BOOK REVIEW: GENTLEMAN SINNER BY JODI ELLEN MALPAS

Hello everyone! So for today's post i wanted to do something a little different to what i normal would, when it comes to talking anything and everything about books. Usually i would just talk about a bunch of different books that i want to read or what i have recently read and only give you a brief review on my thoughts. With that in mind, i really wanted to switch things up and be able to go into more detail about my current reads and of course i have to kick things off with my most recent read by one of my favourite author's...

 SYNOPSIS:
Izzy White knows of the darkness in this world. After all, she escaped it long ago. Determined not to let her past beat her, Izzy has a secure, stable life with a job she loves in nursing. But one act of kindness will completely upend everything she's so carefully built-putting her right back in the crosshairs of danger she's been so desperate to avoid. When Theo Kane shows up like a knight in shining armor, Izzy can't help thinking she's been saved from one threat and exposed to another. His imposing physique, the harsh lines of his face, and the wariness of everyone who comes close are just a few clues to Theo Kane's notorious reputation. The man is positively terrifying. But with Izzy, he's tender and a complete gentleman, and her fascination with the mysterious beast of a man becomes too powerful for her to walk away. As Theo's demons come to light, running becomes even more impossible. And yet staying together could doom them both.

MY REVIEW:
As i have mentioned on several occasions and in numerous posts, Jodi Ellen Malpas is hands down my favourite author and i am beyond excited whenever she announces something new. When she releases a new book you know you are going get something that sucks you in from the very first page, with a red hot romance and a gripping story line which has darkness to it and the Gentleman Sinner was just that and more. First of all i just have to mention how when you think you have a favourite male character created by Jodi nailed, she only goes and introduces everyone to a brand new one that throws you off, Theo Kane doing just that!

So the book is obviously from Izzy's perspective and it kicks off straight in at the deep end, with her finishing a shift at the hospital she works in as a nurse. As she is walking home from work she hears a woman in distress, Izzy only has a tiny moment of hesitation where she should keep walking but then her nursing instinct kicks in just like that and she is straight down a dark alley to come to the woman's aid. Little did she know this would lead to landing right in the lap of a mysterious man who she would immediately drop her guard for and let straight into her heart, considering Izzy also has a dark history which is full of secrets.

Through-out the first few chapters of the book you kind of know pretty much what Izzy's past is, just by putting the pieces together yourself with things that are said and triggers of hers but obviously it takes you a little longer to figure out what Theo's secrets and reasons for being the way he is. I felt like Theo was fairly different to a lot of the other male characters as he obviously like the majority has a dark past and is also dominating/controlling and very protective but i also feel like with Izzy he was so different and a complete 180 to how he was with everyone else in his life, including his family but obviously when you finally discover the reason his being the way he has been for all those years you really feel his pain.

Even though the book ended with a epilogue from Theo's point of view in the future, i am really hoping this isn't the last we see of these characters. I also would love, love, love something focused on Jess (Izzy's best friend) and Callum (Theo's friend/driver/bodyguard) as their chemistry through-out the book was amazing and hilarious, even though during the epilogue we discovered they still hadn't got it on...i still have hope they will.

Overall i give this book a 4.5 out of 5, the .5 is just because i didn't want the book to end. That being said even though i am currently suffering from a book boyfriend hangover, all will be forgiven on Thursday as Jodi's book The Protector is being released on Passionflix in movie form and words can't describe how excited i am!

NEW + UPCOMING BOOKS I WANT TO READ

Hello everyone! If you caught my recent january must-buys post then you will have seen me talking about a certain book that was on my must-buy list for the month. I had also mentioned previously that i wanted to get back into reading a lot more regularly, as i had neglected doing just that over the past couple of months. With that in mind for today's post, i thought i would share with you the new and upcoming books i want to read...

1. damien: a stark novel (stark saga book six) by j.kenner | buy on amazon |
First up is the very book i shared in my January must-buys post and one i am excited to pick up and binge read, just as i have done with every other book in the series. The thing that sets this book aside from the others, is the fact that it is from Damien's p.o.v rather than his wife Nikki's. The stark series also has a bunch of novellas all part of the series, which are all as equally binge-worthy.

