MUST WATCH BINGE-WORTHY TV SHOWS

Hello everyone! So just recently i have been loving/obsessing over so many different tv shows, from Netflix Originals to shows on TV in general. With that in mind i thought for today's post why not share a selection of the shows that i have loved watching and are currently watching, as i personally i am always looking for something new to watch and reading posts or articles like this always gives you inspiration...

1. medici: masters of florence | watch on netflix |
First up i thought i would share the most recent show that i finished binge-watching on Netflix and when i say binge watch i mean, i finished both seasons within a week. This show was so gripping from the very first episode and is great if you love a period drama, as this is set in the 15th Century. The first season is set in Florence and the protagonist is Cosimo the Elder, who was elected head of the Florentine Republic in 1434. Cosimo has inherited the Bank of Medici from his father Giovanni, who has been mysteriously poisoned. Season two is obviously set in Florence once again this time named Medici: The Magnificent has jumped forward in time to Cosimo's grandson Lorenzo de' Medici as he assumes control of the powerful Italian banking dynasty during the Renaissance following an attempt on his father's life.

2. hawaii five-0 | watch on sky |
Next up is a show that has been on for a while now as it is nine seasons into the show but it is one that i never really got around to watching until a few months ago. To cut a long story short, after beginning to watch the show i am now left wondering what took me so long and is definitely a binge-worthy series to watch if you haven't done so already. Hawaii Five-0 is a current times remake from back in the 1960's series titled the same. The series is focused around a specialised DPS task force in Hawaii, headed by Lt. Commander Steve McGarrett. The task force answers only to the Governor of the state of Hawaii and is given full immunity and means. The task force has no restrictions and is always backed by the Governor. The team is able to investigate crimes ranging from terrorism to kidnapping as well as murder and robberies.

3. you | watch on netflix |
I am pretty sure everyone by now has heard about this much talked about Netflix original series based on a book called You by Caroline Kepnes. Personally i am always sceptical when something is highly spoke of as they can tend to end up being "hyped up", that being said when i finally decided to give this show a watch i finished the whole season within a few days. The series is focused around Joe Goldberg, a bookstore manager, who meets Guinevere Beck, an aspiring writer, and becomes immediately infatuated with her. To feed his obsession, he soon turns to social media and technology to track her presence and remove any possible obstacles that stand in the way of their romance. I am really hoping for a season two, as there is a book sequel.

4. shadowhunters: the mortal instruments | watch on netflix |
I know i have spoken about this show in the past, as i have loved it since it first aired but i still think it is a must watch if you haven't done so already. That being said it is super bittersweet as the show is due to end after this current season (season three) but it has been a show that has got more gripping as the seasons go on. The show starts as Clary has just enrolled at Brooklyn Academy of Arts. On her eighteenth birthday, she learns that she is a Shadowhunter, a human born with angelic blood who protects humans from demons and rogue downworlders. Clary joins up with a group of Shadowhunters to save her mother and discovers powers she never knew she possessed. Clary is thrown into the world of demon hunting with the mysterious and attractive Shadowhunter Jace.

5. dirty john | watch on netflix |
Another new to Netflix TV show this year is a series called Dirty John, which is based on a true crime podcast about the life of John Meehan who was actually murdered by the daughter of the author. The story line to the TV adaption is story is John's relationship with businesswoman Debra Newell, who he met on an Internet dating site, as well as her immediate and extended family. I definitely recommend binge-watching this show, especially if you liked You.

6. 9-1-1 | watch on now tv |
Talking of Dirty John (because the main character in Dirty John played by Connie Britton was in season one) another TV show that is definitely binge-worthy, which is also one that i can't wait to be back after a mid-season break and that is 9-1-1. 9-1-1 is a drama/crime-drama that follows the lives of first responders in Los Angeles, these first responders include fire fighters, police officers, paramedics and dispatchers. Each story per episode has you gripped and wondering what is going to happen, as well as on going stories in the characters personal lives.

MARCH MUST-BUYS | CLOTHING, HOMEWARE + ACCESSORIES

Hello everyone and Happy March! I don't know about anyone else but i am super excited for this month, mainly because we are going to be finally saying goodbye to the cold weather and hello to spring (fingers crossed). Also with Spring being just around the corner, it is definitely the month to add some spring/summer pieces to my wardrobe...

