MUST WATCH BINGE-WORTHY TV SHOWS

Hello everyone! So just recently i have been loving/obsessing over so many different tv shows, from Netflix Originals to shows on TV in general. With that in mind i thought for today's post why not share a selection of the shows that i have loved watching and are currently watching, as i personally i am always looking for something new to watch and reading posts or articles like this always gives you inspiration...

1. medici: masters of florence | watch on netflix |
First up i thought i would share the most recent show that i finished binge-watching on Netflix and when i say binge watch i mean, i finished both seasons within a week. This show was so gripping from the very first episode and is great if you love a period drama, as this is set in the 15th Century. The first season is set in Florence and the protagonist is Cosimo the Elder, who was elected head of the Florentine Republic in 1434. Cosimo has inherited the Bank of Medici from his father Giovanni, who has been mysteriously poisoned. Season two is obviously set in Florence once again this time named Medici: The Magnificent has jumped forward in time to Cosimo's grandson Lorenzo de' Medici as he assumes control of the powerful Italian banking dynasty during the Renaissance following an attempt on his father's life.

2. hawaii five-0 | watch on sky |
Next up is a show that has been on for a while now as it is nine seasons into the show but it is one that i never really got around to watching until a few months ago. To cut a long story short, after beginning to watch the show i am now left wondering what took me so long and is definitely a binge-worthy series to watch if you haven't done so already. Hawaii Five-0 is a current times remake from back in the 1960's series titled the same. The series is focused around a specialised DPS task force in Hawaii, headed by Lt. Commander Steve McGarrett. The task force answers only to the Governor of the state of Hawaii and is given full immunity and means. The task force has no restrictions and is always backed by the Governor. The team is able to investigate crimes ranging from terrorism to kidnapping as well as murder and robberies.

3. you | watch on netflix |
I am pretty sure everyone by now has heard about this much talked about Netflix original series based on a book called You by Caroline Kepnes. Personally i am always sceptical when something is highly spoke of as they can tend to end up being "hyped up", that being said when i finally decided to give this show a watch i finished the whole season within a few days. The series is focused around Joe Goldberg, a bookstore manager, who meets Guinevere Beck, an aspiring writer, and becomes immediately infatuated with her. To feed his obsession, he soon turns to social media and technology to track her presence and remove any possible obstacles that stand in the way of their romance. I am really hoping for a season two, as there is a book sequel.

4. shadowhunters: the mortal instruments | watch on netflix |
I know i have spoken about this show in the past, as i have loved it since it first aired but i still think it is a must watch if you haven't done so already. That being said it is super bittersweet as the show is due to end after this current season (season three) but it has been a show that has got more gripping as the seasons go on. The show starts as Clary has just enrolled at Brooklyn Academy of Arts. On her eighteenth birthday, she learns that she is a Shadowhunter, a human born with angelic blood who protects humans from demons and rogue downworlders. Clary joins up with a group of Shadowhunters to save her mother and discovers powers she never knew she possessed. Clary is thrown into the world of demon hunting with the mysterious and attractive Shadowhunter Jace.

5. dirty john | watch on netflix |
Another new to Netflix TV show this year is a series called Dirty John, which is based on a true crime podcast about the life of John Meehan who was actually murdered by the daughter of the author. The story line to the TV adaption is story is John's relationship with businesswoman Debra Newell, who he met on an Internet dating site, as well as her immediate and extended family. I definitely recommend binge-watching this show, especially if you liked You.

6. 9-1-1 | watch on now tv |
Talking of Dirty John (because the main character in Dirty John played by Connie Britton was in season one) another TV show that is definitely binge-worthy, which is also one that i can't wait to be back after a mid-season break and that is 9-1-1. 9-1-1 is a drama/crime-drama that follows the lives of first responders in Los Angeles, these first responders include fire fighters, police officers, paramedics and dispatchers. Each story per episode has you gripped and wondering what is going to happen, as well as on going stories in the characters personal lives.