2. boyfriend for hire by kendall ryan | pre-order on amazon |
Next up is an upcoming release from one of my favourite authors Kendall Ryan, which i discovered by chance last year, which led to me reading a good handful of her books and i loved every single one of them! The story of this standalone to me seems very Wedding Date movie story line, which is one of my favourite movies. This book will be released on the 19th February.

3. birthday suit by lauren blakely | buy on amazon |
This new release from another newly discovered author last year and one that i am looking forward to downloading onto my Kindle, is titled Birthday Suit. The story line to Birthday Suit is very much a case of falling in love with your best friends woman, full of twists and turns.

4. the consequence of falling by claire contreras | buy on kindle |
This book is a new release from an author i have never read anything from before, that being said i have seen on Goodreads that it received really good reviews as well as being on the weeks most-read list. This book sounds like it has a story line of a love hate relationship between the two main characters but obviously as the title suggests, there is more than likely going to be consequences for falling for the "forbidden".

5. gentleman sinner by jodi ellen malpas | pre-order on amazon |
Now next is probably the book i am most looking forward out of all of them, as it is the next book release from my favourite ever author. The Gentleman Sinner is released on the 5th February, which is the same month as Jodi's movie from the book The Protector is released on Passionflix and i am so excited, as it is definitely one of my favourites from all of her books.

6. faking it by k.bromberg | buy on kindle |
Sticking with a book series turned tv series on Passionflix by the author K.Bromberg, who is the very talented writer of the Driven Series and the author of this new release titled Faking It. Until Driven was due to be released on Passionflix, i had never heard of the author but i decided to read the series before it was released on screen and i loved every single page, which is why i am very much looking forward to delving into her latest standalone.

7. we shouldn't by vi keeland | pre-order on amazon |
Finally is a book/audiobook by the author Vi Keeland and one that is highly recommended audio book, which if i am being honest is something i have never thought about doing. I am always looking to give different authors a read, rather than sticking to a select few and i loved the "quickie" that Vi Keeland wrote for Passionflix at the end of last year, so i am definitely looking forward to either giving this a try in audiobook version or paperback!

SIX MUST BINGE-READ BOOKS THIS MONTH

Hello everyone! If you read my recent august must-buys post, then you will have probably seen me mention in that post about a book that i had been reading recently and i was going to be talking more about it in an upcoming post. Last year and this year i have read so many different books/book series's, that i thought i was about time i put into one post some of my favourite books that are definitely book binge worthy...

the smoke + mirrors duology book series by jodi ellen malpas
Regarded as down to earth by the press and rebellious by The King, Princess Adeline refuses to bow to the royal expectations her title carries. She knows better than anyone that the united front of the royal family is nothing but smoke and mirrors - lies and secrets masked by power and privilege. She wants no part of it, and she will never surrender to The King’s demand to marry a man she does not love but despite Adeline's determination to retain her free will, she remains deeply unfulfilled, feeling caged and suffocated. That is until she meets Josh Jameson, drawn in by his confidence Adeline is soon captivated by the scandalously sexy American actor. His ability to penetrate her defences overwhelms her - his touch is pure fire, and his allure overpowering. Nothing has ever made her feel so alive in a world where she’s otherwise slowly drowning. However, while Josh may be Hollywood royalty, he’s not actual royalty, and Adeline knows The King and his advisers will do everything in their power to keep them apart.

come as you are (stand alone novel) by lauren blakely
For one fantastic evening, at a masquerade party in the heart of Manhattan, I’m not the millionaire everyone wants a piece of. Fine—multimillionaire. But who’s counting all those commas? Not me, and not the most intriguing woman I've ever met, who happens to like dancing, witty banter, and hot, passionate up-against-the-wall sex as much as I do. There's no need for names or business cards. And that’s why I’m eager to get to know her more, since my mystery woman seems to like me for me, rather than for my huge…bank account. Everything’s coming up aces. Until the next day when things get a little complicated. (Newsflash a lot complicated).