1. prettylittlething black printed tupac hand t-shirt | click to buy |
So first of all i just want to put it out there that Pretty Little Thing have so many great pieces new-in/on the site in general and so much so, i ended up placing two separate orders. One of my favourite things i picked up is this Tupac t-shirt, i love not only the style of the t-shirt but also the contrast of black t-shirt with the filter on the print and i just think it is such a beautiful photograph in general. I love how this t-shirt looks with some leather look jeans, you can either tuck the t-shirt into your bra to make it slightly cropped, into the top of your jeans or wear as normal and for only £15 the quality of the t-shirt is really nice.

2. prettylittlething blush stitch detail cross body bag | click to buy |
Another Pretty Little Thing piece is this beautiful blush stitch chain cross body bag, i love how just by simply adding this bag to an outfit will instantly turn your look into something spring appropriate. This bag is the perfect bag to take out with you when you obviously don't need to carry a bunch of things as it is pretty small, but just for going out for lunch, dinner or a night out it is perfect. You can definitely style this bag up or down too.

3. prettylittlething grey girl you got this t-shirt | click to buy |
Ok this is the last Pretty Little Thing item, i swear ha ha! Another "slogan" t-shirt that i picked up the same time as i did the Tupac t-shirt is this grey girl you got this t-shirt. This t-shirt is part of their new everyBODYinPLT collection, which consists of so many nice woman inspired slogans from t-shirts to sweatshirts/hoodies and joggers. 100% of profits going to the charity WAGGGS.

4. h&m home gold window-shaped mirror | click to buy |
Moving away from clothing for a minute and heading into homeware mode. I have loved this style of mirror for so long now but every single one that i have seen in-store/online have been super expensive and then by magic, i was just looking on the new-in section at H&M and i came across one just the same yet this is super affordable at just £24.99.

5. primark lilac cami | click to view |
As well as Pretty Little Thing, another place that i have recently picked more than a handful of things up from is Primark and their new-in section is full of great pieces. Something they have a lot of in-store is these basic cami tops for just £4 and they come in so many different colours, as well as a few different patterned ones. I love how easy these are to throw on and how you can style them with a jacket for spring and worn alone in summer.

6. primark sea salt mist candle | click to view |
Next up is actually a candle that i featured in my recent spring candles for 2019 post, which if you didn't catch first time around you can catch up here. This particular candle from Primark featured in the post and is the perfect spring candle and for just £2 it is an absolute bargain, pretty much like all of the candles in Primark.

7. primark black cami bodysuit | click to view |
Also from Primark clothing-wise is something that i picked up at the end of January and loved so much that i went back to pick up another, that being this black ribbed cami strap bodysuit. They now do this particular bodysuit in several different colours, as well as a striped one that i picked up. Bodysuits are such a great staple to add to your wardrobe if you want to go for that tucked in look, with either a skirt or a pair of jeans. What i like the most about this particular one is how nice/comfortable it is to wear, how it has poppers to make going to the bathroom a lot easier than getting undressed and also how amazing the quality is for only £4.

8. missguided rose gold dome stud gladiator sandals | click to buy |
Finally we have a pair of sandals, yes you read right sandals! Even though it might seem a little early yet to think about wearing them, it is never too early to pick yourself up a good pair and even more so before all of the sizes all go out of stock. Once again this year Miss Guided have dropped their "valentino dupe" style sandals which i have loved for the last couple of years, i have them already in nude and black but this year they come in rose gold and of course i just needed them ready for the summer months this year.

MARCH FAVOURITES | BEAUTY + LIFESTYLE

Hello everyone! Finally, finally, finally we are officially in Spring, which hopefully means we are going to be getting some warmer weather some time soon. Putting that a side i still can't believe that we are about to say goodbye to another month, i'm pretty sure it was new year's five minutes ago. This month as i haven't got all that many beauty and lifestyle favourites to do individual posts, so i thought i would switch things up and combine the two..