WHAT TO WATCH ON TV THIS AUTUMN | PART TWO

Hello everyone! Autumn is that time of year which is that perfect weather outside to simply stay inside during the evenings or a lazy Sunday and just cosy up watching some good TV. Autumn/Winter always seems to be the time when all of the good new/existing TV shows come out, which couldn't be better timing really. With that in mind for today's post i am back with part two of "what to watch on tv this autumn" and i am so excited to share with you some existing/new upcoming shows...

1. station 19 - sky witness | catch up here |
So in part one i mentioned how once September rolls around so does the new season of Grey's Anatomy, which so far has been as amazing as it always is. Now that also means Station 19 is back with another season, which i am so excited because season one ended on a cliffhanger moment. Station 19 is a "spin-off" from the creators of Grey's Anatomy but all about the fire station Station 19 in Seattle and there has been a couple of cross-over episodes now between the two shows. This show has you feeling equally as hooked as when you are watching Grey's Anatomy and has you feeling all of those similar type of feels.

2. line of duty - bbc/netflix | catch up here |
Next up is a show that i have finally started watching myself and i am so late to the party, but i am pretty sure i am not on my own there. If you watched the Bodyguard (which i featured in part one) and loved it, then Line of Duty is for you as it by the same writer. Line of Duty is a police drama, starting when DC Steve Arnott is transferred to a police anti-corruption unit after he refuses to be part of a cover-up involving an accidental shooting. Line of Duty currently has 4 seasons, with season 5 returning early 2019, so there is definitely plenty of time to get caught up this Autumn.

3. the little drummer girl - bbc/amc | watch the trailer here |
If you was a huge fan of The Night Manager tv series, then you are probably going to want to be watching the new up-coming six part series also by the same production company and another adaptation from the genius spy novelist John le Carré. What makes me equally as excited for this show, as not only does the trailer make the show look as good if not better than the Night Manager is the fact that The Little Drummer Girl stars Alexander Skarsgård, who is by far one of my favourite actors and i mean isn't he lovely to look at also?

4. dark heart - itv drama | watch the trailer here |
Next is another up-coming show this time to ITV this month and is from the writers of the ever so talked about Unforgotten, which is another detective drama. Dark Heart follows DI Will Wagstaffe who is haunted by the murder of his parents when he was 16 years old. This series is an adaptation from novelist Adam Creed who has written a series of books featuring the main character Will Wagstaffe. This show will also be a six part series.

5. informer - bbc | watch the trailer here |
Next up is yet another six-part bbc drama set to fill that Bodyguard shaped hole in your evening, this time in the form of the counter-terrorism spy thriller Informer. This show is set to show you the messy/boundary-crossing relationship between an informant and police handler, that is set to have you hooked this Autumn as it follows the theme of trust, deception and ever-present danger. This series has a premiere date coming Tuesday 16th October on BBC one at 9pm!

6. a discovery of witches - sky one | catch up here |
Finally is a new show to Sky that so far has a handful of episodes that has aired called A Discovery of Witches, which is definitely a series for those who love diving into the world of something a little more supernatural. The show is based around a historian Diana who finds herself in a world of Vampires, Daemons, Witches and forbidden love and also comes across something that forces her to uncover her own magical heritage.

WHAT TO WATCH ON TV THIS AUTUMN | PART ONE

Hello everyone! Now that we are officially into September that means one thing and one thing only, those autumnal nights are fast approaching us. For me personally there is nothing better than getting all cosy on an autumnal evening, to either read a good book or watch a gripping tv series. So for today's post i thought i would talk some tv with you and more specifically some of the shows i am currently loving, as well as some upcoming shows that i am itching to binge on myself...