night after night seductive nights series by lauren blakely
Their world was sex, love, and lies. He intoxicated her. Commanded. Consumed. With a dirty mind and a mouth to match, Clay Nichols is everything Julia never knew she wanted and exactly what she cannot have. He walked into her life one night and unlocked pleasure in her that she never knew was possible. Possessing her body, captivating her every thought. Which makes him way too dangerous for Julia to risk her heart, given that she has a price tag on her head. She ran after one mind-blowing week with him, but now he's back, and determined to make her his own no matter the cost. She was a sexy drug to him. Fiery, unforgettable, and never enough, Julia is an enigma, and Clay isn't willing to let her go without a fight. But she's got dark secrets of her own that threaten to destroy any chance of happiness. She's a wanted woman the stakes are high, her every move is watched, and yet the lure between them can't be denied. Can two people burned by love trust again when desire and passion are met by danger at every turn?

mister tonight (stand alone novel) by kendall ryan
Last night was the most embarrassing night of my life. I was that girl. You know, the highly intoxicated chick celebrating her thirtieth birthday with her two best friends—who are happily married. And the more I drank, the more I wanted to do something reckless to celebrate. By reckless, I mean the sexy and alluring man dressed in a business suit standing near the bar. You know his type tall, dark, handsome. I was sure he was out of my league, but I’d had just enough alcohol that things like that no longer seemed to matter. I’m not fat, mind you, but you can tell I like french fries, so there’s that. He took me home, and I enjoyed the hottest birthday sex of my life. Well, until it came to a screeching and rather unwelcome halt. There’s nothing quite like being interrupted mid-ride with a little voice asking, “What are you doing to my daddy?” Just kill me now or so I thought.

baby daddy (stand alone novel) by kendall ryan
We met in a trapped elevator. Emmett was on his way to work, sophisticated and handsome in his tailored suit and tie. I was on my way to the sperm bank. Awkward, right? At thirty-five, my life hadn’t taken the path I thought it would and I was tired of waiting—I wanted a baby. And I was ready to take matters into my own hands to make it happen. After our ill-fated elevator encounter, Emmett insisted on taking me to dinner—he also insisted on something else—that I ditch my plan involving a turkey baster and let him do the job. He would be my baby daddy. He was a wealthy and powerful CEO with little interest in diapers or playdates. And since he didn’t want kids, I’d be on my own once his bun was in my oven, free to go my own way but once his baby was inside me, it was like a switch had been flipped, and I got a whole lot more than I ever bargained for.

MARCH FAVOURITES | BEAUTY + LIFESTYLE

Hello everyone! Finally, finally, finally we are officially in Spring, which hopefully means we are going to be getting some warmer weather some time soon. Putting that a side i still can't believe that we are about to say goodbye to another month, i'm pretty sure it was new year's five minutes ago. This month as i haven't got all that many beauty and lifestyle favourites to do individual posts, so i thought i would switch things up and combine the two..

So i have been wanting to try something else out from Mario Badescu, after discovering my love for the drying lotion and i had actually seen a fair few people talking about/using the facial spray, so i decided to give it a go myself. The facial spray comes in three different fragrances, aloe herbs and rose water (which i have), aloe chamomile and lavender and then also aloe cucumber and green tea. This spray leaves your skin feeling refreshed and hydrated without completely wetting your face through, how some facial sprays do. I love how pretty affordable the products are for a more "high-end" brand, as this facial spray for the large 236ml one it is only £11 and the MAC ones cost anything from £12 for the small one and £19 for only 100ml of product.

