NEW-IN | BEAUTY WISHLIST

Hello everyone! So towards the end of last month i shared a similar style of post to today's instalment, only last month's post was about all things makeup wishlist/base makeup i want to try. That being said for this month's beauty wishlist post, i thought i would share with you the list of new-in beauty products that i am finding myself lusting after from high-end to affordable/drugstore...

I actually picked up the previous "YouTuber" limited edition MAC lipstick by Fleur DeForce, which was a stunning brown-ish nude shade but the latest limited edition release by one of my favourite YouTuber's is something else as it is literally my perfect nude shade in a tube. MAC lipsticks, more specifically MAC's nude lipstick are definitely some of my favourite lipsticks of all time so naturally i am going to need this in my life.

2. morphe continuous setting spray | £15 | currently join the waitlist |
Seeing as Morphe has disappeared from BeautyBay, it is now making a comeback to Cult Beauty which i can't wait for it to do so. Before hand i really wanted to give this setting spray a try, as it is perfect for setting/leaving your skin with a natural/even finish because of its continuous spray pump. Morphe products are re-launching soon!

Revolution are back at it again with the beautiful packaging as part of their new look products/packaging, especially this beautiful almost baked multi-coloured highlighting compact. I love how the packaging is super sleek, expensive looking yet obviously affordable and of course if it is anything like the formula of the other highlighters it will have a butter-y pigmented texture. These types of powders are great for using either all together or separately.

Another Revolution new-in product similar to the highlighting compact this time in blush form, which really reminds me of some of the Soap & Glory powders from way back when. If i am being completely honest i fall in and out of love when it comes to blushes, so i haven't picked one up for a while as i tend to reach for the same ones. I also believe Revolution have released an eyeshadow compact in a similar concept.

The final Revolution product of the post i swear, but i am just lusting after so many different new-in launches from the brand at the moment. This multi-usage illuminator from the Revolution Pro range has really caught my eye, especially the shade famous as i feel like it would look stunning as a lip-gloss topper. These illuminators can be used on the eyes, lips and face.

Facial oils especially super hydrating facial oils are one of my favourite types of skincare products, which i have mentioned in many a post previously and i am always looking for new ones to try out. This one by Estée Lauder recently caught my eye on the new-in section at Debenhams and i straight away thought, that is for me but the only thing that isn't for me is the price because it is super expensive at £48 for just 30ml!

7. garnier eye sheet mask | £1.99 |
Moving onto a skincare item that is definitely a lot more affordable, which is these new-in eye sheet masks by Garnier. I use the face sheet masks every single week, so of course i was going to be intrigued about giving the eye masks a try if they were launched. You can pick these up in two different formulations, one is the hyaluronic acid and orange and the other is hyaluronic and coconut. I also believe Garnier has also released a new range of the facial sheet masks also, which i will also pick some up of the next time i am in Superdrug.

Finally we have a nail polish from the latest shine collection by OPI, which is the most beautiful pale cool-ish toned nude polish. I haven't really picked up any new nail polishes for a while, so i think i might treat myself to a new one as i have been reaching for the same ones in my current collection over and over. OPI nail polishes are a little more price-y than your average nail polish but the quality/the length they stay chip-free for is worth it!

SUMMER BEAUTY HACKS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Hello everyone! Let's be honest Summer is pretty much the best season there is, right? I mean there is no better than feeling the sun/warm on your skin. That being said the warm weather can make your skin not be happy, leaving you looking like a sweaty mess when wearing your regular makeup, hair or skincare routine. With that in mind for today's post i thought i would share with you some of my personal favourite Summer beauty hacks, that actually make a huge difference...

 1. switch out your winter favourites, replacing them with summer favourites
Ditch the super heavy smoky eye looks, replacing them with something light/simple like a shimmery gold eye look or a simple neutral shade blended out. Step away from the vamp-y lip shades, replacing them with a simple nude/glossy lip or tinted balm. Natural glowing skin, is a summer must.