1. bodyguard - bbc one | watch on bbc iPlayer here |
So i just had to kick things off with my new Sunday night tv obsession on BBC one at 9pm, which is a show called Bodyguard. Where do i even begin? This new drama had me hooked from the very beginning, showing that it isn't one of those that takes you time to get into it. The series is set around a police sergeant David Budd, a heroic war veteran now working as a bodyguard and his job is to protect the home secretary, whose politics stands for everything he hates. This show is very much the case of trust nobody, which has you sat on the edge of your seat.

2. victoria - itv | watch on netflix here |
This time last year was about the time where i first binge watched Victoria series one, before series two aired and i just loved everything about it. I have mentioned before how i love anything about Queen Victoria, as she seemed like such an inspiration especially when it comes to being a young woman with power. Series three is set to return this autumn/winter time on ITV and i can't wait, i knew it would be making a come back as they have recently re-aired the show on ITV3 and of course i had to watch it again from the beginning.

3. vanity fair - itv | watch on itv here |
Sticking with the whole period drama series, next up is a new series to ITV which is called Vanity Fair. Vanity Fair is an adaption of a novel by William Makepeace Thackeray, if i am being honest i didn't know what to expect from this show but i really enjoyed the pilot episode. The series is based around the character Becky Sharp, who is an orphan and after school she determined to rise in society. So far there has only been two episodes so far with the next episode airing this Sunday at 9pm on ITV, the series will consist of seven episodes.

4. driven - passionflix | watch on passionflix here |
I have talked about Passionflix in several posts before and how if you are a romance novel fan, then Passionflix is definitely the movie service for you as they are making romance novels into movies. That being said the Driven book series by K.Bromberg has actually been made into a tv series, consisting of six episodes so far which was all of book one. Driven has been one of my favourite book series that i have read this year, so of course i was excited for the tv series and i was not disappointed in the slightest bit. I am also super excited as they are about to start filming on the movie for the Protector book by my favourite author Jodi Ellen Malpas, so i assume that will also be available this autumn/winter.

5. s.w.a.t - sky | watch on sky catch up here |
This show is relatively new airing in the UK although the show first aired in the US last year, is perfect for those who love crime/drama shows. The show is a modern twist of the 1975 show, titled the same and is focused around the main character Sergeant Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson. Hondo is a LA local and former marine, who has been tapped to lead a new special weapons and tactics unit. Season one consists of 22 episodes and season two will air in the US later on this month.

6. grey's anatomy - sky witness | watch on sky catch up here |
Of course as soon as September rolls around you know that means one thing and one thing only, Grey's Anatomy will be back for a new season. If you have never indulged in the brilliant medical drama series, then you are 100% missing out but even though the show is about to start it's fifteenth season, it is never too late to take the ultimate binge leap and start from the very beginning. The series always keeps you on your toes with every story line, from the emergency's coming into the hospital to the doctor's day to day life drama/relationships and of course a little bit of comedy mixed in. Also this show is so full of emotion, in fact i don't think i have ever watched an episode without shedding at least one tear ha ha!

MID-MONTH FAVOURITES | TV SHOWS + BOOKS

Hello everyone! I know it doesn't seem all that long ago that i shared a few of my current more lifestyle favourites, in my may beauty + lifestyle favourites post but over the past few weeks/June so far i have been loving so many different more lifestyle things. That being said for today's post i thought i would share a handful of my current favourite binge-worthy tv shows and books...

love island | netflix | itv hub |
First things first, i had to mention the show that pretty much the whole of the UK (me included) are talking/thinking about all of the time. If you aren't familiar with the set up of the show, it is basically singles both men and women, living in a villa and hoping to find love, with a little help with everyone at home deciding who stays and who goes. This reality TV show is so addictive and if you haven't indulged in the show before, i highly recommend catching up from season one/two on Netflix or if you are yet to watch season three you can catch up on the season so far on the ITV hub.