Next up is the foundation that i have been reaching for pretty much every single day since i first tried it, which i didn't think that would of ever been the case. I have never found that stick foundations work for my normal/slightly dry skin-type but this one works so well and lasts all day long, whilst still looking flawlessly applied. Usually when you are using a stick foundation you have to use a brush to blend it out, which i am not a fan of doing but this foundation blends out flawlessly with a beauty blender. (foundation review post)

Last but not least for the beauty favourites this month, is actually a lip combination that i discovered i love only last week and it is literally just lip liner and gloss - super simple. I finally picked up some of the Morphe Lip Liners from BeautyBay recently and i love them, they are super pigmented, creamy and easy to work with. This shade bamboo is the most beautiful "soft sand" almost light beige nude shade and when applied all over the lips and then topped with a little of golden shimmer gloss from ABH, it looks simply stunning and i am obsessed!

I had mentioned in a recent things to binge on in the evenings/weekend post that i had been binge re-reading one of my favourite series of books called This Man, before the release of the all new book and that day came last week. Of course as soon as it was delivered to my door, all my plans for the evening was cancelled to start reading it. Once again Jodi has done an amazing job of captivating you and sucking you back in to all things Jesse and i simply can't put it down, which i am actually amazed i have managed to read properly as from Chapter six on-wards i couldn't stop being tear-y. Talk about a book filled of all the feels and emotions!

Sticking with the whole romance theme, this time a book turned movie bought to you via Passionflix a service that i have spoken about before. This was also a new release this month and i was super excited to watch it, as i have loved every other movie they have released and i was not disappointed so much so i have seen the movie twice now! I also believe that this movie is going to have a sequel to it, which i can't wait for and i might have to indulge in the book series before this happens (which i have done now with a couple of the movies).

THINGS TO BINGE ON IN THE EVENING (OR AT THE WEEKEND)

Hello everyone! So when we have reached the end of a long day, there is nothing more that we want to do than remove our makeup, wash the day off and get into our favourite pair of pyjamas. Once we have done the following steps, we tend to either sit in front of the tv and binge watch or pick up a good book. With that in mind for today's post i thought i would share some of my favourite binge-worthy things to do in the evening time...

If you are looking for a great binge worthy TV show to watch and you have never seen it before, then you definitely need to give Grey's Anatomy a watch or even a re-watch if you have followed the show from day one. It might be on it's 14th season, but it is definitely a show you don't want to miss out on especially if you love a good medical drama. I am also looking forward to the new spin-off show called Station 19, which is all about a fire station in Seattle just like Grey's Anatomy!

If Netflix is more your thing and are looking for a show to binge on rather than a movie, then Suits is definitely one to give a go. I watched the show from day one but then i stopped watching it around season four for some reason, that being said i recently picked it up again and i wonder why i stopped watching it in the first place. If you aren't sure what exactly Suits is already, then it is a super intense legal drama surrounding a top legal firm in NY.

If you have read my posts before, especially book related ones then you will probably already know that Jodi Ellen Malpas is my favourite author and i am obsessed with every single one of her books. With that in mind next week she is launching book number four in her best selling This Man series, which i literally can't wait for so much so i have been binge re-reading the series before it is launched and i am almost ready for starting book three. If you are looking for a new book series to delve straight into, then this is definitely the one to binge on.

4. quantico (netflix linked)
Next up is a show i actually recently started watching and i am hooked, you can watch it on either Netflix, Now TV or Virgin TV box sets. This show is a perfect watch if you love a good thrilling drama, which is based around the FBI, crime etc. I wasn't sure what i was going to think about this show and it is probably the quickest 10 minutes which is really 40+ minutes episode ever, it literally goes that fast because of how gripping it is.

5. shadowhunters (netflix linked)
If something more on the supernatural side of things, then Shadowhunters is the show you need to watch as it is everything supernatural in one show. Yet again another show where each episode goes by super quickly, leaving feeling all the feels and wanting more each week. Binge-watch season one and two, before season three which starts March 21st on Netflix.

6. altered carbon (netflix linked)
Another show which is more on the dark side of things and a well talked about/trending Netflix original series, that i have only just finally gotten around to starting after so many people telling me how good it is. It is such a gripping series, dark, action packed and definitely one of those shows you need to have your full attention on.