2. how to stop your eyelids from creasing
I know for me something i do struggle with when the weather is warm is eyeshadow creasing, which never happens during the winter months. This is where a good eyeshadow primer does come in handy, such as the Urban Decay Primer Potion as nothing will budge if you are wearing this.

3. how to stop your mascara from transferring
This is such a simple hack but an extremely effective one to stop your mascara from transferring onto your under-eye area or eye lids, which is to switch out your regular go-to mascara for the waterproof version. I know waterproof mascara can be a pain to get off at the end of the day, but with the right eye-makeup remover you will be mascara free in seconds.

4. use the foundation you know works well for you
If you are opting for foundation or a tinted moisturiser in the summer, make sure it is one that you know is going to last in the heat or one that is specifically designed to last the duration. Some of my favourites are the Maybelline Fit Me, Estée Lauder Double Wear or Double Wear Nude.

5. exfoliate/moisturise regularly
When it comes to summer taking care of your skin especially your legs, as you are obviously going to be shaving/removing hair more often than you probably would in winter. Exfoliating your skin is super important as it reduces the chances of getting ingrown hairs, as well as any dead skin. Moisturise your skin straight after shaving, that is going to drastically reduce any irritation.

6. argan oil/oil's will be your best friend
Humidity can be a pain, especially on certain hair types (mine included) you can do your hair perfectly straight until you step out into the heat, then you look more like Simba from the Lion King. A simple trick to prevent/ease frizz is by adding Argan Oil to the lengths of your hair after washing and before styling. Argan Oil is really good for also keeping your skin super hydrated.

7. keep your feet feeling/looking fresh
Obviously in summer you are wearing sandals/having your feet on display a lot more than you would during winter. So keeping your feet and heels, looking/feeling fresh is a must and an easy way to keep the cracked heels away is to simply apply either vaseline or foot cream to your feet every night before bed.

 8. invest in a setting spray
Another great way of keeping your makeup in place all day long, is to invest in a good setting spray. You can apply a small amount before and after applying makeup to help lock it into place, as well as applying more through-out the day to freshen/re-hydrate your skin. Setting spray is a great way of avoiding applying layers and layers of powders, when touching up.

9. use more cream/liquid form products rather than powders
During summer wearing too many powder form products can feel super heavy on the skin, just like i mentioned with the whole using setting spray over powder for touch-ups. The products you can switch from powder to cream/liquid form are blush, contour and highlighter. Cream/liquid products once blended out, also look a lot more natural unlike some powders.

10. disguising those tan lines
Hate wearing a certain outfit that shows off a different outfits/swimsuits awkward tine lines? You can disguise/cover them instantly simply by applying a little moisturiser to the white line areas before applying a little self-tan to the same areas, making sure you blend it out of course to make it look as natural as possible.

FLAWLESS + GLOWING NO MAKEUP, MAKEUP FOR SPRING/SUMMER

Hello everyone! Over the past week or so i have been reaching for the same makeup products, for a quick and easy no makeup, makeup look but still keeping that flawless finish to it. I am so obsessed with the way all of these products work together and it literally takes me around 15 minutes in total to create. I have noticed ever since i have been using the Revolution brow tint for my eyebrows, it has cut my makeup routine right now and it was probably taking me the longest to do my brows but this stuff it fuss free and easy...

First things first before i apply any form of makeup, i have been obsessed with using this spray every single day before i apply my foundation and after i have applied my NUXE dry facial oil. This spray can be used in so many different ways but my favourite way to use it, is before makeup and then afterwards to set it all in place and it leaves your skin looking/feeling super hydrated.

As this is a "no makeup, makeup" look i am going for i have actually been reaching for this foundation and even though it is a HD foundation, it is still light-weight feeling. The trick is to use a lot less than you normally would go far, just so you get that flawless/even base but your skin still looks like skin. This foundation is great for spring/summer or warmer weather, as it is super long-wearing and pretty sweat-proof too.

So this product is a way back when holy grail item that i always used to reach for, which i have recently re-discovered and i forgot how much i love this product. This is such a great light-weight product to pop under the eyes when you want a medium coverage with a highlighted finish, for a bright more awake under-eye.