bulletproof | sky one |
So i actually briefly mentioned this show in my May beauty and lifestyle favourites post, but i didn't go into too much detail. If you are a huge fan of the police drama Lethal Weapon from the US, then you are definitely going to love this as it is basically an English version of the show and as well as having a serious crime story line each week, it also has an hilarious comedy element to it. The show is a mixture of a partner/friendship and conspiracies. Bulletproof is currently on Tuesday's at 9PM on Sky One, but you can binge watch all six episodes so far.

desperate housewives | virgin |
A show that i have started re-watching now it is on Virgin Box sets/on demand is Desperate Housewives, this show used to be one of my all time favourite shows way back when it was first aired. If you never watches it first time around i highly recommend that you do, it is a show that is full of mystery and drama that never gets old no matter how many times you re-watch it.

the ruthless gentleman by Louise Bay | amazon |
So first up on the book favourites is this one by Louise Bay, which happened to be the first book i had ever read by this author and i wasn't sure what to expect. I went in thinking i wasn't going to enjoy this book, as i was still suffering from a slight book hangover after the cliffhanger that the controversial princess and i surprised at how i couldn't put it down. The way this contemporary romance novel was written just flowed so easily and had you captivated with the chemistry between the two characters, i also liked how the way it was written actually made me feel like i was sat on a boat whilst reading it. I will definitely be reading something from her again!

driven by K.Bromberg | amazon |
This book is actually my current read but is one i was literally hooked on from the start, as it started super full-on rather than a build up to the meeting of the two characters. This is also a book from an author that i have never read anything from and i probably wouldn't of ever discovered her books, if it wasn't for this book in-particular being turned into a movie for Passionflix. As i mentioned in my books i want to read post, i am one of those people who likes to read the book before the movie so that is exactly what i am doing. Once i have finished book one i will definitely share more of my thoughts on the story and i am so glad there is 5 books in the driven series.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

MAY FAVOURITES | BEAUTY + LIFESTYLE

Hello everyone! It is that time of the month again and when i say time of the month i mean, monthly favourites. I honestly can't believe how fast this month has gone, i swear it was the beginning of the month just last week? yet somehow we are in June in just a couple of days and i don't know if that upsets me or makes me happy because it is my birthday month. Putting that to the back of my mind for now, this month i didn't a whole lot of new beauty favourites so i thought i would do another combined favourites of both beauty and lifestyle...

So first up we have this super cute small cross body bag which i picked up a few weeks ago from Toshop (currently has £10 off) and i actually featured it in my recent how to update your wardrobe for summer on a budget post. I am obsessed with this style of bag and the white is perfect for summer yet it goes with so many different coloured outfits. What i love the most about this bag is even though it is a "see-through" style bag with its lattice design, it also has a zip section in the middle to hide your money, cards etc.

As i mentioned in my previous post, i like to switch my breakfast up pretty much everyday and rotate what i am having, just so i don't get bored of having the same thing over and over again. So on the days when i just want something quick that isn't overnight oats, i have been loving having some of this puffed wheat with some almond milk and a drizzle of honey. If you are a 90's kid or you grew up around the cereal "sugar puffs" this is basically the healthy version of those and so low in calories/sugar/fat yet super high in fibre.

In my eight products to keep you smelling beach-y this summer post i talked about a bunch of different Palmer's products that i love and i also mentioned how i had recently switched up the everyday tan lotion from what i usually use. I feel like this natural bronze tan from the brand lasts longer/looks fresher longer, as well as it being easier to apply to a mitt as it has a pump top. Another thing i love about this tan is that it smells so good with the original cocoa butter scent, as well as keeping my skin super hydrated.

The two makeup items that i have been reaching for this month different to past months are a bronzer and highlighting face/body butter both from Primark (first impression linked). Since we are now coming into the summer months i have been loving the whole bronzed up skin with a natural/dewy highlighted look and these two products used together do just that.