7. passionflix original movies
I have spoken about how much i have been loving the PassionFlix service (which you can also buy and rent the movies from Amazon video), as it is a lot of your favourite romance books/series's turned into movies and TV shows. The This Man book series is going to be turned into a TV series, which is just everything and more. There is a new release in the form of The Matchmaker's Playbook, starring the ever so dreamy Nick Bateman and i can't wait to give it a watch.
Finally another book series by Jodi Ellen Malpas worth binge-reading is the One Night Series, which once i am done with being on Cloud Nine Jesse i might have to re-read myself again. If you are a sucker for a good romance/alpha male, then this book series/any of Jodi's books are definitely for you and i just can't get enough of them!

MUSIC, TV + BOOKS AT THE MOMENT | FEBRUARY

Hello everyone! Just a little over a month ago now, i shared my current non-beauty favourites from tv, books, fashion and of course music. In that post i shared a couple of things that i was listening to/watching/reading at that moment in time, as well as some of things i was looking forward to. With that in mind for today's post i thought why not share an updated version of my music, books and tv favourites at the moment...

dvsn - sept 5th (spotify album linked)
So to kick things off with the album that i have been listening to pretty much every single day recently and i am literally obsessed with it, even though it was first released in 2016. I had only ever listened to a couple of songs by dvsn before, including one on Majid Jordan's latest album but i decided to listen to some more from them. Out of the two albums the Sept 5th album is definitely my favourite and i love every single track on it, that being said my ultimate favourites from the album are With Me, Too Deep, Hallucinations and Do It Well.

fifty shades freed soundtrack (spotify album linked)
I loved so many songs from the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack and the case has been the same if not more from the final instalment, which i have been to see twice now at the cinema and it was literally everything and more! Just like the previous two soundtracks some tracks were just instrumental rather than lyrical, which i tend to only listen to the lyrical ones. My favourites from this soundtrack are Sacrifice, Heaven, Capital Letters, Heaven, High and of course the official song for the movie For You.

spotify single playlists linked
god's plan cover - william singe | pray for me - kendrick lamar + the weeknd | god's plan - drake | when we (remix) - tank, ty dolla $ign + trey songz | nuh ready nuh ready - calvin harris + partynextdoor | the weekend (funky wav remix) - sza + calvin harris | my lover - not3s + mabel |

afterburn aftershock movie (amazon video link) (passionflix link)
If you saw my Valentine's post a little over a week ago, sharing eight films to watch this Valentine's day evening then you will already have read me talking about this particular film. Just in case you didn't though, this is a romance book (which i have read) turned into a film by PassionFlix and i ended up loving it equally as much as the book, so much so i have seen it three times ever since first watching it. I also loved the film Hollywood Dirt by the same PassionFlix service, which i also mentioned in my Valentine's Day related post (catch up here).

aurora teagarden tv movies (hallmark movies + mysteries linked)
So the other week i was searching for something to watch and i thought why not give these Aurora Teagarden murder mysteries movies a try, as i had seen Candace Cameron Bure saying she was on set for the latest movie over on her Instagram stories. I didn't expect to become as hooked as i have on them, so much so i have already watched four of them. There is also a bunch of different yet similar murder mysteries on Hallmark, which i might watch after i have watched all of the current ones from the Aurora Teagarden movies.
Finally moving onto books and if you read my recent books i want to read in 2018 (part one) post, then you will probably already know how excited i am for the new instalment of the This Man series by one of my favourite authors, which is being released next month. With that in mind i thought why not re-read the current three books just to refresh my memory (that being said once you have read Jesse you will never forget), that guy is intense and i am hoping he hasn't changed in the slightest!

BOOKS I WANT TO READ IN 2018 | PART ONE

Hello everyone! So last year one of my main goals was to read more books and i was so impressed with myself at how many books i managed to read and i loved every minute of it, as well as how many books i ended up really enjoying (including a couple that left me with character withdrawal). That being said my goal again for this year is to continue to read more books again, as i find it is so good for me personally and i have found it great way to just simply take a break. If you didn't catch last years "books i want to read" posts, i will link them at the end of this post and just like those posts i will be doing this years in two parts also.

