THINGS I'M LOVING FROM SUPERDRUG RIGHT NOW

Hello everyone! So i actually feel like it has been a hot minute since i last picked up any new makeup apart from the essentials, as i have been trying to cut back on the amount i buy because i literally have so much and it just starts to feel like a waste (if the me four years ago could hear me say this, she would probably laugh at this me). That being said i did recently pick up a couple of new makeup bits from Superdrug, as i was placing an order for some everyday essentials and i thought why not share the things i am loving from Superdrug right now...

So of course my intentions wasn't to buy any more highlighters because lets face it have so many already, that being said i simply couldn't not pick this one up after seeing it on Instagram. To say that this product is only £6 is insane, as it is extremely pigmented yet silky smooth and not at all powdery like some affordable highlighters can be. This highlighter comes as a duo with a pink-y highlight shade and then more of a light golden shade, which i have to say is my personal favourite from the palette. The packaging is also super cute, as it looks like a melting metallic chocolate bar.

If you read my recent july must-buys post then you will have already seen that i had actually ordered one of these new releases by L'Oréal in the shade Sweet Tooth. I have not fallen in love with a new liquid lipstick for so long now, but i am head over heels over this one and i just can't stop wearing it now. The shade Sweet Tooth is the most perfect light almost peach-y/beige nude colour, which is one of my favourites to wear. The formula of these liquid lipsticks are also super comfortable to wear, lightweight feeling and they also smell so dreamy just like warm chocolate smells.

I have actually mentioned this nail polish so many times in blog posts over the years, as it is a firm favourite of mine. That being said my current bottle had completely ran out and i was yet to pick another one up, so i had been reaching for other nail polishes...until my sister actually picked me one for as one of my many birthday presents and now i can't stop wearing it again and for me it is the perfect nude nail polish colour.

When it comes to brows for the past few months i have been using the revolution brow tint, which you paint on and leave for a couple of hours before peeling off leaving you with perfect filled in brows. That being said as it does fade after a few days, you do need to touch your brows up when filling them in and i had completely ran out of my beloved Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pomade. Seeing as i don't reach for it everyday now, i thought i would pick up a more affordable product which does the same job and this one is pretty much exactly the same (except for the price difference obviously).

Finally i have actually been reaching for this which i picked up whilst placing that Superdrug order, as i wan't something as a top up in-between tan product. If you watch Love Island, then you will see this range of products from Superdrug being shown a lot as they are the Sponsors again this year. I had also seen a few people saying how they couldn't believe how good this product was for the price, which i completely agree with. It doesn't have that horrible "biscuit-y" scent, it smells really nice and it is super moisturising.

AFFORDABLE MAKEUP | MARCH LUST LIST

Hello everyone! I have mentioned this before in a different post, how i feel as if drugstore/affordable makeup brands are absolutely killing the product quality game at the moment and i actually prefer i a lot of those type of products over some high-end brands. Last month and this month so far has seen so many great new product launches, which have left me lusting after needing them in my collection. With that in mind for today's post i thought i would share with you my current affordable makeup lust list, consisting of a mixture of makeup and skincare products from either the drugstore or affordable brands...

Years ago now when Maybelline launched their "the nudes" eyeshadow palettes, i became obsessed with how amazing the quality was for drugstore. They recently released this new total temptation eyeshadow and highlight palette, which is filled with such a variety of different shades/tones and of course i am itching to get my hands on the warm toned shadows in the palette.

I love a bunch of different makeup products from Morphe and every single thing i have is amazing quality for the price point. They recently released a huge selection of lip liner pencils, which i particularly want to try this shade called fairy dust because i think it will be the perfect shade to pair with peachstock lipstick from MAC.

I have seen/heard quite a few people rave about how good using Vitamin E is for your skin, especially for helping with keeping the signs of ageing in check amongst other great skin benefits. That being said i researched and so many people recommended the Superdrug own brand version, which if it is good is a complete skincare bargain.

Recently Makeup Revolution have released a bunch of new amazing products, including the Fast Base foundation which i am living for and can't seem to put down. Another stick form product they have released are these creme highlight/contour kits, which come with a dual ended brush and it is giving me complete KKW dupe vibes.