So i am currently suffering from a serious book hangover because i read the whole of this new book release within days of it being released, as i was just so hooked, so fast just like i always seem to be when Jodi releases a new book and that is probably why she is one of my favourite authors. I know i have a bunch of other books on my to-read list which i did do a post on recently here but i still can't wait for August for the next instalment.

tv show favourites
Finally we have TV show favourites and i actually have a few different shows that i have been enjoying this month, a couple of regulars and a couple of new shows. This month has been leading up to the end of the current season of Grey's Anatomy, which has been my favourite show for years but with a couple of the main cast members leaving it has been a gripping yet emotion few episodes and i have loved every single one. Sticking with the similar show theme i have also been loving Station 19, which i had saved a few episodes back to binge watch. Finally a new show that i have been loving is called Bulletproof on Sky One, if you love police/crime/action tv shows you will love this and i especially love the whole banter/comedy elements between the two main cast.

TV SHOWS I WANT TO WATCH THIS AUTUMN

Hello everyone! So last month i shared a post talking about all the tv shows that i think are perfect for binge watching, which you can catch here if you haven't done so already. With that in mind for today's post i wanted to share with you another "tv talk" type of post but this time in the form of, the tv shows i want to watch/what i am going to be watching this autumn in the evenings or weekends.

1. fuller house
I thought i would kick things off with a show i have already started to watch the new season of as soon as it was added to Netflix last weekend, that being said i have stopped myself from binge watching all of the episodes in one go. That being said so far there is only nine episodes that have been added in season three, as the series is being split into two halves and the second half will be added in a couple of months. If you have not heard of Fuller house or the original series Full house, you are truly missing out as it is an hilarious sitcom.

2. will&grace
Sticking with the theme of hilarious sitcoms, tomorrow one of my favourite tv shows of all time is back after eleven years and this makes me so happy. Will & Grace is another one of those shows just like Friends, where you can re-watch episodes over and over again without getting bored/still find it hilarious. I love every single character in this show equally as much as the other and i have a feeling once i sit down to watch the new season, i will be crying with laughter and happiness. Also if you follow me on twitter, you will probably know that there is pretty much a Will & Grace gif perfect for every situation/mood.

3. grey's anatomy
A show i just couldn't not add into the mix is Grey's Anatomy, you know it is truly autumn once the new season begins to air (usually september-may). I also can't believe that the show is on season fourteen yet it is not getting repetitive yet like some shows can, there is always a new drama/under story-line that has you hooked. So if you have never indulged into the world that is Grey's Anatomy, then i highly recommend you do so and especially if you are a lover of medical dramas.

4. scandal
Whilst on the subject of Grey's Anatomy, another TGIT show i literally can't wait for is Scandal even though this season is going to be its last. I mentioned in my "binge worth tv shows" post how i literally binge watched so hard on this show and watched five seasons in about a month. I always say this show brings exactly what it says and that is scandal. I am also super interested to see how things will come to an end and i low key think i will kick off throwing the remote at the tv, if this doesn't end with Olivia and Fitz walking into the sunset.

5. riverdale
Season one of Riverdale is something i forgot to mention in my "binge worthy tv shows" post, this autumn the show returns for season two and i literally can't wait. Unlike season one, season two is going to be made up of twenty-two episodes starting on the 12th October with weekly episodes and it can't come soon enough especially after the season one finale cliffhanger ending!

6. alias grace
Alias Grace is a new tv show coming to Netflix on the 3rd November, which is a series based on another hit book from the amazing Margaret Atwood aka the women behind the ever so talked about The Handmaids Tale. This show looks equally as deep/thrilling as The Handmaids Tale, this time based on a true story about Grace Marks a young/poor Irish immigrant and domestic servant in upper Canada. If you have not seen the trailer already, you must check it out here.

7. ncis: los angeles
The new season of NCIS: Los Angeles starts next month but i must admit, this show is one i like to save on series link because i love love love to binge watch this show. I have never been a fan of the other crime shows such as the original NCIS, CSI etc but this one i have loved every single season of. I love the mixture of serious, drama packed but also the comedy elements in the show and between the characters.

