAT'S IN MY TRAVEL MAKEUP BAG

Hello everyone! In a recent post all about the tropical trend for summer, i mentioned not only how much i love love love skinnydip makeup/wash bags but also if you wanted to see an updated "what's in my travel makeup bag" post. So seeing as recently i was packing up my makeup for travel, i thought why not share with you what is in my makeup bag this time around. If you didn't catch my previous one, then you can catch up on that here.

So this is the makeup bag i am currently using and it is the peachy washbag by skinnydip, i have mentioned so many times before how much i love these bags simply because of their cool prints and most importantly because of how much you can fit into them. As you can see i have managed to fit a ton of stuff into it, including the two new palettes by zoeva. When it comes down to packing a travel makeup bag, i like to pack what i know works for me, as well as what i can do multiple looks with and also a couple of different lip options. All links for the products inside of my makeup bag will be linked below, if you want to know where i got them from.

BEAUTY TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

Hey guys, hope you're having a great day whatever you are up to! We all make that massive mistake of over packing to travel away somewhere, so i thought i would share with you some of the handy tips i have come across to help save space and travel lighter...

Travel Storage.
One of the most handy things when travelling is a Makeup brush case, this Real Techniques one i have is so compact yet fits all the brushes i need as well as my tweezers. I like to put my brushes all in one place and also as they are in this case they are protected from not getting anything nasty on them. Another added bonus is this one actually fits inside of my makeup bag.

Makeup Brush Holder (included with the core collection face kit) - £20.99 Real Techniques.
Other makeup brushes are a mixture of Real Techniques and MUA.
Tweezers are No7 from Boots.
Makeup Bag - Ted Baker Medium Wash Bag (last year's collection).

Mini Products.
There is nothing more weighty to your luggage than travelling with all your full size products such as shampoo, shower gel, etc. There is so many travel sized versions of your daily favourites available at the drugstore or online.

Tresemmé Keratin Smooth Shampoo (100ml) - £1.50 Superdrug.
The Body Shop Shower Gel (60ml) - £2 The Body Shop.
Soap & Glory Scrub of your Life (50ml) - £2.50 Boots.

Palettes.
Palettes are the best thing to have in your makeup bag when it comes to putting your face on whilst travelling. Choose a palette with a wide range of different shades so you can create different makeup looks yet you aren't carrying lots of different products around with you. Another great tip is using different products for different things for example use your bronzer as a transition shade for your eye makeup.

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette - £22 Feel Unique (or various department stores).
Sleek Face Form Contouring and Blush Palette (light) - £9.99. (This is an amazing and compact palette where you can have your bronzer, blush and highlight in one place).
MUA Undress Me Too Palette - £4 Superdrug. (Bargain palette and amazing quality).