I actually featured this particular product in a first impressions post last week, which you can catch up on here if you didn't catch it the first time. This is one of those products that you don't expect to be very good, but it is honestly one of the most beautiful items that you could have in your collection and especially for spring/summer. This gives your skin the most beautiful and healthy looking almost dewy/sunkissed glow, when applied with a damp beauty blender. I honestly can't put this product down at the moment for all of those reasons, as well as the fact it smells like coconut.

I have mentioned before how much i love reaching for this bronzer, especially in the summer months as it gives you the most beautiful sunkissed bronzed finish. The brand always release different limited edition versions of this bronzer every year, in a similar way to what Estée Lauder do. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative the bronzer i featured in that first impression i mentioned above, is super similar.

For eyes i keep things super simple, as it is still pretty much a no makeup, makeup look and a lot of the products are focused on the skin. That being said i still like to apply some mascara to my top and bottom lashes, i really like this ps pro mascara at the moment as you can achieve super long yet clump-free lashes really quickly and you don't have to apply in layers to build it up. Then i like to set my brows in place, even though i already have the brow tint on my brows.

Even though this is suppose to be "no makeup, makeup" i still like to go in with a nude lip combination of some kind and this particular one has been my one of choice just recently. I have mentioned in a couple of posts now how much i love this gloss, it looks super glossy yet not sticky and you can wear it alone, simply with a lip liner or lipstick/liquid lipstick as a topper.

SIX HIGH-END PRODUCTS I PROBABLY COULDN'T LIVE WITHOUT

Hello everyone! We all have those certain products in our makeup collections that we are always reaching for and re-purchasing over and over again, simply because we are that obsessed with that particular product. With that being said i thought i would share with you the products i probably couldn't live without in my collection, as part of a two part series and kicking things off with the six high-end products.

Out of all of the "high-end" foundations i have tried and loved over the years, this is the foundation that i always have to keep a bottle in stock (along side another foundation). I have reached for this foundation and loved for so many years now, as it honestly never lets me down and is great if you are really wanting a full coverage/bulletproof base. This always lasts all day long on me, in fact more often than not it still looks freshly applied when i come to remove it. It is definitely one of those sweat-proof, shine-proof and weather-proof foundations, which retails for £32.50GBP.

Ever since i first tried this product out years ago now, i have constantly reached for it on an everyday basis and nothing else. Even though recently i have been reaching for a fair few newer products, i still keeping going back to this. That being said even though you might think £19GBP for such a small brow product might seem a little steep, don't be fooled as a tiny amount goes a long way and it will last you for a really long time. As this is a pomade it is each to work with, pigmented and is another one of those bullet-proof products.

If you remember earlier on in the year i mentioned that i tried to get my hands on this particular bronzer in the shade medium, for the longest time but finally i managed to get one and ever since then i have barely put it down. It straight away went to the top of my favourite bronzer of all time list, as it is just simply stunning with its natural finish and effortlessness to blend. I honestly thought my much loved NARS laguna bronzer, would take some beating but how i was wrong. This bronzer retails for £25GBP and comes in four shades.

So this was probably the hardest decision to make, as i am a complete highlighter addict and i have so many favourites. That being said it would definitely be between this one by MAC and the topaz powder highlight by Jouer, which is currently broken up into a million pieces so i definitely need to pick up another soon. I love how fine-milled/lightweight the formula of the extra dimension skinfinishes are and the shade oh darling is simply the most beautiful metallic gold shade, which is my favourite tone of highlighter. The extra dimension skinfinishes retail for £24.50GBP and come in seven different shades.

There is no shock that the rest of the products in this post are all from MAC, because they are probably my favourite brand for lip products. I have so many different lip liners from the brand and if i could only keep a select few, they would definitely stay unlike ones from other brands. Out of the regular formula and the pro longwear formula, the pro longwear liners are by far my favourite as they are super pigmented, longer wearing and easier to apply. A particular favourite shade of mine is the shade oh honey! (warm nude shade), this particular formula of lip liner retails for £15.50GBP and the regular formula ones are £13.00GBP.