I would also love to know if you know of any great tv shows coming this Autumn? Tweet me @iamkatiee_ because who doesn't love discovering a new show?

BINGE WORTHY TV SHOWS

Hello everyone! For today's post i thought i would do something a little different and talk about all things tv shows, especially the ones i have been loving recently/been loving for quite some time. I mean come on let's face it we all love it when we find a binge-worthy tv show, perfect for either the evenings at home or at the weekend, don't we? Before i get into the shows, i thought i would just mention when it comes to tv shows i love a wide range of different genres (which i guess is the Gemini in me ha ha).

So i thought i would kick things off with hands down my favourite show at the moment, which is The Bold Type and it is currently in its first season (mid-way through). It usually takes me one or two episodes to get into a show, but with this show i was hooked from the start. I love how this show is a current day almost "sex and the city" vibed show, focused around three modern girls (and a magazine) in their 20's. This show is full of laughs, cry's, friendship, driven women and relationships, a perfect show which every episode fly's by super fast.

2. victoria and the crown (period dramas)
Next i thought i would share with you the show i am currently binge-watching and loving, as i am a season late on starting the period drama (which season 2 just started back on ITV). As i mentioned i love a variety of different show genres, period dramas and even more so now this one as fun fact i always love anything to do with Queen Victoria and her life. Sticking with the period drama theme, another show i was obsessed with this time a Netflix original series called The Crown. The Crown is all about the early days when Queen Elizabeth came to the thrown, you can binge watch season one on Netflix before season two which is coming this December.

3. teen wolf, shadowhunters and midnight texas (supernatural)
Moving onto the more "supernatural" tv shows i am obsessed with and are total binge worthy shows, kicking things off with Teen Wolf which is sadly on it's last remaining episodes but 100% a must watch show if you have never indulged before. You might think oh Teen Wolf that sounds light, which couldn't be further from the truth as the show always has you on the edge of your seat and your heart in your mouth from start to finish. Shadowhunters has a similar theme to it but this time featuring, shadowhunters and downworlders (aka werewolf, vampires, warlocks and faeries). Finally we have Midnight Texas, which for me has kind of filled the True Blood void (which i also recommend as it is from the same author) full of dark, southern supernatural-ness.

For me The Handmaid's Tale was one of those shows where i started to watch but was so confused about what was happening to begin with, yet i couldn't stop watching it and i was left feeling like i needed more after one episode had finished. This show is set in a society where not all the world is like this, yet they currently have no way out of it (the handmaid's that is) yet the main character Offred is determined to get out and you see her journey through her eyes, along side the other characters life's before this all happened.

5. power
Moving onto Power which is coming to the end of it's forth season and is the best crime/drama show i have seen in a long-time (a perfect binge watch show at that). The main character Ghost is a successful night club owner who in-fact moonlights as a drug dealer and is a show where two different worlds a more upper class lifestyle mixes with a lesser class lifestyle. Each episode has new twists and turns, keeping you hooked every week. With the show being a crime drama show, a little warning there are one or two violent/gory scenes, especially one scene in-particular this season involving one of my favourite characters.

6. grey's anatomy and scandal (tgit shows)
Next is two shows that if you have never seen before i highly recommend you binge-watch them both, Grey's Anatomy is about to start it's fourteenth season at the end of next month yet it is a show that has yet to get boring or same-y each week, it is a show that will make you feel all the feels each week. Scandal which is going to be starting it's seventh and final season in a couple of months, but definitely one not to miss out on especially if you are a fan of shows such as house of cards and designated survivor (similar genre). I was five seasons late to the Scandal party and it ended up being a show i binge watched hard, which i am not ashamed to admit.