If you have read any of my previous book related posts, then you will probably already know that Jodi Ellen Malpas is one of my favourite authors and i have loved every single book of hers, especially the This Man series. That being said i literally squealed with joy when i saw that there was going to be a book #4 in the series, this time from the pov of Jesse and literally can't wait to read it once released this March as i have been suffering from a Jesse hangover ever since i finished the All I Am novella.

So i have never read any books by Alessandra Torre before but a friend told me that her books are must reads, especially the now made into a movie book called Hollywood Dirt. That being said when i popped the authors name into google, this new release for a book called Hidden Seams came up and it sounds like the kind of book that i would love. This book was released on January 18th and Hollywood Dirt was released back in 2015.

Another exciting recent announcement by my favourite author which is being released in May this year and a new set of characters and book series called the Smoke and Mirrors series, with The Controversial Princess being book number one. I am not 100% sure if this is going to be available in a paperback version or not, but i know it will be available on Kindle and iBooks.

4. the man in the black suit by sylvain reynard
Last summer i read the Gabriel trilogy by Sylvain Reynard and i loved every single page of each book, so much so i didn't want it to end. If you want to know my full thoughts of that trilogy you can do so here, they are a must read. Keeping that in mind i really want to read the latest novel release called The Man In The Black Suit, as it sounds equally as passionate and dramatic. This book was released in December of last year.

Back in November i did a post all about the books i wanted to read this winter, which you can catch up on here and in that post i mentioned how i wanted to read this particular series by Meredith Wild as i had read her Hacker Series and loved that. That being said i never got around to reading all of the books in the post, as November/December just ended up being super busy and i never got the chance. Talking of the Hacker Series, i think i might re-read them at some stage this year, as they were a favourite book series of mine.

Finally another book from that same post, which i never got around to reading yet i still really want to as i loved the other two in the series even though they were stand alone stories in the wicked series. The thing i have loved about these books so far is they are different stories, yet are still linked within the same world of "characters" from J Kenner's Stark Series of novels which were also favourites of mine.

MY FAVOURITE PICK-ME-UPS

Hello everyone! So we all have those moments from time to time where you are feeling down, not ourselves, stressed from work etc or you are just having one of those bad days when nothing is going right and feel like you need a serious pick-me-up. We all have those go-to little things that we do to, either shake off the bad day/mood or simply just to make ourselves feel better. With that in mind i thought i would share some of my personal favourite pick-me-ups, that always help me out when in need.

1. have a relaxing pamper night.
There is honestly nothing better sometimes after a tough day, than having a nice relaxing pamper night and giving yourself the full works when it comes to beauty treatments. Kicking things off with a nice hot shower, bath bomb filled bubble bath and a good face mask.

2. giving yourself a mani/pedi.
Sticking with the beauty/pamper theme another thing i like to do to not only relax but also to give myself a boost of confidence is giving myself a manicure and pedicure, because there is nothing like having nice and freshly painted nails. I always tend to be the happiest when my nails are a nice nude shade or a vampy autumnal shade, which is very fitting at the moment.

3. applying fake tan.
Another confidence booster for me is being tanned, as i always tend to feel a lot happier in the way i look when i am tanned/have some colour and not feeling ghostly pale. You might think this is more of a time consuming pick-me-up but honestly it is totally worth the up keep, even in the autumn/winter months.

4. listening to music.
Music for me is definitely the quickest form of a pick-me-up if i am feeling down, as i will simply put one my favourite artist/songs/albums at the moment. So i will either listen to music whilst doing other things about the house, or with headphones in. I have so many new artists/tracks that i am loving at the moment, so expect an updated "music at the moment" post sometime soon.