Finally if you know anything about me, then you will probably know that i am a complete nude lipstick/lip product hoarder in general and i actually always say if i was to completely get rid of all of my lip products but only keep one kind, it would be my MAC lipsticks. MAC lipsticks are just those cult classic favourite loved by many people, me especially as they are pigmented, come in so many different shades and they last for quite a long time on the lips. Just like any person i definitely have my favourite ones in my collection (shock horror the nudes), such as yash (deep neutral matte), honey love (light beige tone matte) and peachstock (creamy beige peach satin). The MAC lipsticks retail for £16.50RRP.

EVERYDAY AUTUMN "SPEEDY" MAKEUP

Hello everyone! So we all have those specific makeup looks/products we go for when it comes to applying makeup in a hurry, or when we don't want to spend a lot of time putting a look together. You know how it is now that the mornings are darker seeing as it is autumn, it is such a task to not press snooze over and over again on your alarm and that means less time to get ready before rushing out the door. (This complete makeup look will take me around 20 minutes or so, all depending how quick i work).

When it comes to primer i am all for the quickest and easiest thing to apply, so i will either go with a primer spray or a strobe cream (usually the one from MAC). That being said i am loving this new one from MUA, as it is super moisturising, easy to apply and gives you the most beautiful almost "glow from within glow" look.

So next up is foundation and i have my select group of foundations i love the most, which is either this one, the fit me foundation by Maybelline or the all day luminous weightless by NARS. That being said recently i have been reaching for this one more, as i really like how quick you can achieve full coverage with a little amount of product, how everything applies/blends quickly and effortlessly which is what you want in a rush.

If you read my last current everyday base makeup post, you will know that i mentioned that i had misplaced my back ups of this particular concealer as it is my favourite. Long story short, i finally found them so of course i was straight back to using it every single day. I just love how full coverage yet lightweight feeling it is, how it blends out effortlessly and doesn't crease because of how hydrating the formula is. Then all that i do once it is blended out is set it with some powder, recently i have been giving this MUA luxe set and reflect finishing powder out and so far, so good i am enjoying using the powder and the highlighter.

Last month i did a full first impression/review post on this particular liquid highlighter, which you can catch here if you haven't done so already. That being said i am obsessed with this one recently and it has become my new go-to, even if i am in a rush i now never skip liquid highlighter/illuminator as it makes such a difference.

This will come to no shock that i am using this bronzer still, i just can't put it down and this is definitely the perfect bronzer to apply when it comes to being in a rush. The reason for that is because of how effortless and flawless this product blends out, leaving you with the most beautiful bronzed up skin all day long. Then i will sometimes go in with a little blush (more often than non i will skip out on it) but seeing as it is autumn, it is nice to add something there and the shade velvet from the nip+fab blush palette is perfect for that.

As you can probably tell i am actually loving reaching for quite a few products from MUA recently, this brow pencil being one of them. I love how natural this fills in your brows, how easy it is to give them shape without taking too long. I find it super handy as well for being in a rush, that you don't have to search for a spoolie to comb through your brows as it has one on the other end of the pencil. This is honestly the perfect drugstore dupe to the brow definer by Anastasia Beverly Hills, yet this one is a bargain at £4.

When it comes to an eye look in a hurry i play it super safe, by either keeping things matte with a couple of warm neutral brown shades in the crease and on the lid. That being said if i want something a little bit extra in a rush, i will go with a pigment by MAC as they are super quick to apply and look simply beautiful. Then to complete the look i will quickly curl my lashes/apply some mascara and my current mascara of choice, is my trusty KIKO 30 day lash treatment mascara.

Finally when it comes to lips, you know i am going to stick with a nude whether i am in a rush or not because you just can't go wrong with that. In autumn my two favourite lip liners to reach for are the shades oak and whirl, both by MAC as they are definitely more on the deeper nude side and they look great paired with pretty much any nude colour applied on top. At the moment my favourite liquid lipsticks are the ones by Nip+Fab.