So i have been wanting to try something else out from Mario Badescu, after discovering my love for the drying lotion and i had actually seen a fair few people talking about/using the facial spray, so i decided to give it a go myself. The facial spray comes in three different fragrances, aloe herbs and rose water (which i have), aloe chamomile and lavender and then also aloe cucumber and green tea. This spray leaves your skin feeling refreshed and hydrated without completely wetting your face through, how some facial sprays do. I love how pretty affordable the products are for a more "high-end" brand, as this facial spray for the large 236ml one it is only £11 and the MAC ones cost anything from £12 for the small one and £19 for only 100ml of product.

Next up is the foundation that i have been reaching for pretty much every single day since i first tried it, which i didn't think that would of ever been the case. I have never found that stick foundations work for my normal/slightly dry skin-type but this one works so well and lasts all day long, whilst still looking flawlessly applied. Usually when you are using a stick foundation you have to use a brush to blend it out, which i am not a fan of doing but this foundation blends out flawlessly with a beauty blender. (foundation review post)

Last but not least for the beauty favourites this month, is actually a lip combination that i discovered i love only last week and it is literally just lip liner and gloss - super simple. I finally picked up some of the Morphe Lip Liners from BeautyBay recently and i love them, they are super pigmented, creamy and easy to work with. This shade bamboo is the most beautiful "soft sand" almost light beige nude shade and when applied all over the lips and then topped with a little of golden shimmer gloss from ABH, it looks simply stunning and i am obsessed!

I had mentioned in a recent things to binge on in the evenings/weekend post that i had been binge re-reading one of my favourite series of books called This Man, before the release of the all new book and that day came last week. Of course as soon as it was delivered to my door, all my plans for the evening was cancelled to start reading it. Once again Jodi has done an amazing job of captivating you and sucking you back in to all things Jesse and i simply can't put it down, which i am actually amazed i have managed to read properly as from Chapter six on-wards i couldn't stop being tear-y. Talk about a book filled of all the feels and emotions!

Sticking with the whole romance theme, this time a book turned movie bought to you via Passionflix a service that i have spoken about before. This was also a new release this month and i was super excited to watch it, as i have loved every other movie they have released and i was not disappointed so much so i have seen the movie twice now! I also believe that this movie is going to have a sequel to it, which i can't wait for and i might have to indulge in the book series before this happens (which i have done now with a couple of the movies).

QUICK, EASY + HEALTHY PINTEREST BREAKFAST IDEAS

Hello everyone! So it can be so easy to fall into a rut when it comes to deciding what to make/have for breakfast, especially if you are wanting something quick, easy and healthy. If you want to take all three of those things into consideration, it doesn't mean you have to opt for a boring bowl of cereal every single day (even though i do love a good bowl of "boring" plain wheat cereals like wheatabix or special k). That being said for today's post i thought i would share with you a selection of my favourite Pinterest approved breakfast ideas...

If you are a pancake lover this simple yogurt based pancake recipe is going to be right up your street, as they are super simple to make and you only need seven ingredients in total to make them. I love pancakes when they are thick and fluffy, which is where the yogurt comes in with a helping hand and not to mention give that gorgeous coconut-y flavour. If dairy isn't your thing, which it isn't for me milk-wise anyway you can switch it out for the Alpro yogurt and milk (which both can be bought in coconut flavours).

2. carrot cake overnight oats (jar of lemons, blog)
I have mentioned a couple of times now how obsessed with overnight oats i am, as they are literally the quickest, tastiest breakfast and the perfect meal-prep breakfast food. This particular recipe is vegan but you can obviously adapt it to your liking by adding milk and yogurt, but i definitely prefer it the vegan way. Pinterest is full of different "fillings/flavours" for overnight oats but this carrot cake one, a mixed fruit and cinnamon one and the chai latte one hands down are my favourites out of all the ones i have tried.

3. vegan blended peanut butter chocolate porridge (my vibrant kitchen, blog)
I almost feel like this breakfast recipe could almost pass for looking like a delicious yet naughty dessert, but it isn't it is actually super good for you and if you are a fan of anything chocolate/peanut butter flavoured then you are going to love this. This is different to overnight oats, as you only soak the oats for ten minutes before blending and layering with the remaining ingredients.