5. scents: candles/room sprays.
Something that is so simple yet so relaxing to me is simply by being in a beautifully scented room, whether that be from lighting a candle or spraying the room with a scented spray. Seeing as we are in autumn at the moment, those are the scents i am opting for such as the "warm cashmere" scented candle by Yankee Candle and the Frosting With Love room spray by Glade that i picked up recently at Home Bargains.

6. reading a book/magazine.
Reading a good book is a great way to help you relax and get out of your head for a little while. For me there is nothing more relaxing sometimes than lighting a candle, putting on some cosy pyjamas, making yourself a hot drink/glass of wine with a good book. When it comes to books i am a suck for a romance book and The Forbidden by my favourite author Jodi Ellen Malpas, is definitely the read of the year for me.

7. binge-watching your favourite show/movie.
I love to binge-watch tv shows, i have always been a season a day kind of girl (well not so much these days) maybe more like two or three episodes now. I always have those specific tv shows that i watch/re-watch to cheer myself up and that is usually some form of sitcom like Will & Grace, Friends or Full/Fuller House. Another go-to of mine and a show i have re-watched from start to finish probably as many times as Friends and that is Sex and the City, because lets face it you can't beat the classics.

8. shopping/online shopping.
Finally probably the most dangerous pick-me-up of them all but sometimes the most effective and that is going shopping/online shopping. I am pretty sure we have all looked into our wardrobes full of clothes, shoes, makeup and accessories and thought "i have nothing to wear", then you spend the whole night/whole of your bank account on buying new things. Then the added little pick-me-up you get when the package arrives at your door.

Have you seen these posts yet?

BOOKS I WANT TO READ IN 2017 #2

Hello everyone! Cast your minds back to the beginning of the year, when i first mentioned how i was making it my mission to read more books this year and i shared the books i want to read in 2017 #1 in a post. So six months has past since that post and i am so impressed with myself, as i have read more than the ones i originally shared. Now i have a bunch of new/already existing books i want to read as well.

Back in part one of the books i want to read in 2017, i mentioned how Jodi Ellen Malpas is probably one of my favourite authors ever and i have complete binge read her books more than once. The first trilogy of books by her i read was the This Man series about the ultimate alpha male that is Jesse Ward. That being said next month she is releasing a new book called All I Am (Drew's Story) and Drew is one of the characters from the This Man series, i am super excited to read his story and get to know him from his perspective. This book i believe is currently only available for Kindle and is set to be released on June 18th.

I actually mentioned this book back in the first part to this post and i honestly feel like i pre-ordered it so long ago, it needs to be August already so i can read it. Just like the book before this is another new book by Jodi Ellen Malpas, but this time it is all new characters and most important an all new alpha male to fall in love with. This book is going to be available on Kindle, as well as Paperback and is set to be released August 8th.

If you are familiar with the famous crossfire novels by Sylvia Day, then you could of possibly already read this book. I absolutely adored the crossfire novels, yet i didn't even know this book existed until recently when i discovered it is being turned into a movie. So i definitely want to read the book before seeing the movie, who else loves doing that? This book was first released in 2014 and is available on Kindle and Paperback.

So i only recently read the girl on the train which was another book on my to read list in part one and i really quite enjoyed it. As you can probably tell i am usually a romance or comedy kind of girl when it comes to book genres but i don't mind a thriller, from time to time. That being said this really makes me want to read Into The Water, which is the newest book by the author of The Girl on the Train. This book was released May 2nd and is available on Kindle, Paperback and Hardback.

The last two books are actually recommendations to read by a fellow alpha male fan and when i searched for this book on amazon, i discovered it is actually a number one best seller book so that must be a good thing right? I am definitely looking forward to picking this one up and giving it a go. This book was released March 31st and is available on Kindle, as well as Paperback.

Finally we have the last book on the list, well technically it is two books because it is a two book series (so far) and the other books also from recommendation. I have never heard of this author until i decided to look up the story line/reviews online and there was so many really good reviews about it, so i definitely want to give them a go at some point, possible after everything else. These books were released May 9th 2016 and January 16th 2017, both are available on Kindle and Paperback.