Don't forget you can click on the product names and shop to buy...

MUSIC AT THE MOMENT: AUGUST EDITION

Hello everyone! It has been a good few months now since i last shared with you all a "music at the moment" type of post and those type of posts seem to go down quite well, so i thought it was about time to give you an updated version. Every opportunity i get to listen to music, i will listen to it and i can never get enough. Just recently thought i have been loving listening to a mixture of stuff from some throwback music, along side some new stuff and a few cover versions of songs here and there also. BROW PRODUCTS TRIED AND TESTED

Hello everyone! Earlier this year i shared with you all my current brow routine, which you can catch here if you haven't already and i mentioned how i barely switch up the products up that i use on my brows. Saying that over the years i have tried out my fair share of eyebrow products, before landing on a cult favourites and just recently i have been trying to switch things up from time to time. With that in mind for today's post i thought i would share with you some tried and tested eyebrow products, that i love and would recommend giving a go.

So i thought i would kick things off with the "cult favourite" brow product that i mentioned and is something i used every single day for well over a year, because i was that obsessed with it and i still have so much love for this product. Using a pomade is super easy to control what you are doing with the product, as you are using a brush to create the shape/hair-like strokes. This product will keep your brows on through anything, sun, sweating, rain, hail, snow as it is completely budge proof and waterproof. This pomade retails for £15 but is well worth the money in my eyes, this tiny pot will last you such a long time and a little goes a long way.

If you are still not convinced about the ABH dipbrow pomade or you have never tried a brow pomade out before and you don't want to spend a ton of money, on something you might not like then this product is for you. Just like the ABH one this is also is also long wearing, budge proof and has a similar if not identical formula. The only difference between the two products is this one is probably a touch cooler in tone and this one only retails for £5 on tam beauty or superdrug in-store and online.

If brow powder is your thing then you definitely need this one in your life, which also happens to be from freedom makeup london and another dupe for an ABH product. This brow powder is pigmented, yet easy to work with and also long wearing. As this is a brow powder duo is comes with two different shades one cool toned and one a little darker (which is the one i always use) but you could use a mixture of the two all depending on your personal preference. The most baffling/amazing thing about this product is the fact it only retails for £2 for such an amazing product, that i have been reaching for on a regular basis recently.

This product has been a real brow saviour and is something i have used every single day on my brows for around a year now, i simply brush some on my brows before i start my makeup. This products acts almost like a primer for your brows, allowing product to sit/last longer and better, as well as encouraging your brow hairs to grow fuller and thicker. It isn't the cheapest of product retailing for £23.50 but just like a lot of brow products, a little goes a long way and lasts you for quite a while.

This particular product from L'Oréal is another cult favourite of mine and one that i go back to over and over again, as nothing ever seems to quite compare to this brow gel for me. I like to brush/set my brows in place by combing through them with this upwards, doing this gives you the appearance of fuller and fluffier brows that will stay put all day long. A great thing about this product is as it is tinted, you could simply apply a small amount to your brows if you are in a hurry and you would be good to go. Another great product from the L'Oréal brow artist range is the brow artist shaper in the shade dark brunette and probably my favourite drugstore brow pencil, as i really struggle with the shades of pencils being too warm toned and making my brows appear reddish, yet this one doesn't do that at all and it is also super easy to work with.

So i picked this up in the sale on feel unique recently, as i really wanted to experiment more with brow pencils and i thought why not give this one a go, as i always love anything i have tried from Estée Lauder and this product was no different. Even though this is in the shade black, you wouldn't think so as it isn't too dark and it matches the tone of my brows perfectly. The tip of this pencil is super thin and is perfect for creating hair like stokes, for a full yet natural everyday brow. This is also a duo product so one end is the brow product and the other end is a beautiful brow bone highlight shade, that allows you to clean/neaten up the brows easily.