Finally a type of reality tv that is my total guilty pleasure, in the form of The Bachelor and not just the regular Bachelor, i am talking The Bachelorette, Bachelor in Paradise, The Bachelor AU, NZ all of them i just can't get enough and i am not even ashamed to admit it. I love everything about it, from the drama between the either guys or girls in the mansion, the cute guy/s and the kind of comedy element it has to it. I love to play a guessing game with who is going to get a rose or not, you can usually guess easily but sometimes it takes you by surprise.

JULY FAVOURITES

Hey guys, i hope you are all having a great day whatever you are up to! So July is over now and there is only one month left of summer (which sucks) but that's just how it is. This month there has been a bunch of different products i have been loving, so here it is my July favourites...

Hands down my favourite thing from the month of July is the Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain's and i have only had them for a few days. They are truly that good, i even went back to boots on Wednesday and got my hands on the rest of the shades. Check out my blog post with more about them here:

I got this eyeshadow palette from one of my sisters for my birthday and i have just found myself reaching for it nearly every single day this month, it is the perfect neutral's palette with a perfect combination of matte and shimmer shades (blog post review coming next week).

These two products have been the perfect shower combination for me this month, they just work so well together. I am a huge fan on Sanctuary Spa products anyway but these two are on another level. I like how the body wash has the exfoliating beads in it but they just feel super smooth and sink into your skin and then when i get out the shower i apply the matching body lotion. My favourite thing over all that does it for me is that the Sanctuary products smell so fricking good!

I have never been one that has suited using a hair serum as they always leave my hair looking/feeling greasy more than anything which is super annoying. Until i spotted this new Dry Oil Mist by Schwarzkopf, which works in the same way as a serum but it doesn't weigh your hair down or make your hair appear greasy. A bonus to this product is that it has Argan Oil incorporated into it which is super healthy for your hair.

I have raved about these Balmi lip balm cubes way too much this month so i won't go into it too much but they are just so good/handy. I have never used a lip balm as hydrating for my lips as these are and they taste great.

Random Favourites:

TV Shows: I have been obsessed with two shows this month, firstly Teen Wolf which is always a favourite but there is honestly never a boring moment there is always something going off. I also love how much darker the show has become but there is definitely still some comedy element to it mainly from Stiles haha. Secondly i have been loving a show called Chasing Life, it's all about this girl who is only 24 and she discovers she has cancer and it's all about her coming to terms with how to deal with it.

Food: I have been loving the Nurti-Grain breakfast bakes which always used to be called Elevenses but obviously they just changed the name as it tastes the same.

Music: This month pretty much i have been listening to the two same albums which i mentioned in my non beauty favourites post, which are August Alsina - Testimony and Trey Songz - Trigga.

APRIL FAVOURITES

Hey guys! I hope you all had an amazing weekend whatever you got up to. I seriously can't believe it is the end of another month ALREADY! I keep feeling like i have been saying the same thing every month but it's true, the new month just keeps coming quicker each time. So here is a few of my favourite things from the month of April.

Elemis Fresh Skin - Skin Glow Face Wash.
I think i have mentioned in a previous blog post that i wanted to change up my skincare routine/items i was using. So i thought i would give this Elemis face wash a go and i love it! It firstly smells amazing as it contains cherry powder, jojoba beads, mandarin and aniseed; which all together smells so fresh and it leaves your skin feeling the same way.

Clarins - Beauty Flash Balm.
Like i said i wanted to change up my skincare, so i have been giving a few Clarins products a go and the beauty flash balm has definitely got to be my favourite. I have been using this as a primer right before applying my makeup, which is one of the ways you can use it or you can also apply a thick layer like a face mask and leave on for 10-15 mins then rinse away.

The Body Shop - Satsuma Shower Gel.
I think this particular fragrance of shower gel speaks for itself for lots of people, myself included. I am obsessed with the smell of this, it reminds me of those walls calippo ice lollies!

Soap & Glory - The Daily Smooth Body Butter.
Before i re discovered The Body Shop body butters, this soap & glory one was my holy grail go to one and after reaching for it again, i have fallen back in love with it. I think the thing what makes this particular one win over the tubs is the squeeze tube, it is just so much easier to get out and less messy.