4. smashed peas on toast (sainsbury's, magazine blog)
Smashed peas on toast is a favourite of mine for either breakfast or lunch, as it is the perfect alternative to having avocado on toast if you don't like avocado as i don't. Yet again this is another recipe that you can cater to your own topping preferences, as i like to skip on the mint and goats cheese and opt for garlic, chilli and sometimes a poached egg all depending on how hungry i am or how much time i have.

5. grilled peach breakfast parfait (kitchen sanctuary, blog)
To me this breakfast absolutely screams summer alfresco dining breakfast food, especially with the grilled peach. Yet again this is such a quick and easy throw together breakfast, that can be adapted to your diet by switching up the yogurt for a non-dairy yogurt as would. I love how many different textures and flavours this recipe has, from sweet to crunchy and then smooth. I also have to admit that this style of breakfast, is definitely one of those Instagram worthy breakfasts.

6. coffee chia pudding (the little blog of vegan, blog)
Finally we have something similar to overnight oats, but obviously instead of using oats you opt for some chia seeds instead and it is just as quick/easy to make. Just like overnight oats, there are so many different ways to have this for breakfast but i must say having a coffee flavoured one has to be a favourite of mine. This breakfast is a winner if you have a sweet tooth and would sooner have something sweet over savoury for breakfast.

MAKEUP REVOLUTION FAST BASE FOUNDATION | FIRST IMPRESSION REVIEW

Hello everyone! Cast your minds back to early January when Makeup Revolution launched a concealer, that left everyone talking about it and duping it the drugstore alternative to the famous Tarte shape tape concealer. That being said last week the brand launched an all new product, this time a foundation which of course people were left shook (including me) after seeing a video that went viral. So of course i was going to be excited to give this launch a try asap and let you know exactly what my thoughts are...

So fun fact, i am the biggest fan of drugstore foundations (i tend to reach for them over any high end foundation) and i have so many favourites from the Maybelline fit me foundation to the Milani conceal and perfect foundation. As i mentioned above Makeup Revolution released an amazing concealer a couple of months ago, which i love and that made me even more excited to try the foundation although i did have my doubts. The thing that made me unsure about wanting to try this foundation is the fact that it is in stick form and for me personally, they don't usually work for me and they tend to be quite drying on my skin. That being said i watched a couple of the first impression videos of the foundation and i was left shook on how stunning it actually was, from the huge 18 shade range, it's £5 price point and stunning nude/rose gold packaging.

Moving onto the actually application of the foundation, i applied a small amount to each area of my face (as a little product goes a long way) before blending out with my damp beauty blender and it blended out flawlessly, with a medium coverage (but can easily be built up to a full coverage without looking cake-y) and then setting in-place with powder after concealer. I wore the foundation for a total of 10 hours and i found as i have normal/dry skin, i obviously didn't have to touch up through-out the day but i definitely think if you were more on the oily side, you probably would have to do one or two touch-ups. The feeling of the foundation when it sits on the skin does feel really comfortable, which i didn't think it would do with it being a stick foundation but it is really hydrating on the skin. The finish of the foundation is a natural/slightly dewy finish. Over-all my thoughts on the foundation is that i am super impressed with everything about it, especially how great it would be for travelling as it is compact and wouldn't break or burst on-route. I think i will definitely be reaching for it quite often, just as it do the concealer and i am left once again giving two huge thumbs up to Makeup Revolution and their makeup product game for 2018 so far.

So the foundation shades are suppose to match up the concealer shades and in the concealer shades i have C2 and C6 (which is the shade i always use). When it comes to foundation obviously i want it to match my rest of me, which is why i picked up F8 for when i am tanned and F6 for either when i am not tanned or to do some cream contouring with. Talking of cream contouring, i really want to pick up the shade F12 to cream contour with. As for foundation F8 is the perfect shade for me and it was super easy to get the right shade for me, by using the shade description on the TAM Beauty website.

THE TIPS I SWEAR BY FOR SELF-LOVE | BEAUTY + LIFESTYLE

Hello everyone! It can be so easy at times to completely focus all of your time and energy on other people and other things, things that aren't you or necessarily for you. With that in mind for today's post i thought i would do something a little different, by different i mean i thought i would share with you some of the tips i swear by for self-love. Self-care/self-love is so important for any human being for so many reasons but mainly for your frame of mind, especially if you tend to be an over-thinker (which was totally me) until i discovered so many ways to not only switch off but also on how to be so much more relaxed and be a lot less anxious about anything and everything. I don't think anyone with anxiety will ever be fully cured and i honestly think everyone has it and deals with it differently but at the end of the day we can't let it beat us or define us as people...