Finally we have a product that will make all the difference when it comes to filling in your brows and also their over-all appearance when you aren't wearing makeup. I have tried a couple of different brands of eyebrow dyes, yet nothing compares to this one from Eylure. A lot of the time we are quick to spend unnecessary money on getting our eyebrows tinted at a salon, when you can get the exact same result easily from the comfort of your own home. One of these dybrow kits lasts for 12 or more uses for around the £7 mark and some salons charge more than that for one treatment.

CURRENT "QUICK" EVERYDAY MAKEUP: ORDER OF APPLICATION

Hello everyone! Just recently when it comes to applying my makeup on a normal week-day morning, i have been loving a specific "simple/quick" makeup look and that probably takes me around 20-30 minutes (all depending on if i leave my phone alone/i don't have a little dance party to whatever music i am listening to ha). With that in mind for today's post i thought why not share with you all what i have been using/the order in which i apply the products, as i have recently had a little switch up in the order of what i do things.

First up is primer and i am such a spray primer kind of girl these days, as it is super quick and easy. I recently started to use this one from Rimmel and i am in love with it, as it is quick drying, locks in makeup and it doesn't smell chemically like some can do, it smells really fresh. As this is a 2-in-1 product i both start my makeup and finish it with a spritz of this, then i am good to go.

Next up is foundation and at the moment i am loving this combination of a little bit of these two foundations together, it is super full coverage, flawless, long-wearing and sweat-proof. I just like to dot a little bit of each all over my face, before blending out with a damp beautyblender.

So once my foundation is done i actually like to move on to my eyes before doing anymore face makeup, starting with filling in my brows. For a couple of months now i have been loving using a mixture of these two products together, using the eyebrow powder duo at the front of the brow and the dipbrow pomade towards the end/arch of the brow and i use the shade dark brown in both of the products. Then before moving on-to eyeshadow i will clean my brows up/prime my eyes using a little bit of concealer and setting powder.

Moving onto the eyeshadow and this step is super super quick, as i literally use one shade from this palette and that is the shade called deserted, it is the perfect transition/crease/all over lid brown shade and it only takes one fluffy blending brush to do it all and then i will also apply some on my lower lash-line.

Next up i like to go in with mascara once i have curled my lashes, i recently did a first impression/review on this mascara which you can catch up on here. This mascara is amazing and gives a voluminous false-lash effect in an instant, without need for spending time on apply falsies.

So once i have done my top lashes i like to go in with concealer and powder before finishing off my lower lashes, you will not be shocked to see this concealer as it is my favourite go-to mascara and it never lets me down. I just apply this in a triangle shape under my eyes, down the bridge of my nose, chin and centre of my forehead before blending out with my beautyblender.

As i mentioned above, after applying concealer i like to go in and just set the areas where i applied the concealer, to set that in place. Towards the end of last month i did a post dedicated to my all time favourite setting powders, which you can catch this particular powder featured in here.

Moving back on-to the eyes and this time with an eyeliner pencil in the waterline, i always tend to opt for a brown this this sort of look as it is a lot softer and more natural looking. This particular one from urban decay is favourite, along side the master drama the nudes one from maybelline. Once that is applied all that is left to do is go back in with some mascara on my lower lashes.

Highlighter is something i switch up the most, as it is no secret it is my favourite thing ever but when i am wearing this specific look there is just something about this highlighter that is simply beautiful, with its golden glow. I love love love applying my highlighter recently using the freedom ff103 brush it just picks up an even amount of product, allowing you to glow to out of space.

Last of all for the powder/face products is bronzer, i love to contour/bronze at the same time as i just find it a lot quicker to do and you can do that beautifully with this bronzer. I also find that if you apply this after your highlighter, it just allows the two products to fuse/tie together better and doesn't look as harsh. Once that is done i go in with my brow gel through my brows, because this just allows you to brush away any powder that might have fell into your brows during application.

The final step in this makeup look is lips and i always start off by lining my lips, usually with this particular pencil from mac as it is my go-to favourite and it goes with any other nude lip product applied on top, which is such a bonus. My favourite thing about this lip liner besides the shade is the formula, as it is super creamy yet easy to work with and long-lasting.