Tresemmé - Keratin Smooth 60 Second Treatment Shot.
This is another one in my monthly favourites which i have mentioned in a couple of previous blog posts. I have switched my full hair care washing routine to the Keratin products and i just can't believe the difference in my hair, it's cut the time of blow drying/styling in half as it is just so much straighter and easier to handle.

Eylure - Lash Voluminous 24 Hour Eyeliner.
I haven't really been using much new this month makeup wise but whilst looking through my collection i re discovered this particular felt liner. I usually just use either my L'Oreal ultra precision liner or the MUA Luxe felt liner but that has dried out *sad face* so i reached for this one. I really like how easier it makes doing winged liner and how super black it is also.

Nivea - Vanilla and Macadamia Lip Butter.
This may just seem like boring old Nivea lip butter but oh my my this particular flavour smells and even tastes so good, almost like ice cream (the good kind you get in Italy). Another good thing about it is that it is super hydrating on my lips and they don't get dry anymore while im using this unlike before when using other lip balms/butters they would still get dry. My favourite combo is using the Lush lip scrub and then this after.

Random favourites:

TV Show: I have been watching Revenge for the whole of this month. I started watching the first couple of episodes back when it originally aired but lost interest, so i got back into it now and i am hooked!

Food: This month seeing has it has been Easter i have been loving Kinder Eggs as some of my family got me some for Easter. I just love anything Kinder chocolate!

Music: This month one of my favourite artists Justin Garner came out with a new EP called 7 and i just can't stop listening to it, whether it's when im getting ready in a morning or whilst doing some work. One of my favourite tracks is called Freakin Perfect.

GOODBYE FEBRUARY, HELLO MARCH

Saying that February is the shortest month of the year, it has actually felt like one of the longest. So March is finally here and we can start to say goodbye to winter and hello to spring time, pastel colours and hopefully some warmer weather. Here is some of my favourite things from the month of February...

Cream eyeshadows have been a real go to for me this month as they are great as a base for your regular eyeshadows or worn on itself. My two personal favourites are:
New CID Cosmetics i-colour long wear cream eyeshadow in the shade Romance.
Maybelline Color Tattoo 24Hr cream eyeshadow in the shade Permanent Taupe.

This month i had been wanting to try out a new foundation and had heard good reviews about the Revlon Colorstay foundation, so i gave it a try. I love this foundation it has a great finish to it and the lasting power is so good, i am not sure about 24hours though because i never have makeup on for that long but it definitely lasts all day long. At the end of last month the lovely Tanya Burr launched her range of lip glosses and nail polishes, so of course i had to make a purchase there. The quality of her products are amazing, i definitely recommend taking a look at her range.
Revlon Colorstay 24HR Foundation in the shade Ivory.
Tanya Burr Lipgloss in the shade Afternoon Tea.

At the end of last month i switched up my shampoo and condition as i thought my hair was feeling a little dry and lacking moisture. So i decided to give Aussie a try, i have never used any of their products before and i am so glad that i have now. I have seen the biggest change in my hairs condition just after the first use, it has made my hair super soft and in really good condition.
Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo.
Aussie Miracle Moist Conditioner.

This month i have re-discovered The Body Shop and fell in love with a lot of their products all over again and also tried out quiet a few new things to me.
The Body Shop Moringa Body Milk.
The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream Cleanser.

This month i have been listening to these two songs non stop, i just can't get enough of them.
Na Na - Trey Songz
Letter To My Ex - Pleasure P

Also i have been loving Marcus Cooper aka Pleasure P's new mixtape "Break Up to Make Up".
It has only been back for one episode after a mid-season break on the last day of the month, but Grey's Anatomy is one of favourite TV shows ever, such an amazing show!

So that is the end of my "February Favourites" what things have you been loving this month?
Hope you all have a great month of March and i will be back very soon...