1. take a break from the internet (mainly social-media)

2. go for a walk (this helps to not only get exercise but also clears your head)

3. listen to your favourite music/songs

4. have a netflix/movie/tv show day now and again

5. light/buy your favourite scent of candle (this helps to feel calm)

6. take a bath with a bath bomb or aromatherapy oils

7. get a diffuser with a relaxing oil scent

8. read a book of your favourite genre or re-read a favourite book

9. treat yourself to a few new things (either makeup, clothes or accessories)

10. cook or bake your favourite meal/food

11. set yourself a routine, allowing time everyday for yourself

12. dress for you and only you

13. don't let people dictate to you or walk all over you

14. get yourself or give yourself a mani/pedi

15. do a face mask

16. get at least 8 hours of sleep a night

17. drink plenty of fluids

18. but limit your intake of caffeine

19. invest in a calming scented body lotion (i use the lush sleepy lotion before bed)

20. tidy room/house = tidy mind

21. don't take things to heart or take things too serious when there is no need

22. wear as much or as little makeup as you like

23. eating healthy 6 out of 7 days a week (always allow yourself that one treat or day)

24. read/learn what other people find useful when it comes to self-love tips

25. always believe that you are good enough!

MY MARCH MUST-BUYS | CLOTHING, ACCESSORIES + BEAUTY

Hello everyone and Hello new month! Where did March spring from? (no pun intended), it honestly felt like January lasted a lifetime and February went in a flash. So the past couple of months at the beginning of the months, i have been sharing a selection of my must-buy items, whether that be the things i have already bought or if i am wanting to buy. That being said so far they seem to be a huge hit views wise, so with that in mind and now we are into a new month here are my March must-buys from clothing to beauty and accessories...

1. bareMinerals gen nude lip lacquer in the shade major | £17 |
bareMinerals gen nude glow blush in the shade pretty in pink | £22 | selfridges |
Fun fact bareMinerals is probably my favourite high end makeup brand, especially for products like my all time favourite invisible bronze bronzer. They have recently launched a bunch of new gen nude products, which naturally i was going to be excited for especially the nude lip colours.

2. black faux leather jacket | £30 | missguided |
I have been in need of picking up a new black leather jacket, as i have had my other one for some time now and i decided to take a look on the missguided site. I ended up going for this one which to be honest is a bargain at £30, yet it was even more of a bargain as it was included during the 50% off everything on the site so it ended up being £15. I also took full advantage of this 50% off and picked up a few other things, but returned a couple of them as they ended up being too big.

3. casual peplum camisole top | £14 | topshop |
When it comes to tops i am all about stocking up on basics, especially tops like this one as they are so great just to throw on with a pair of jeans and look great paired with a leather jacket. I also like how they come in several different colours, but of course for me it is all about the black.

4. pretty trim bardot top | £22 | topshop |
Another Topshop number that i am loving at the moment is this bardot top, in this gorgeous peachy shade. I actually first mentioned this top in my recent early spring clothing + accessories lust list post and i said how perfect this would be for spring/summer with a pair of jeans, that is if we even end up getting any nice weather in the UK soon!

5. luna oriental kimono wrap dress | £20 | boohoo |
I have really been loving wearing print blouses when it comes to wanting something a little more dressy, then i saw this patterned wrap dress on Boohoo and thought how nice this would look styled in so many ways. You could style it either with heeled boots (ankle or thigh high) or with heeled sandals or block heels.

6. layla basic crew neck t-shirt | £5 | boohoo |
As i mentioned before i like to stock up on basics, as they always come in handy so when i placed a Boohoo order i decided to pick a few of these up whilst i was on the site. Of course i went for a couple of the black, but i also picked up a grey one and a mocha colour (which looks more of a nude colour).