Once i have applied lip liner i like to go in with my lip product of choice and recently i have really been loving going back to basics, by using a bullet lipstick rather than a liquid lipstick. I mentioned a favourite at the moment is mac's peachstock in my july beauty favourites but i have also really been loving the rimmel kate moss lipstick in the shade 40 from her nudes collection.

SPRING MAKEUP SWITCH UP: CREAM GLOW

Hello everyone! So now that we are firmly into spring, we can officially transition our makeup routines to fit in with the "slightly" warmer weather. Just recently i have been really enjoying using cream highlighters in my everyday makeup and setting it with a powder highlight, to add something a little extra glow-y for the time of year. With that in mind i thought why not share with you a selection of my personal favourite cream based highlighters, that i love reaching for from my collection.

If you are all about that subtle/natural glow, maybe in general or as part of a "no makeup" makeup look, then this particular cream based highlighter is perfect for that. MAC stock a wide range of different shades in this product, but the shade pearl is a favourite of mine as it is the most beautiful sheer pale gold with a slight icy-like shimmer to it. To achieve a more intense look with this product i like to apply the extra dimension skinfinish in the shade doublegleam with a fan brush, as they compliment each other well.

If you don't really want to splash the cash on the MAC cream colour base, then this strobe balm from Makeup Revolution is almost identical and it is only £5. The only difference i would say there was between the two products is that the strobe balm is slightly easier to work with, as it is more of thinner "balm" consistency.

Last year these particular palettes from Sleek were well talked about in the beauty community on social media, especially the solstice palette. That being said my favourite for the cream shades is the precious metals palette, as it contains three stunning easy to work with cream shades. Unlike the two products above, these are definitely more of a blinding highlight. Last year i did a full haul/review post on the palettes here.

maybelline master strobe liquid in the shade medium
If cream highlight isn't really the type of product for you, then another alternative is more of a liquid consistency highlight like the strobe liquid from maybelline. The shade medium is my favourite, as it is the most stunning nude/bronze shade and we all know they are my kind of tones. As this product is a liquid highlight you can even add a tiny amount to your foundation, rather than just applying it to the high points of your face.

estée lauder genuine glow eyelighting creme in the shade sweetest thing
These particular creme highlighter pens from estée lauder were a favourite of mine last summer, so much so i had to pick up all three shades. They are such a fuss free/easy to use product, with a twist up to use concept and an applicator similar to the maybelline age rewind concealer, where it does most of the blending out as your apply. This particular shade is my favourite from the three, as it is the most beautiful golden/bronze shade.

maybelline master strobing stick in the shade light
As i had picked the shade medium in the strobe liquid, i decided to pick up the shade light in the strobing stick as i bought both products at the same time. As this is a strobing stick and not a liquid, it is more of a thick cream-like consistency that can be applied either straight to the face and blended out with a beauty blender, or simply rub some products onto your finger and pat into the skin, which happens to be my favourite way.

GET "UNREADY" WITH ME: WEEKEND EDITION

Hey guys, i hope you are all having an amazing day whatever you are up to and happy monday! So yesterday was sunday...obviously and for today's post i thought i would share with you my get unready beauty/pamper routine...

First things first you've got to get rid of that makeup and just lately i have been loving this combination of products. Firstly i take the Estée Lauder Eye Makeup Remover onto two cotton pads and i remove all of my eye makeup, then taking a small amount of the Estée Lauder Take It Away Lotion on my fingers and rubbing it all over the rest of my face and rinse with water. Next up is a facial exfoliator and i am loving this one from L'Oreal it is the Skin Perfection Radiance Revealing one, i just apply some of the product onto my fingers and then massage it all over my face before rinsing it away with a damp face cloth.

Bathroom pamper time, i decided to use this Candy Mountain Bubble Bar from Lush what i had still in my little Lush product stash along with the limited edition valentine's Prince Charming Shower Gel... which i am obsessed with (not as much as snow fairy though i must add). I also used some of the Scrub of your Life from Soap & Glory.