So this particular foundation has been on my lust list for a while now, as so many people have raved about it repeatedly but it is such a struggle to get a hold of in the UK (unless you want to pay over the extras on Amazon). If anyone knows a good site to get a hold of this from the UK, please tweet me because i really want to try it out.

As well as Makeup Revolution, L'Oréal have also recently released a bunch of new products which are also very much about that glowing radiant skin and i am all about that look. Starting with these liquid highlighting drops, which i am really into using at the moment and this particular champagne shade looks simply stunning.

Another release from L'Oréal is this matte bronzing powder, which to me screams summer vibes (especially as it is infused with coconut). I love how this bronzer is matte rather than shimmery, for a natural sun kissed glow which looks like the perfect tone not too warm or too cool. They also have a new blush/s in the similar concept.

Yet another launch from Makeup Revolution, which is fitting in with this whole nude vibe that i am of course living for. The new nudes collection is full of both matte and gloss finish nude lip colours and i am particularly drawn to this shade called buff, also £3 for a lip product is a complete bargain.

Another liquid highlighter that i have my eye on is this one from Bleach London, which i have never tried anything from the brand before but i have heard such good things. This illuminating liquid looks like such a simply stunning golden dewy shade, the only issue is that this product seems to be forever out of stock.

So finally last on my current lust list is this new release in the line of face masks from L'Oréal, which i was obsessed with the glow clay mask from the original line of products. As i have more of the dry skin type, i need all the help i can get when it comes to getting radiant/glowing looking skin.

TESTING PRIMARK BEAUTY

Hello everyone! Let's all be honest here, who doesn't love a little Primark spree from time to time? I mean over the years i have found some hidden gems and i also love love love their pyjama selection and homeware. That being said something i haven't really tried a lot of (except from the nails, lip liners and roller ball perfume) is their beauty/makeup range. So i decided to pick up a few beauty items that i haven't seen anyone really review/talk about already and put them to the test, some things i loved, some i didn't love so much.

As i mentioned at the beginning of the post, i have actually tried the rose gold explosion roller ball perfume and it is one i love to keep in my handbag at all times. So whilst i was browsing through the fragrance section i saw this "private collection" range of fragrances and as soon as i smelt this particular one, i was like ok sold. This particular fragrance is quite fresh yet it has that slight "cologne" manly notes to it and i really liked about it. I also love how this particular size is perfect for your handbag also, like a roller ball and is a bargain at only £3, for quite a luxury/sleek looking product. This particular collection is available in two sizes, as well as a hand wash.

Seeing as i am completely obsessed with cream contour sticks at the moment, i thought i would pick this particular one up as it claims it is more of a "bronze" highlighting stick and that is definitely more my preference as i don't love a cool contour stick, i prefer something a little warmer. That being said once applied this is way more cool toned than it looks in the stick and once you start to blend it out it looks quite muddy/patchy looking, which is not for me at all and it also took quite a while to blend also. This bronze stick retails for £1.50 and is part of the ps bronze collection, even though this particular product didn't work for me i still want to give some more items in the collection a try, especially the body bronzer.

I am such a huge fan of adding facial oil/radiance liquid to my foundation, so i thought why not give this particular one from the ps pro range and i have become obsessed with it. The thing about radiance drops/facial oils, is if you are a fellow dry skin girl or just love the dewy finish to your foundation, then these are literally going to be your best friend. They add such a subtle/radiant glow to your foundation, as well as if you have a foundation that is slightly thick, you can just add in a couple of drops to thin out the consistency and what i have learned from testing out these drops is that you don't need much at all, as it is quite a thin formula. These drops retail for £5, which i think is a bargain as you can spend anything between £20-£40 for the same type of product.

Finally we have a product that i am still undecided on, whether i love it or i think it is just mediocre and that is this strobing highlighter cream. Strobing cream is one of those products that can be used in a few different ways, either as a base, mixed in with foundation or applied straight to the highest points of the face where you would normally apply highlighter. The way i like to use it is applied straight to the highest points and then blend out with a damp beauty blender, which does blend out flawlessly and looks beautiful but you do need to apply quite a large amount of product to get the desired effect. That being said you don't mind so much as this is such a bargain at only £2 and if you are looking for a natural looking glow-y highlighter, then i do definitely recommend picking one of these up to try. I also like how nice and sleek the packaging looks, with the rose gold elements.