7. yellow tie up block heel sandals | £42 | river island |
Another item that i mentioned in my recent early-spring lust list is these gorgeous block heel sandals from River Island, which as i mentioned in that post i am obsessed with this yellow colour. I have a feeling these sandals are going to be a summer outfit staple, which you could either dress up or dress down.

8. with this man by jodi ellen malpas | £5.43 | amazon |
Finally the thing that i am probably so excited for at the end of the month, which is the next chapter in the This Man series of books. If you read my recent music, tv + books at the moment post then you will probably know how i started re-reading the series just to refresh my memory (well that is my excuse anyway). I definitely recommend giving this series a read, especially if you are a sucker for an alpha male and Jesse is the lord of alpha males!

I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

MARCH FAVOURITES

Wow! Where did March go? I literally can't believe we only have a few days left until April. I am so glad that winter is finally over, don't get me wrong i love winter until Christmas is over and then i just want me some warm weather haha. So here it is my favourites for the month of March...

Urban Decay Ammo 2 Palette.
I purchased this eye shadow palette towards the end of last year and i loved it from the moment i started to use it, but then i switched it up and started to use different eye shadow's. Then i went back to it and now it's my go to palette of the month especially the shades: sin, smog and maui wowie.

MUA Mosaic Bronzer in the shade Sunkissed Glow.
I purchased this bronzer at very beginning of the month and since then i have used it everyday. It does at the name of the shade says, gives you that sunkissed glow. The only down side to this product is that the packaging is really hard to open, i'm not sure whether they are all like that or it's just mine.
L'Oreal True Match Foundation in the shade Vanilla.
I have only been using this foundation for about 10 days but i am in love, it has an amazing coverage but still looks really natural. Definitely worth all the hype it has been given and i wish i had tried it sooner.

NYX Pencil Lip Liners in the shades: Fuchsia, Dolly Pink and Beige.
I can't get enough of NYX lip liners, they are hands down my favourite brand ever. If you haven't tried them before i definitely suggest you try them out, they are so inexpensive and glide on like a dream without being drying either.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel.
I got this as a free sample with another Clinique purchase and i thought i might as well give it a try, so glad that i did and will definitely purchase the full size of this when this runs out. I also love how it is still pretty large for a sample size.
Clinique Anti-Blemish Clearing Gel.
I am also in love with this it's literally like magic, if you have a blemish coming or already have one just put the tiniest amount of this gel on and it will be virtually be gone the next day.
The Body Shop Elderflower Eye Gel.
I just love the consistency of this eye gel and the way it feels when i apply it. It leaves my eyes feeling really refreshed, i don't like see any major changes to my eye area but my eye area feels a lot better for using it.

Garnier Mineral 5 Protection Antiperspirant in Floral Fresh.
Garnier Mineral is usually my go to deodorant anyway, i usually get the pink roll on but when i was randomly shopping i saw this new one and thought i would give it a go. I really like it and the scent lasts a long time it says 48 hours but i haven't tested it out for that long of a wear obviously but it lasts all day.

The Body Shop Wild Rose Hand Cream with SPF 15.
For so long Soap and Glory Hand Food has been like my "go to, nothing is better than this hand cream" in my opinion but it has met it's match. I love the fragrance and how soft it leaves my hands, so i now switch between the two hand creams.

Random Favourites...

This month i have been obsessed with TV shows, my usual faves (pretty little liars, teen wolf and the fosters) have now ended for a few months. But saying that i have been loving The Vampire Diaries this month, it is getting so good! My music favourites haven't really changed since last month, i am pretty much just listening to the same songs.

What have been your favourites this month?

MOTHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS

So with Mother's Day (UK) being just a little over a week away, that means there is still a time to get a special gift for all the lovely Mummy's out there. You don't have to spend heaps of money on an expensive gift to show someone how much you love them. Here is a few gift ideas you could surprise your Mum with this coming Mother's Day and still leave your bank balance undamaged...

I know i talk about The Body Shop all the time but they have some really amazing Gift Sets available in-store and they are only £15. This is such a great deal for full size products (body butter, shower gel and body spray), if you purchased the body butter on its own that would be £13 so for £2 extra you are getting two other items to make the perfect gift set.

At the moment The Body Shop have a great deal on their shower gels. This could make a perfect gift for your mum, they come in a wide range of different scents.