Seeing as my face is all squeaky clean and makeup free, it's time for some skincare. Firstly i like to apply some of the L'Oreal Skin Perfection Advanced Correcting Serum to my face and also my neck, next i also apply some of the Estée Lauder Advance Night Repair Serum mainly concentrating that around my eye area. Next up is moisturizer and i follow up using the L'Oreal Skin Perfection Anti Fatigue Perk-Up Cream, i also apply this all over my face and neck just as i did the Serum. Finally i apply some of the Estée Lauder Advanced Time Zone Eye Cream.

I had almost forgotten this step, you've got to take care of them lips just as much as your skin. I love this Bubblegum Lip Scrub from Lush as it just removes any dryness that has built up on your lips, whether that's from wearing lipstick all day, the cold weather or even a combination of the two.

It is almost time to put them pyjamas on (who else agrees that is the best part of the day?) but firstly i like to apply some of the Daily Smooth Body Butter from Soap & Glory to keep all of my skin feeling super silky smooth and soft.

And when all the beauty/pampering things are done it is time for the entertainment. Last tuesday i purchased this months new copy of Glamour magazine for the soul purpose that Jamie Dornan is on the cover *man crush alert* but i only just got around to reading it. Words can't describe how excited i am about going to watch the movie at the weekend. After some light reading and drooling at how gorgeous that man is it is time for some TV and the show i am hooked on right now is The Mysteries of Laura, which if you haven't heard or seen anything about the show, it is a police comedy/drama series starring Debra Messing who is fricking hilarious in general.

CURRENT SKINCARE FAVOURITES

Hey guys, i hope you are all having an amazing day whatever you are up to! Since my last "skincare routine" post back in blogmas i have been trying out a few different items and have replaced them with some of the items i was using before. So for today's post i thought i would share with you some of my current skincare favourites...

L'Oreal Skin Perfection Radiance Revealing Gentle Exfoliator -
I shared with Facial Exfoliator with you all in a previous blog post, which was a haul post. I had found myself in a crisis after running out of my holy grail facial wash and needed to pick one up asap, so i decided to give this one a try. I love this way more than the Elemis one i was using previously which shocked me, it honestly leaves my face feeling so refreshed, glowing and super soft. The biggest bonus in this whole discovery is that it is about a fifth of the cost of the Elemis coming in at under £3 from Boots.

L'Oreal Skin Perfection Serum -
This item has replaced my Clarins HydraQuench one as i was just finding it really hard to part with £42 each time i ran out and thought there must be an equally as good product out there for a fraction of the price. I had heard a lot of good reviews on the L'Oreal Serum so i decided to give it a try, it is a perfect skincare line designed specifically for my age group. This product comes in at around £14.45 all depending what deals are on with various stores.

L'Oreal Skin Perfection Anti-Fatigue Perk-Up Daily Moisturizer -
Seeing as i have been really loving the Serum from the same range, i thought i had better give the moisturizer a whirl and in all honesty for me these two products go hand in hand together and work like a dream for me. I have noticed such a difference in the appearance of my skin and very suddenly too not just gradually over time... i think i have found a keeper!

Estée Lauder Gentle Eye Makeup Remover -
I have always been one of those that gives eye makeup remover solution one try and still haven't found one that has overly impressed me until i tried this one. The first time i tried it out was when i was wearing a really heavy smokey eye and to my surprise it all came off only using one cotton pad for each eye and even after washing the rest of my makeup off there was no black panda eye business going off... so impressed!

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair -
This is product that i probably not have to purchase a full size in for a long time as for some reason i have so many travel sizes of. I have been using this in place of the L'Oreal Skin Perfection Serum under my moisturizer at night time only... obviously hence it's "night repair" title.

Maybelline Baby Lips Dr. Rescue -
I know this might seem like a random thing to include as skincare but your lips have skin on them right? One thing i always do before going to bed is apply lots of lip balm so keep my lips hydrated during the night and then i apply it again in the morning and a couple of times during the day in-between lip colours. I also mentioned this lip balm in my previous haul post.