1 shower gel for £4.
2 shower gel for £6.
3 shower gel for £8.
4 shower gel for £10.

If you are unsure what to buy your mum on a tight budget but still want to get your mum a little something just to show her that you appreciate her, there is so many great gifts for £5 and under.

I saw this super cute floral mum cup whilst shopping, perfect for them special mums who love their cups of tea and coffee. Mum Cup - £2 Tesco.

What mum or person for that matter doesn't love being showered with chocolates. This doesn't mean you have to go out and spend £40 on an expensive box of chocolates, you can get great quality chocolates for much cheaper. Lindt Lindor Chocolates - £3.50 Tesco (Available in a variety of places).

I also had a look online at several other gift ideas you could get for this Mother's Day.

Already bought your mum a gift? I would love to know what you have bought.
Have an amazing weekend...

BOOTS HAUL

Just recently i had been noticing that Boots had got some quiet good offers across stores, so whilst i was heading to pick up an online purchase i thought i would take a look around...

For the amount of items i actually purchased during this visit i was shocked at how small of bag i was actually given, although my online order was in a box.

Online Purchases.

Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Oil-Control Cleansing Mask - £19
This is a soothing clay based mask which is said to help heal blemishes, prevent breakouts and keep skin shine free. I was trying out the Tea Tree blemish range from The Body Shop previously but i just felt as if it actually made my skin appear worse and now i am just using the Creamy Face Wash from that range and my skin is so much better just from cutting the others out of my routine.

Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Clearing Gel - £20
This is basically just a daily treatment gel to give you clearer skin and also to help clear and prevent blemishes. I have heard so many people rave about this product and even some saying it was life changing, so give me some of that!

Also at Boots (Online Only) they have a free gift with purchase when you buy 2 or more Clinque items which is always an added bonus.

Clinique Age Defense Eye Cream - Free Gift with Purchase.
Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey - Free Gift with Purchase.
Clinique Moisture Surge - Free Gift with Purchase.

In-Store Purchases.

Nivea Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes (Dry and Sensitive Skin) - £1.99
These are just my holy grail go to everyday face wipes, i am obsessed. They are usually £2.99 but at the moment they have a saving of £1 which is always good.

Oral-B 3D White Brilliance Toothpaste - £2.33
This purchase was just because who doesn't need toothpaste, everyone brushes their teeth (i hope). This particular toothpaste at the moment has saving of £1.16 as it is usually £3.49.

Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo - £4.69
I have mentioned this shampoo in a couple of blog posts now about how much i loved this shampoo and i was running low on just the shampoo, so i decided to grab some while i was there.

Garnier Fresh Eye Makeup Remover - £2.29
I had said in my products i had used up blog post last week that i had used up my usual L'Oreal one and i preferred a different one but it was only a small sample size and that is almost done with, so i decided to give this Garnier one a try, i can't wait to give it a try. This had a saving of £1.16 as it is usually £3.45.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Transparent - £3.99
This is my go to nothing will be better than this powder to me, i have gone through so many. It has so many amazing qualities about it as it is cheap and it does what it says well. I would say over and over the only thing is i wish the packaging was a little prettier and more inviting but i suppose you can't complain.

L'Oreal True Match Foundation in Vanilla - £7.49
I am running really low on my favourite foundation and i was going to repurchase it again but then i remembered i had a money off voucher for the true match foundation, so i am going to give this one a go. I have heard so many people rave about how good this foundation is, we shall see. Usually £9.99.

Ok so before i get started, i might of gone nail polish crazy as i haven't bought any for a while and i wanted some new really nice pastel shades, also they some had really good deals on them.

Essie Nail Polish in Cascade Cool - £7.99
Barry M Gelly Nail Polish in Prickly Pear - £3.99
Barry M Gelly Nail Polish in Papaya - £3.99
(Barry M nail polishes are currently on offer at Buy one, Get one half price).

Rimmel Rita Ora Collection Nail Polish in Breakfast in Bed - £3.69
Rimmel Rita Ora Collection Nail Polish in Lose Your Lingerie - £3.69
(Rimmel Items are currently on offer at 3 for 2).

Have any of you been buying anything good from Boots at the moment?
I hope you are all having an amazing week and i'll talk to you soon.

PAMPER EVENING/GETTING UNREADY

So sometimes as i think we would all agree that when we have/are in a rubbish mood and feeling down, there is nothing better than a good pampering session to make us feel a lot better. Even if you're not in a rubbish mood it is still good to give yourself a good pampering, so it's time to get unready for bed and have that good pampering...

First i like to remove the days makeup off of my face, using my NARS makeup removing water and The Body Shop Vitamin E cream cleanser using cotton pads.

Next i am going to apply my The Body Shop warming mineral mask, i am a huge lover of warming face masks and prefer them over other types. When i don't apply a face mask i just wash my face with a facial wash or scrub. I like to leave the face mask on for around 5 minutes and rinse off when i get in the shower.

Once i am in the shower and i have rinsed off the face mask, i am going to do my usual shower routine using The Body Shop limited edition blueberry shower gel and the pink grapefruit scrub-gelee (can you sense a The Body Shop theme here, in previous blog posts i have mentioned how much i have fell back in love with their products). Next i shampoo and condition my hair using my current favourites Aussie miracle moist, rinse away then its time to get out of the shower.

Once out the shower and i am dried off i apply my body lotion/butter all depends on what i am using at the time, at the moment yet again another The Body Shop item the pink grapefruit body butter.

Last off in the bathroom i apply my moisturizers and lip scrub. The Body Shop Vitamin E night cream, Elderflower unperfumed eye gel and Lush bubblegum lip scrub. Then it is time to head to my room.

Once in my room it is time to tackle my hair. I like to leave my hair wrapped in a towel for about 10 minutes to soak up some of the water, then i apply my leave in conditioner Aussie miracle recharge and a Charles Worthington straightening cream before brushing through my hair with my tangle teezer. All is left to do then is blow dry my hair then i am done.

Then all that is left to do is relax in bed with my pyjamas on, either watching YouTube videos or a TV show. I hope you have all had an amazing weekend whatever your plans were.

What are your must have items to have a pamper night?

TRIED IT OUT TUESDAY: EMPTIES

There is always something satisfying about finishing a product, whether it is because you loved the product so much that you can't wait to repurchase or you are just glad to have used it up.
Here are some of the products that i have used up recently...

Batiste Dry Shampoo in the floral and flirty blush scent.
Batiste is definitely the dry shampoo of choice for me as it really does the job well but i don't think i would repurchase this particular scent again, when i bought this particular one it was because they didn't have my favourite scent (oriental).

Clean & Clear morning energy daily facial scrub.
I love love loved this facial scrub and i have already repurchased this item. I like to use it in the morning time as it really does as it says makes me feel awake and refreshed.

NSPA nourishing eye and lip treatment.
I have a love/hate relationship with this lip balm, it says it can be used under the eyes but i never used it for that, i just used it as a lip balm. It really did its job by re-hydrating my lips but i hated the consistency. I don't think i would re purchase this item as i feel there is so many better quality products available.

Nivea gentle facial cleansing wipes in dry and sensitive skin.
I always purchase different facial wipes but then go back to these as i never like any other brands as much as these. They smell great, remove makeup well and doesn't dry my skin out. I have already repurchased.

L'Oreal gentle eye makeup remover.
This is the third or forth time i had repurchased this eye makeup remover as for a long time it was my go to holy grail item but i had found a better remover which i preferred over this one. I don't think i will repurchase this one anymore.

Impulse body spray in into glamour.
I love impulse body sprays and the majority of them smell really nice but i would have to say this is my favourite scent hands down and i will continue to repurchase this one over and over.

The Body Shop vitamin e cream cleanser.
I mentioned this cream cleanser in my February Favourites blog post previously, i got this small size in a gift with purchase set from The Body Shop and i am obsessed with it. So if you are looking for a really great cleanser i definitely recommend this one. I have already purchased the full size.

L'Oreal mega volume collagene 24hr mascara in black smoke.
I have mentioned this mascara in so many blog posts previously, i am obsessed with this mascara. It doesn't only just give volume to my lashes it really gives them length, i just love everything about it. I have a couple of other mascaras to use up first and then i am going to repurchase this one without a doubt.

What products have you been using up lately?
